Profitable Crops 2

December 3rd, 2009 Comments off

I need two A4 text pages for each of 11o common crops i.e.220 pages. I have a list of the nominated crops; they are vegetables, fruits, herbs, nuts and berries.The theme is how to grow, harvest and sell them (nothing about cooking or recipes).The info is for crops grown in the soil i.e.not about hydroponics.Items to include are:
*time in weeks to grow to maturity; picking, packing, washing considerations paricularly as this affects the labour involved;
*spacing required when planting;
*retail & wholesale price per kg.or per lb.
*size the plants grow to; nutrients taken out of the soil by the plants;
* estimated yield in kgs or lbs per 100sq.ft.or 100 sq.m.
* references to sources of info supplied.
* it would be useful for some crops (particularly tomatoes, cucumbers & lettuce) to comment on the impact on yield & growing season of using a shadehouse or greenhouse.

Safety Crops Indesign Server

Currently InDesign CS3 desktop and Server do not allow for printer crop marks to appear for the margin or the saftey as we call it in the publishing world. I need an script to use for both desktop and server, CS3, so that when I make a PDFX1a, I have the option to create safety crops. It would be like Gluon cropster but I hear that cropster cannot work on InDesign server. The end result is that the margin can have a safety crop appear the same waty a bleed can appear.
