Task Tracking Software

Software to track a training task for each person of the department.

There will be multiple departments, each department will have its own training tasks. Training task will be added by the administrator; and will be added for all the users in that department.

1) Administrator

- Add/Edit/Delete – Department (Example Department 1, Department 2, Department 3)
- Add/Edit/Delete – USER
- Create/Edit/Delete – Task (this task will be inputed for every USER created within that department.)
- Search by Name/Completed task/Uncompleted task/Due date/Location

The training task will also have to perform in a way where the administrator can search for any task (By Name, Completed Task, Uncompleted Task, Due Date, Location, By Date.) not mark completed. An alert will notify any task not completed by an USER near the due date (which will be set in the admin panel, example alert will notify admin X amount of days. X amount of days is set in the admin panel.)

I have a client that is looking for the following. Its in essence is an online order management website.

ONLINE ORDER – SALES – PRODUCTION – SHIPPING – CUSTOMER SERVICE

So once the order is placed online by the wholesale client, it will first show up in the pipeline. We need an ability to add, edit, review client profile. Each client profile will have a username and password.

Similarly every department such as sales, production, etc will have their own respective username and password. There will be a super admin user. Super admin user will be able to add, edit, delete the order anytime or have a bird’s eyeview of the order. He will have ability to tabulate this data, view it any which way in terms of sales revenue per month, per year, per item, per category, etc.

Similarly, each department will be able to edit, view and change it when the order moves to their department. Unless one department is done and signs off the order, say until production department is done with the order, shipping cannot touch it and viceversa.

Lastly, the order while in each department should be able to be assigned to any employee. Which means there will be an employee database and its profiles which can be set, validated and priviledges assigned by its department head.

So you get the idea. There will be other fields and details which will be released to you once your bid is finalized. I need the highest level of security built in, ability to backup this data at all times, extremely effective user-friendly interface. It has to be intuitive for non-computer savvy ppl.

Currently I am estimating about 7 departments, 200 employees and about 400 orders per month that will be managed by this system. Can you design it?

I have a company of various departments with drivers in each department. I need a system to track every driver’s movement through their mobile phone. Each department can track all the drivers under its department and not the drivers from other department. I as a administrator can control access to these users. Allocating, assigning, enabling and removing each handset client to each users.

1 x Client for Window Mobile Handheld
1 x Webpage that display Location of mobile phone location using Google Map. The webpage will be used by our side to integrate with other parts of the website.

The client is installed in the mobile phone so that it could report its location through buildt-in gps. Upload the coordinates into the webserver MYSQL and upon opening the web page it could display the location of the handheld using google map.

- Client must be activated upon startup automatically.
- Client will work at the background with little signature.
- Client cannot be disabled unless with controller password.
- Allow to configure the interval of each uploading of coordinates by controller.
- Able to set up different user accounts in the webpage.
- Each handset are allocated individual ID so as administrator can set privileges to different users who can view only different handheld set as according to their access allowed.

Look up the textbook used for each class
Copy the ISBN to the Excel sheet in the proper cell
If there is more than 1 ISBN, separate them with commas
Every ISBN should be 13 digits long, use http://andrewu.co.uk/tools/isbn/ to convert
If no ISBN exists, look it up from the title
If there is no Class Code, but Instructor is listed, look up the class at https://esa-oas-prod-wl.itap.purdue.edu/prod/bwckschd.p_disp_dyn_sched by choosing Spring 2010 as semester, choosing West Lafayette as campus, and by selecting the appropriate department, then looking up the Instructor

Vdi Xml/javascript Menu

Hi,

I need to have a javascript menu built from an xml file. You may use jquery, but no other js library.

The js menu should have a very similar look & feel to that of the target.com website.

The mail level of the website will contain 4 items (these items will be read from the xml file)
New Items | Basic Stock | Seasonal | Seasonal In Stock

For New Items, there will be a list of departments. When a user hovers over the New Items text, the menu will display a dropdown menu of Department names (the department names will be read from the xml file)

For The Basic Stock and Seasonal items, there will be a list of departments and a sublist of divisions. When a user hovers over the menu text, the menu will display a dropdown menu of Department names (the department names will be read from the xml file). When a user hovers over the Department name text, the menu will display a dropdown menu of Division names (the division names will be read from the xml file).

The Seasonal In Stock item won’t have any dropdown. It will simply point to a single URL.

All links from this menu system will point to a PHP script located in a subdirectory (from the public web root /catalog/page.php?products=)
The value of products in the URL string is in the xml file. It will look like 10 or 10,16 or 10,16,61

The xml file is periodically dynamically built from a database, so the js menu must read the xml file dynamically as well.

I have attached the current 106K xml file. You can download it and check out the format. I wrote the code to build the xml file, so it will be possible to make changes if you deem it necessary.

The js menu should be presented with css to modify base colors, rollover colors, etc. I’ll show you the site this will run on so you can get the colors right the first time.

I had this project completed and it is almost perfect. There are two problems with the existing code.
1. In IE7 the menu does not display properly.
2. When a primary menu choice is made, a secondary menu drops down in a single column. When a choice is made on that menu, a multi-column popout appears… all that is OK, except that when you choose a secondary menu item that is low on the list, some of the popout menu goes below the bottom of the page and cannot be seen or selected. (Try BASIC STOCK | Toys for example)

I need these two items fixed ASAP. For problem #2 I think we can just make the secondary menu wrap to two columns if there are too many items – or make sure that the popout doesn’t go past the bottom of the page.

I’ll attach the code pages for you to work on… or recreate the whole thing… its up to you, but I need it done ASAP.

Dynamics Crm Barcode Plugin

This project involves the creation of a plugin for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 to provide various barcoding functions for updating fields and pulling records. You *must* have experience in developing specifically for this platform and you *must* have experience in developing for barcode devices, specifically Symbol bar code scanners.

The idea is this: We will create bar code labels with the GUID and if need be, the objecttypecode of an entity in CRM as well as some additional action flag to indicate what is to be done.

Feature 1) Pulling records.

If it is a Case/Incident, scanning it will first check the user’s user role. If they belong to one or more administrative groups to be specificed, a window will pop up with the “edit” form for that entity.

If they belong to one or more technical groups to be specified, it will pull up that entity but go to a notetaking tab.

Feature 2) Department scanning.

On Case/Incidents, scanning a variation of the barcode above with some kind of flag on it will quietly update a picklist field for that ticket to indicate which department is currently responsible for the ticket. Example: the receiving department receives the ticket, scans the barcode and the current responsible group field gets set to “Receiving”. When the technical group scans it, that value changes to “Technical” and so forth.

This project is to be designed flexibly and configurably so that group names can be configured without recompiling or any other major hassle. Language is not important as long as it is supported in CRM 4.0, but it will probably end up being ASP.NET or C#. Further customizations of this software may be required in the future for additional pay.
