This sounds utterly pointless, right? But believe me, it’s more useful than it may seem.

Nitty gritty details of what the second script needs to do: Copy the files from the first script from the 4PC Backup folder into the original Jambatalk folder (they will need to replace the 15 existing files in that original folder that share their name, but keep the rest of the contents of the folder intact)

I have a 9mb dictionary word library that’s an encrypted .dat file. I need to decrypt the file so I can import it to my local database. Can anyone do this for me? I have no idea how the file is encrypted, but I can provide it to whomever.

I need someone that can code in either VB, .Net, Adobe Air, or C++
to create a small windows app for me. The concept is not difficult
but harvesting PageRank for large amounts of data might be, not sure
on this yet.

What the software needs to do is:

1) go to Google and crawl these type of results:

“key word” + some advanced search operator
(ability to see and change search syntax is required — nothing hidden in this area)

2) bring those back into a results window and

3) be able to fetch the PageRank of each result and finally

4) be able to sort them in ascending or descending order and export to csv or text

Also, ultimately I’d like this to interact with a memberscript to verify the user’s license as valid for security purposes. This will be a little tool I either sell or give to current clients. I would like to get a quote after the initial job for integration into a memberscript/site for verification/licensing purposes.

PS: For clarification, this is a ‘work for hire’ job and I’ll need to own the source code upon completion.

I get reports in the same form once a week. From those reports i need to pull out certain columns only. Rename those columns, sort them by style number, and add every 4 rows together to calculate totals and average costs.
I think this can be done via Visual Basic.

The Application will be integrate to a Call Recording solution and should provide the following functions :

1-Format a Dat Tape (AIT, LTO, DDS2/3/4, etc) and Identify it;
2-Verify if a specific Dat Tape is the one available in a specific Tape Device;
3-Transfer a single file or a list of files from Hd to a Dat Tape and Verify that the files are correctly stored there;
4-Recover a single file or a list of files from a Dat Tape back to a specific folder in the Hard Drive;
5-Track and return the free space available on a Dat Tape;

The program Lab1.java can automatically test a sorting algorithm, that can be specified by a command line argument:

java Lab1 quicksort

(the other possibilities for command line argument the program understands are insertionsort and mergesort)

In order to run this program you need to download lab1.zip and compile all the classes.

The program generates 5 random arrays of each size 500, 1000, 1500, …, 10000 and records the average execution time for each size. The partial results and the averages are printed to the screeen and to a file NameOfAlgorithm.dat (this file has most of the lines commented away for the program gnuplot you will be using. The only interesting lines are the ones registering the averages.)

You can warm up for the lab by using Lab1 as above and then plotting the results with gnuplot:

Start gnuplot by choosing gnuplot from the programs menu. It starts a window where you can give commands to gnuplot. To exit just type exit.
Go to the directory where your data files are by typing

gnuplot> cd ‘dirname’
Plot the datafiles by typing
gnuplot> plot “QuickSort.dat” with lines

This will make gnuplot go fullscreen. To return to normal mode press the ESC key and then do Alt-Enter.

Define a class Experiment.java with a little main to test QuickSort for big arrays. Your program should run QuickSort for sizes 50000, 100000, 200000, 400000, 800000. You will then get in the file QuickSort.dat values for T(50000), T(100000), T(200000), T(400000), T(800000). You should find out what approximation of O(N), O(N log(N)), O(N^2) fits your experiments better. This can be done by calculating T(N)/N, T(N)/Nlog(N), T(N)/N^2 for the given sizes and examining which one converges better.

Your class Experiment should extend Lab1 so that in your main you can use all the protected fields and methods (you only have to redefine main!)

In this exercise you will use Lab1.java as it is to get values for Insertion Sort, Merge Sort and Quick Sort (you will have to run the program three times, once for each algorithm).

a)Plot each of the files QuickSort.dat, MergeSort.dat and InsertionSort.dat using gnuplot as indicated above

b)Plot merge and quick sort together doing
gnuplot> plot “QuickSort.dat” with lines, “MergeSort.dat” with lines

c)Plot all three experiments together doing

Predict what the best case for insertion sort is (by analyzing the algorithm). Program an experiment to explore the execution time for insertion sort for its best case and report the results. Does the experimet confirm your prediction?

I need a program that will automatically put the “view source” results of phrases that would normally be entered into search engines into a .dat file.

I currently have a program that drops multiple requested phrases into a .dat file.

And the search engine names are dropped into another .dat file.

I need an add on program that will run on the client’s side. It will grab the information from the .dat files and automatically get the results from the search engines without any input or interaction from the client. The program would run in the background, gather the results from each phrase and drop the results into another .dat file.

As an example, when the program would be run, if one of the phrases was buying and selling widgets and Google was one of the search engines, everything you would normally see if you manually clicked on “view source” would automatically be dropped into a file called /reports/google/buying_and_selling_widgets.dat

Het gaat om een website waar de bezoeker via de site advies kan aanvragen. Zijn adviesaanvraag wordt daarna direct naar een adviseur doorgemaild. Er zijn meerdere adviseurs maar elke vraag gaat steeds naar 1 adviseur.

De site zelf is eenvoudig met maar 1 invulformulier + uitgebreide backoffice waar de gegevens van het formulier binnenkomen. Bezoekers kunnen via de site advies aanvragen. De ingevulde gegevens van de bezoeker moeten direct per email worden doorgestuurd naar een adviseur. De ontvangers (adviseurs) moeten aan te maken zijn in de backoffice/admin. Ingevulde formulieren worden gelijk verdeeld onder de ontvangers, dus de ene keer gaan de gegevens naar ontvanger 1, daarna naar ontvanger 2, etc. Van elke ontvanger is in de admin in te stellen op welke dagen hij emails wil ontvangen en welke dagen niet. Per dag ook het tijdstip van xx:xx uur tot xx:xx uur dat men wil ontvangen. Verder is in te stellen welk postcodegebied men van wil ontvangen (bij elke ontvanger moet je in de admin een postcode kunnen invullen en afstand invullen in kilometers er omheen).

Adres/postcode checker om automatisch te kunnen bepalen of ingevulde NAW-gegevens kloppen.
Kloppen de gegevens niet dan moet het script een uur later een mailtje sturen dat de adviesaanvraag is afgewezen.

Affiliate systeem. Als een bezoeker binnenkomt via een link naar de homepage van de site met daar achter een code (bijvoorbeeld www.sitenaam.nl/?code=adwords) , en hij vult daarna het formulier in, dan is in de backoffice te zien dat hij via die code is binnengekomen.
