The project is to provide a demonstration program consisting of a website written in C#/.NET using the Visual Express 2010 tools and a flash program written using a freeware/open source flash development tool to be specified by the programmer.

The website will allow a user to launch a flash program which will demonstrate real time communication between the web server and the flash program running on the user’s browser.

Once the flash program is running, images and sounds can be created on the user’s screen by instructions sent by the server in real time, and the user can click on a flash button in their browser which will run code in the web server.

The flash program will also demonstrate the asynchronous operations of animating the movement of images on the screen (for example the movement of a chess piece from one location to another), and playing sound files.

Please see the attached document for specific functionality required.

The purpose of the project is to demonstrate to me how this functionality works in code. The code should be well commented and easy to understand. There will very likely be more work to develop these techniques into a fully functional website later.

The design project is to enable you to demonstrate the principles, processes and procedures one would adopt to conduct the feasibility on any major change of use project.

- To accommodate 100 persons besides a stage for 10 with all the necessary accessories

- Need to address the requirements of the Building Regulations

The design project is to enable you to demonstrate the principles, processes and procedures one would adopt ot tconduct the feasibilty on any mahor change of use project.

Demonstrate the process of initial investigation and recording of the existing structure taking into consideration all design aspects such as circulation, structural constraints, fire safety, acoustics, light and thermal issues. (35 marks)
