Novelist Seeks A Weekly Deadline Whip

October 23rd, 2011 Comments off

I want to finish a polished draft of my novel (the rough draft is already done). To make sure that I stick to my self-imposed revision/writing schedule, I want to hire a cheap “deadline whip.”

The job is very simple: every Monday you should receive an email with a new 4-page scene from me. You don’t ever have to edit, critique, or even read the manuscript. All you have to do is send me an email message saying “Congratulations on making progress with your novel!” when you get the latest installment.

If on the other hand, Monday comes around and you don’t see a new scene from me, then your task is to send an email to me (and all my friends), saying “Shame on Pat! His wretched novel has stalled again – what an idiot!” (Or something to that effect.)

The novel consists of 54 key scenes, so my plan is to have the finished novel done in about a year, say 13 months.

So there’s very little work required on your part. I expect to start this Polished Draft project in late December 2011.

I will pay you in two lump sums: the first at the start of the project, and the final payment 13 months later, say Feb 1st 2013 (whether the novel is actually completed or not).

Need Clone Of Vivapunta

July 5th, 2009 Comments off

Hi,

I need complete design and functionality clone of this website,
http://www.vivapunta.com/

So the agreement is agreed between you and me as 6 day’s Timeline and the budget is USD$100.

Deadline:
The project must be get started working on 5th July 2009 and the Deadline is : 11th July 2009.

You must get the project done exactly the clone of the reference site with some small modifications I mentioned in the description below on or before the deadline.

I have described some of the things here and I may be missed out lot but we need exactly the clone of the “http://www.vivapunta.com/” and also read these instructions too.

I need that site clone
http://vivapunta.com/

I wants the layout and something to introduce the info

If you download the whole site most of work is done

Site is about region “punta del este”, I wants to change the name of the region modifying it in the php config file…

A clone of the site with a panel to add info in each category and a config file to change var flags like the region

I want to add information in every category as a wordpress not static information. There isn’t problem if you put the info without database. But I want that in every category have a continue o pagination to add more info.

I want a clone of vivapunta without database but I want a panel to add the information in each category I want a pagination or continue to add more info. A panel where I write the info and select the category is the same as a wordpress with categories the unique is that the theme and the estructure of the info is diferent.

Presentation Website

Hello,

Whoever applies for this project must be competent and able to develop a website at least as good looking as www.agems.com (take this website like a future reference of how i would like the product pages. I want to post good quality pictures, and details must show)

THIS IS NOT A E-COMMERCE SHOP – we aren`t selling anything.

I am looking for a programmer to make for me a presentation website in Flash for watches, bracelets, etc. Also he must develop a private gallery.

Let me explain to you step by step what needs to be done:

STEP ONE:
Web-map of MAIN WEBSITE:
1. Home;
2. About Us;
3. Products;
i. Watches;
ii. Bracelets;
iii. XXX ;
iv. XXX ;
v. XXX ;
4. Contact;

STEP TWO:
Make the admin interface for the website.
This will have to allow the administrator to add pictures, write descriptions, edit prices, in the (3) Products category.

STEP THREE:
Make dinamic picture gallery. The categories will be the same as (3) Products category. So basicly the same frame, just different pictures.
The design must be different, but it must keep the same graphic lines as the MAIN WEBSITE.
This website must also have a login page (user/pass), witch will be made static. A simple, nice design (I can provide the graphics in psd format.

STEP FOUR:
Make a administrator interface for the module mentioned in STEP THREE. This will have to allow the administrator to add pictures, write descriptions, edit prices, etc.
The administrator must be able to make the accounts (users will not be able to create a new account – these will be given to them by the admin.) It would be nice if you could integrate a generator of users/pass. User must be a number and password mixed numbers and letters.

What I need from each programmer that apllies to this job is:
A template, made in photoshop for the front page and a product page. For example of a good design take a look at:
http://www.raymond-weil.com

This will be essential in picking the winning bid. Price is not so important as quality (as long as we are in the limit of the budget)

Also the company/programmer that will deal with this project will have to stick to a very precise deadline, with each step planned carefully.

The deadline for this project is 55 days. Each step of the project has a deadline, but that will be delivred to you if you manage to create a proper, proffesional looking template.

A few tips for the template:
1. use dark collors
2. you can use abstract elements
3. the design must be clean
4. use good quality pictures

Looking forward to your bids and templates until 11.06.2009

If you need other details please PM me.

You will need to sign a contract (besides the ScriptLance agreement) regarding copywrite.

Regards,
Alex

Credit Tracking

April 22nd, 2009 Comments off

This coding job is for an addition to our PHP MySql based website. Our site is already up and running and this would be an add on module to the site. This project will be developed separately from the site with you giving us db tables to create and code to upload. You will not have any access to our db or current coding. We will basically plug your code into our site. You will of course get a current framework of our db in order to pull relevant info.

The project is designed to track continuing education credits for professionals. Many professions require that their members complete a certain number of continuing education credits a year. You will create a system that allows our users to sign up for credit tracking. Since each state has different requirements such as frequency of credits due and number of credits, there will be a state db table which has all the requirements. The user will be able to sign up for keeping track of one or more state credit requirements.

When signing up, the user can select the info from the db or can overwrite the db with their own deadline and number of credits required. The number of credits required also includes specialty classes, so we need to keep track of general classes along with specialty classes taken.

The system should be able to integrate into our db and know when a user has completed a class (date, class name, and number of credits). A user will be able to look at a webpage and see how many credits they have taken, how many more they need before the deadline, and when the deadline is.

A user would also be able to upload credits not taken on our site. This would allow a manual upload of credits. The user would enter the name of the organization where they got the credits, the class name, and how many credits they got. The manually entered credits would also show up on our system.

There is also a section needed for emails sent to the user. These reminders would be sent to the user a set intervals. A user could have reminders set 1 month before deadline, every month, every three months, every six months, or never.

This code would need to integrate into our PHP heavy site, but want some web 2.0 features, so using Ajax to give us that look is needed (or something similar).
