I have 17 product images that have been supplied to me as hi res JPG images.
I need to prepare these for display on our web site by cropping them to remove as much white space as possible and resizing the image so that it is exactly 300px wide x 330px high.
The supplied image proportions are different to the required size so straight scaling of the image will not produce the desired result. The product should be placed in the centre of the resized image horizontally and vertically.
Images will be supplied as a multiple zip files each less than 10 MB containing the hi res jpg files.
This is not an exclusive job, but just a fix for existing page

2. Furthermore the thumbnail image (48x48px but displayed larger) should be transformed into an grayscale image which consists of only 4 colors (black, white, darkgray, lightgray). Is this possible width php imagefilter?

4. This script should work with multible users doing this at the same time.

There are 171 images that need resizing.
They need to be cropped first and put on a white background in Photoshop.
They then need to be resized to 3 different sizes and each size saved using a specific naming convention (the PLU of each item) eg 71156_main or 71156_zoom or 71156_details (the images already have the correct PLU)
I will explain further but please note there will be 171 to crop but 513 altogether once finished.
This could be a monthly job though the number of images will vary.

Need a web application that takes a URL as a parameter, then converts that into a screenshot, then allows you to view the image and crop out the area of the image you want to keep. Should function similar to the facebook profile picture feature that allows you to put a box around your uploaded picture and crop only the area you want to display.
This just needs to be a stand alone demo script that provides the functionality. No integration with other applications or graphics is required. Please specify previous experience with this type of application and explain any special tools or software required.
Server environment is PHP 5. This should work in the browser (IE, Safari, FireFox) using a php script.
We need to have two images cropped to have transparent backgrounds. Final image must be clean with no rough or jagged edges. Mockups are required. We will choose the best mockup that meets our requirements.

We have oscommerce Shop where where users can select the images we will print , think about istock stuff.
we can print them on wallpaper or even blinds (murals)
people select picture or do upload their own, afther selection they give in wall size and height, price is calculated autmaticly
but than we have little problem, because selected images not always fitting in the wall or blind , so we need a cropfunction to set the image cut display , so they see what section they want to print out
afther they can add that in the shoppingcart and pay, webmaster and user get confirmation with the selected image
upload needs to be huge size possible, we have our own serverm, so even using auto ftp would be possibility

Enter Size= wall or window size in cm
menu: a) database (this is the categories with subcategories with images )
b) create and order
a) The picture are shown exactly as the wallpaper we have on our website(is main categories) and if you click that, the subs with zoom function.(this is already in) if you click a product, you are directed to the create and order page.
b1) On the create and order page there will be message that you alreay selected an image or if you want to upload your own photo/picture to continue.
