I need a code or script for my wordpress based website that enables my site to “look” at a link every day and to read the data feed generated by the link, and then save the data into my products database on my website automatically

I currently have a Data feed on my web-site, and I would like a NEW Products Category created that these new items get put into automatically, with the latest products added to the top of the list. This will make it so that my customers can easily see all our new items.

My site has been built with Creloaded software and you should be very familiar with that prior to bidding on this project as well as extensive experience setting up data feeds. We have a client who wants a shopping cart.
Currently we have a data feed in MSSQL that is always up to date.
We need the data into the shopping cart and we need the data updated. Each day some items are discontinued and others are added and all are in the data feed. Assigning categories and subcategories needs to be worked out. Images can be hot linked to the supplier. The shopping cart must be able to make a Froogle Feed and export it regularly.

There are approximately 14,000 products in all and about 80 categories and each category having 1 – 10 subcategories. Prefer NT or Windows software on our server, will consider a hosted app.

Our client may not accept credit cards through this cart and if not, then many more carts are possible because the cart won’t be taking personal information, only adding up orders and assigning a unique ID that the customer would use when calling to pay. (maybe)

I have a stompernet ecommerce site based on pinnacle cart. I have a data feed of products from a distributor that needs to be corrected. many of the images are broken and not showing up correctly. The data feed auto updates twice a day.

I have 2 data feeds that I need to create 1 output from taking data from both feeds into consideration

INPUT:

Between the 2 data feeds they contain full details of the products I have for sale

The first data feed contains complete details of each product, however only the weight is needed from this file, this will be updated weekly and details need to be held in the database until the new feed is uploaded where it will replace all info with that from the new feed

The second data feed contains the price, available quantity and status of the products, depending on the status of the product

PRICE – This will be subject to a percentage discount which is also present in the data feed, this will be 15%, 35% or shown as 0.00% where by it will be subject to 40%

STATUS – This will be either no longer available, available now or available to order, within available to order there are 3 substatuses, these being available in 3, 10 or 14 working days

The available status is defined by the quantity in stock

The no longer available status has it’s own code

The 3 and 10 working day statuses will be defined by the same code and available date

The 14 day status is defined by it’s own code

Both data feeds contain the ISBN of each product to allow reference for the same product from both feeds

OUTPUT:

The output will need to have a specific layout, template will be given

There is a comments field which will have 4 different values for this depending on which status the product is

I need a script to take RSS affiliate data feeds and CSV files and convert them to a more central datafeed.

You need to make a function where I would input the feed or file and then I would choose what part is what (see fig1.jpg). This way it can work with any network or feed.

Basically, you need to make one central location that collects all the data and then I would pull the data from that location.

A similar company is http://www.goldencan.com/ that takes all the feeds and combines them in one location. I want my own version with a few tweaks. Mine is for personal use and does not need the member function and the extra features it has.

I have a site relating to gas prices, which allows visitors to search for recent gas prices by zip code. The structure is already in place, but I need to change source of the data. Right now, the data is being shown from my DB, which is outdated. I have a new source, which is gas buddy, and need to utilize their feed. The current structure is basically this:

if record for $zip exists in DB
compare date of record with current date_time
if difference > $specified_time, update DB using feed, show result
if difference < $specified_time, show result from DB, no feed usage
if no record for $zip in DB
insert record in DB using feed data, show result

The job is basically to understand the gas buddy feed, pull data based on zip, convert as necessary to store in DB in current format and make sure all existing functionality remain functional (like the map function). Some cleanup of existing code may be necessary.
