I currently have a PHP/jQuery based project that I would like to optimize. It is a image slideshow that allows visitors to a website to rank images on a scale of 1-5 with star-based system similar to Adobe Bridge or Windows Explorer in Win 7. Currently the data is stored in a CSV text file. I have noticed that performance is terrible once serveral people have ranked images as I believe the script reads through the text file looking to match IPs with ratings to prepopulate any previously ranked images. I would like to modify the code to store the information in either an Access Database or MS-SQL database instead. Last year I had a website designed and built by a programmer on here which after 7 weeks was eventually sent live in Sept 2010. After 3 weeks the website disapeared and was found to have been hacked and phishing data installed. Last week I was told by my hosts (HostGator) that the site is now clean and back online, which it is. The site currently has 20 movie avi files hosted at hostgator for download.

I now require the following as I am not technical.

1) To advise as to whether a `domain name` change is possible as the current one is not reflecting keyword searches. If `yes` I shall purchase one more suited to the websites niche.

2) A complete check on the configuration of all the movie files on site.

3) A check to ensure that all 20 movie files currently on site download properly.

4) A check to ensure that the sites shopping cart is configured ok with CCBill (ccbill module installed and confirmed as working ok by ccbill themselves 2 days ago).

5) To provide me with the login (or new login) information for the cpanel and to provide intructions for me to access this area and how to use it to monitor sales, downloads, customer info, ect.

6) To periodically upload new movie files and properly configure them. This will need to be done on request.

7) To reduce the amount of time customers have to wait to receive their download information after purchase. (currently up to 18 hours!!)

To add a small `movie player` to the home page (or a sub-page) to show some `teaser clips`.

9) To `SEO` the website to make it more visable to `Google, Yahoo, and Bing.

I would need the programmer who will do this to be fluent in written English to ensure fluid communication with no mis-understandings.

Hi, I am seeking a PHP/MySQL expert for a few very simple fixes on my site. I would highly prefer someone who is familiar with the way sites like cubestat.com are programmed. The website I currently manage is siteworthchecker.com and the fixes needed are as follows:

- Increase the search speed. Currently it takes about 10-20 seconds per search, when similar sites that are pulling the same data are nearly instant.

- Review each statistic and make sure they are calculating as accurately as possible.

I currently have a website at http://www.ntxshowlist.com that I want to redo the calendar for. It is currently using Google Calendar.
I want to have a new calendar system with mysql/php to list concerts that is easy to add shows to the database to and has a few different fields such as Date, Bands, Venue, City that can be filtered and displayed as a table.

For example, if I want to have the field names up top and have the default sort be for Date, then City, then Venue, then Band.
I want to be able to click any of those names and have it automatically change the sort to that field.
It would also be good to have a search box to find a particular band.

We have an xcart system currently up and running on our server. We have two issues that need to be addressed:

1) We currently have the ‘Fancy Catagories’ plugin, which currently will only display 30 menu items before the bottom of the window cuts off the results. We need to fit more than 30 menu items on the screen. If possible, we would like the plugin to group items alphabetically only under the under the ‘books’ category’. For example:

Bookstore > Books > A-L > then list the results.

We need this menu grouping with to be done dynamically using either PHP or javascript. We do not want the client to have to modify his inventory database in order to have his books grouped alphabetically in the books product menu.

2) Also with the ‘Fancy Catagories’ plugin, we need to add a 2 second delay when the user hovers over a menu choice before the submenu appears. This same 2 second delay needs to occur when the cursor is moved away from the menu option and the menu closes. The problem we are having is that currently the cursor/menu is too sensitive and it is very easy to select the wrong category or close the menu on accident. A delay between when the cursor is over the item and when the menu changes should solve this.

Looking to bid out a WordPress based job creating a 3 column site. I’ve taken the site as far as I can with the knowledge that I have, but in need of a real pro. This is for a start-up charitable organization, still in the process of filing its 501(c)3 with the US IRS. When it goes through we can even negotiate a tax deductible receipt for you, but only after it goes through government approval. This could be many weeks away yet, so please bid as if that is not an option.

The charity is based on helping homeless people in the USA. We would like our site to have a black background with maroon headers and white content. You can see what we have here: www.beerandacondom.org.

Currently we are using a modified mushblue theme from Mu. Our site needs three columns and multiple author pages with author bylines and possible pictures appearing on posts. We also want the background image to be brick like it currently is. We need to have a widget of a beer bottle on the furthest column that will fill as donations are rendered. The site needs to be widget and plugin friendly and easily upgradable with WordPress upgrades.

We also would like a page with an up-datable calendar and the current page hierarchy we have. One thing we don’t currently have available is sub pages which are accessible from the header. We want these to show up under the parent category, but not as a typical drop down menu. We really want something that POPS.

While I’m at it if the same person can create our banner with a cartoon carachture of a homeless person sitting on a curb with a cardboard sign saying our name, that goes outside the wordpress box. We want this person to be targeted in a snipers target (flash) going about the entire banner. If this can be included in the project than all the better. The more work to be completed the higher the budget.

Like I said this is for a start-up charity with a funny name, but with a very serious mission. We are doing this with our own money and there is not a lot to spend.

I have installed osticket onto my HostGator Account and require some mods.

Hopefully most of the mods have already been made or work arounds have been created on the osticket forums here:

So I simply want someone to install their own copy of osticket onto their server, install the mods to test that they work. Once we know that they all work, we can then transfer them over to my server.

We are hoping to fully implement osticket as a web based client. I have got it running fine at the moment, however I would like to make it a bit more user friendly for the clients.

+ Addition of formatting for emails.
At the moment it only allows a standard format of text, similiar to this box I am using to enter text in now. However if I wish to use bold or different sized font it is currently not possible. (So similiar to sending an email on hotmail).

Similiar to log in to your hotmail or yahoo, when your viewing the list of messages, it should have the time it was received, currently it just displays the date.

+ Rebadging of the main customer screen. I would like to replace osticket logos with my company’s logo.

+ Option to be able to CC or have multiple parties attached to a ticket.

+ Merge Tickets
Sometimes multiple tickets get created for the same issue by the same user. It would be ideal to be able to merge these all together.

We have a website that is mostly WP based, but also has some static pages that need to be moved into wordpress. In addtion, the WP installation is in a subdirectory, and we’ll want it moved into the root, BUT we’ll want to keep all URLs from breaking, so some htaccess redirection will be required.

Also,the homepage is not currently in WP, but has a lot of content blocks. Moving that into WP, and making it editable by the end-user from the WP backend is required. Maybe use widgets to do that?

There are only 3 non-WP pages, currently, plus the homepage. Also, there is a BBpress forum that is currently in the /blog/forum directory, and will need to be moved to the /forum directory.

I am in the process of completing a site, but have a few small changes and additions that need to be done.

The site is a VERY simple & stripped down version of Scriptlance. It will allow Buyers to post projects and Providers to bid on them, same as Scriptlance. All features and functions are running and functional, you would just have to make some slight additions and modifications. The PHP seems to be pretty simple to figure out and modify.

It is adult related, so keep that in mind before bidding (however, there are currently no photos/videos on the site).

The following is what I need:

1) Currently only buyers are allowed to post a ‘For Sale’ ad. I need to allow providers to also be able to post an ad. I was able to do this myself, however when an ad was posted, the cost was not deducted from their account.

2) After a new project or for sale ad is posted, I would like a confirmation notice to load, letting the user know it was successfully posted. It currently just skips to the page of the new project or ad…this is ok, I would just like a thank you note on top.

3) Same as above, but a confirmation note needs to be added when a buyer chooses a provider for their project. Currently, after a provider is chosen, it just skips back to the main “My Account” page. Everything works fine, I would just like the little extra note added.

4) Like in Scriptlance, I would like the buyer to be able to select a provider from a drop-down list when sending Escrow or Transferring funds. Providers are added to the buyers list of options to send payment to after they are chosen for a project. Currently, it just has a blank input box, which is alot of work for the buyer to manually type in and also leaves room for misspelling errors or sending money to the wrong provider.

I have had to repost this project after the original programmer dissapeared shortly after winning the bid.
However I have decided to split the media components away from the rest of the project. Part A (this project) deals with the media stuff, where as Part 2 deals with the php stuff.

Project = Modifications to an existing PPV software package (Version 2.1 of the Jasmin Clone – from Camscripts).

The Modifications required are:

+ SCHEDULING = Each user currently has a profile which explains a bit more about them. They edit their own profiles by completing just the usual form style page. The scheduling only needs to be in this format and just consist of the 7 days of the week and their times OR even simplier, just a standard HTML text box that they can enter in their own text details (and the box will automatically resize according to the data entered). No need for anything more complicated than this.

+ ALTER LIST OF PAYOUT METHODS – This is yet again a very simple page. Each model currently can log in and define how they wish to be paid, they have the option of choosing thier desired method and then entering in their details. For example if they prefer paypal, they select paypal, and then enter in their paypal account details. With simple things like these, I would like someone to set it up initially, and then instruct me as to how I personally could make text changes in the future.

+ FIXING OF BUGS – Currently there is a bug where if you forget your password for your login, and click “forgot your password” the php fails to connect to the SQL database and presents an error. Currently the system has an integrated simple pay management. For example, it automatically calculates the model’s revenue and then when I want to pay them, I click a “PAYOUT” button and it should automatically deduct any outstanding money from the model’s account and the transaction then appears on my payout history on the model’s version of their personal payout history. However currently it doesn’t process this, I am hoping it is just a simple mistype in the script somewhere.

+ TRANSACTION HISTORY FOR ADMINS – A transcation history for myself (admin) to be able view about a customer/client. EG, When money was added to their account, when it was taken out, etc…. Currently the client has access to their records, but for some reason the admin can not see this page.

+ ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT TOOLS – The addition of some more simple account management options. For example, the admin currently has no way of reseting a user’s password, or changing their email address or anything like that. Currently the only way for this to occur is for the user to log into their account directly. So I am hoping this can be created very simply for the admin with the addition of some buttons.

+ ALERTPAY GATEWAY

Currently have a site that is built on a LAMP architecture. Specifically using PHP 4 and the underlying structure should be updated to current releases.

Site currently uses a home grown CMS that is based on a geographical hierarchy.

It was originally built as a ppc bid model, but that functionality is not currently being used as we have set up current customers on a tenancy basis.

Items that need to be addressed.

Self service modules need to be updated to allow customers to signup, create and maintain ads, and review performance. (additional instrumentation is needed for full statistics)

Admin modules need to be updated to allow tiered access (writer, editor, admin)

social networking and other user functionality needs to be expanded. (share offers, save package, refer a friend)

CMS should be expanded to manage multiple sites, etc.

I currently have this toolbar for my Word 2002, but it doesn’t work now that I’ve gone to Vista.

I’ve attached a picture of it in 2002. Basically, it’s a toolbar that works apart from the clipboard. I create my own list of things I want to stick to the toolbar clipboard, then just click on them when I want them pasted in.

Example – I’ve taken the terms Mr. Dean, truth, testing 7, pasted, Mrs. Bland and forgive and pasted them on the toolbar clipboard. Now I just press on them to insert them. I can remove those words – add other ones. It’s easy to use.

Currently, to paste words onto the toolbar I write the word, highlight and Control/C to add it to the toolbar. Then if I want to remove it I Control and click on the word on the toolbar. Easy. There is also the text field in the toolbar where I can just type what I want – hit enter – it goes on the bar.

Very important – it needs to copy and paste EXACTLY as I save it – bold or highlighted or different fonts – whatever. And it must save the toolbar settings when Word is closed – keep those words on there till I change them.

Currently, I add the toolbar using the Add-in feature in Word. Don’t know if it’s the same in later versions like 2007.

We are currently using dabbledb.com to house all our information for a business. All information can be exported as CSV’s. We currently have 5 “applications” in the database. The only reason we want to convert from dabbledb to a regular mysql database is for our website. We need to be able to pull information from the database to show custom statistics for each user on the website, dabble will not allow us to do this.

We would need a way to access our data like dabbledb from any computer with Internet access. We also need an easy to use front end to make queries and insert the output in to web pages. I do not know any MySql, but have SOME php knowlege. I am good with design / layout however when it comes to the back end I am not so sharp.

Project: DVD Cover, Disk and insert design in photoshop.
I currently have a DVD cover, disk and insert design in svg format (Scalable Vector Graphics file in Inkscape). I don’t have time to do this so here’s the project:

Take the templates that I will provide you (Inkscape is available for free online) and transfer the designs over to photoshop templates.

The text (copy) and all the graphics remains the same.

Details: The templates are currently in a golden color scheme. Clean up the design, meaning make sure that the text that is currently located too close to the edges is moved in from the bleed area and that the color scheme is cleaned up. Make sure that that finalized template dimensions are accurate.

Once finished, take the same design for each of the three templates and make three additional designs in different color schemes.

For example, currently the color scheme is gold. Make an additional set of templates with a bluish feel, make an additional set of three templates with a redish feel, make an additional set of templates with a greenish feel.

So, in total there will be for set of four templates (12 files).
Easy.

Please only bid if you are an expert in Photoshop and you have designed high quality DVD cover templates: I don’t want someone practicing on this project.

My son is currently an amateur skater who is working on acquiring additional sponsors (we currently have one sponsor, looking for more.) We need to have a basic website where we can post pictures and videos and links to sponsors. The following information is provided from a 3rd party source about this specific image format.

That game is using standard Direct3D pixel formats, RGB/RGBA/DXT1/DXT3. The latter two are a lossy compression method. Some of the textures are also encoded with multiple mip-levels.

The structure of each texture is obvious:

MIPHDR1 = { width, height }

The length of each data section is not specified but can be deduced from the dimensions and bits-per-pixel of the format (3, 4, 0.5, 1).

Like if they like their restaurant name to be font 11 or 12, or 15 etc,, and what color, use a slogan for restaurant etc., To somehow redo the picture placements to make them align and look professional. For the restaurant registration to create user name and password and can be modified through admin panel, add, delete users/etc.,

Current restaurant registration page need to be simple for the menu item and menu name creation page. Instead of clicking every time to add an item or menu, it should be available to just type in the menu name, type in each items following the line and indicate if there is a preference for size, large,small,medium and pricing correctly.

In additional to the current pictures if they would like to add to the menu, include a P! for picture, where if users click on the P! icon the picture would be enlarge to the same size as the restaurant profile picture. Allow c! for coupons, coupons has a limit which owner can give out, and each coupon should be on the restaurant page when owner create them and coupons should have a unique id 7 digits for each customer requesting it, they should type in for whom and the address. Once they retrieve the coupon from the system, print it out, it should stay in that restaurant coupon section for one month so that the owner can check it online whenever to find out if its real or not. Restaurant owner can create coupons every week, delete them, modify them etc., I should be able to modify the coupons, delete them also, delete or change restaurant owner’s name password and delete them too or restrict them from login in. They can also have up to 5 videos links to youtube on the page or whatever videos online link like dailymotion, whatever on the restaurant page to be added as optional and everything can be edited by owner or via admin panel by me like it is currently. Attached is a jpeg showing what the new header should look like – the main differences being the map on the right and the ‘mini-menu’ up the top. Each of those tabs will link to seperate pages.

Under the “Car Service & Repairs” section there is a form that appears on the right when you click the ‘express quote’ or ‘express booking’ buttons – the javascript on this form is currently not working how I requested.

All fields marked with a * star should be verified once the submit button is pressed. Currently the form is using onblur events to verifiy fields have been filled in – I want the onblur events removed and a simple onsubmit verification done instead.

The other validation that needs to be done on this form is that the verify name field should match the first field in the form. This is just a simple anti-spam measure.

The form should also send the email via php to an email address I will supply to you.

The form with the three icons (pricing options, service area, car makes) currently appears only on each page in the “Car Service & Repairs” section. It also needs to be added to the “Contact & Booking” page, “Fleet Service” page and also the home page.
