WordPress Theme Tweaks

July 13th, 2009 Comments off

Hi

Freelancer with good WordPress CSS theme experience including cross browser compatibility and standards required for minor tweaks to CSS and Theme layout required to ensure cross browser compatibility.

We need static front page layout showing correctly in IE, Chrome, Safari and Firefox for PC and Mac and pass validator test.

http://mortgagecorp.com.au is the site, as you can see it needs help.

Should be 4-5 hours for competent WordPress/CSS person just to tidy up the layout and make the CSS behave correctly for all browsers

Must be able to start work today, must show examples of work and must be freelance (ie no companies or BDMs please only respond if you will be doing the work yourself)

Please advise what time zone and country you are in,

Cross Browser Compatibility

I require to ensure cross-browser compatability on www.grumpygorilla.co.uk.

I know of at least a couple problems in IE6:
1. The drop down menu in the top nav doesn’t work (products and brands)
2. There is double spacing in the left menu, and in the articles menu on the right when you are in the shop.

Timing: Need to sort today, if possible.

Please confirm what sort of changes will be required to fix this (e.g. just CSS styling), and if there are other problems aside from those listed.
