I need a very attractive website that will allow users to easily search or browse by category for local area coupons. Graphic design experience is important.
Front end functionality:
1. Each coupon would have the option to be emailed and/or sent via sms text message to a cell phone user. Because the coupon is a graphic, the text would strictly be text stating the offer and email would include the graphic.
- The user would enter in their phone number if they opt to have it sent via text message.
2. Organize search results by how close it is to an address or zip code
3. Mapping of coupons around a specific address through google maps
4. Rating of coupons either thumbs up or down
5. Company pages would include their logo, map of address, bio, and associated coupons.
6. Option to share specific coupons through popular social sites like facebook, twitter, etc.
7. categorize coupons by the database field as explained in 8 below
A strong admin backend is a must for maintaining content.
Features would include:
1. Indiviual company profiles to provide background info, maps, and contact info
2. When adding coupons, selecting the specific company they are associated with
3. Auto expiration of coupons so they are “closed” or removed from public view when they expire.
4. Tracking of page hits and how many emails/text messages users did on a coupon.
5. support for advertisements (example google adwords)
6. Support to upload images for coupons
7. Each coupon would need to be able to turn off the text message feature if a specific company did not want it to be used in that way.
8. each coupon would have appropriate database fields that allow the admin to create and modify like:
a. City Location/Zip
b. service type (food, personal care, laundry, etc.)
c. Each service type would be broken down into more specific category like (pizza, seafood, hair cuts, dry cleaning, etc.)
9. Feature that shows newest and most popular coupons.
10. Location on front page showing a featured coupon.
Additionally, I would like to support mobile browsing, so a mobile theme is also needed. However this does not need to be setup additionally. It may need to be a side project.

Lastly, I enjoy using wordpress because everything is database driven and allows for website themes/design to be changed as needed. I would be open to developing a plugin through wordpress if anyone feels that would also work. I just want to make sure everything is database driven and not hardcoded into php/html.
