I need a facebook reveal tab redesigned slightly (text adjustment and image replacement) and I need it set up to reveal an image that I need you to modify if you can. If you can’t modify the image then let me know when you apply because I am also seeking a graphic designer to help with the project. I need the link on the picture to lead to the picture uploaded on another page. I need this work done immediately. Add A Countdown Clock To My Video Squeeze Page

November 7th, 2011 Comments off

I want to add a countdown clock to my video squeeze page.
The squeeze page is currently being used so I don’t want
to mess it up. The squeeze page is made using Optimize Press
(ie WordPress ) platform. I’ve found some plugins on wordpress.org
but they are widgets appear likely to interfere with my contact form and listbuilding.

Let me know if you can add a Countdown Clock, above the fold,
to these site, (http://www.keys4dollars.com/ , http://www.buypropertiesnow.net
for example while keeping the same format.

Simple Timer Countdown

October 17th, 2011 Comments off

Simple countdown script – modifiable – sesson/cookie based.

A user visits our page and it says something along the lines of “Today only! $10 Off!” Then “Sale Ends: “
Timer Placed Here (1 Hour, 22 Minutes, 59 Seconds, 10 Milliseconds)

Time/Date format should be modifiable.

1) If we want to change from 1 hour and 22 minutes, to just 22 minutes, it should not display the hour section at all.

Good: ( 22 Minutes, 59 Seconds, 10 Milliseconds )
Bad: (0 Hour, 22 Minutes, 59 Seconds, 10 Milliseconds)

2) Different time display mods. Example:

( 22 Minutes, 59 Seconds, 10 Milliseconds )
( 22:59:10 )
( 22:59) (Doesn’t show milliseconds if that’s what we select)

3) Colors for numbers and background.

Example:

Red numbers, white background
Red numbers, black background
Black numbers, white background
etc

Session/Cookie based:

1 user comes to site, sees timer counting down from say for example 22 minutes. Comes back 10 minutes later, times should now be at 12 minutes.

If timer gets to 0, when the user comes back, it should disappear.

Different styling examples:
http://www.littlewebthings.com/projects/countdown/example/?style=light
http://www.littlewebthings.com/projects/countdown/example/

More simple ones with basic font/text will also work.

Also note we’re running on WordPress – so not sure exactly how to insert it into pages….

Temporary Homepage Design

October 17th, 2011 Comments off

We are taking down our community website temporarily to do a re-launch marketing campaign. We want a clean page with the logo and the following verbiage:

NYC Cashflow will relaunch in
[countdown timer]
Contact us with any questions or to volunteer.

With the [countdown timer] being a JavaScript countdown timer that counts down to the actual launch (we will let you know the actual day of the launch after we select the winning contractor) This should be a simple webpage but match the color scheme and style of the existing site. Please quote us as low as possible on a flat fee as we are on a limited budget. The contractor will be required to deliver this in HTML along with the javascript embedded into it so that the countdown timer functions. It can be a javascript plugin script readily available on the web so long as the script doesn’t require that there be any credit given to the maker on the html rendering (credit to them in the HTML source is ok). A countdown timer in another language other than javascript is ok as long as it functions in a way that achieves a clock like count down of how many days, hours, minutes and seconds to the launch. Thanks. I look forward to working with you

Programmer Needed To Create Simple Script 2

July 3rd, 2011 Comments off

I need someone to create a simple javascript or jQuery script for me. It will need to function similar to a basic countdown timer, but when the timer runs out, instead of showing a javascript alert or loading a new website, I need it to enable content on the page.

When the user visits the site, they should see a button (image 1) that isn’t a clickable link and a countdown timer (which I can set to various times through the script). When the countdown timer reaches zero, it should change the image of the button to a second image, and enable the user to click that link. Basically I want a countdown timer that unlocks content on the page.

The script doesn’t have to be incredibly fancy or complicated, I don’t need any sort of backend to set it up – I’m fairly competent with HTML, so it can just be the function itself that I can call from my websites and insert manually into the pages. I’d like this to be done quickly and as simply as possible.

Basic functions I need:

Countdown timer
Ability to rotate through two images (one while timer runs, and one after timer ends) for the clickable link
Ability to keep the user from being able to click the link until the timer runs out

Timer Countdown Issue On Pennyauctionsoft Script

May 19th, 2011 Comments off

Hi there,

I currently have a website running(online) using .php and it is an online portal for users to bid. The website also features an auto-bidder function which allows users to place bids in a range and the amount of bids the user is willing to spend. Everytime the auto-bidder kicks in to help the user bid, the timer is automatically extended by a set amount of time. Now the problem is that at some point of time, say two bidder are vying for the same auction to see who will eventually be the winner, the auction will close prematurely all of a sudden even though the auto-bidder has kicked in to bid. The thing is that sometimes even if the auto-bidder has placed a bid, the timer which should increase, does not. I have totally no clue why is it happening this way. I have already changed the server to a high spec one with alot of resources to spare but the problem persist.

Best Regards,
Eugene

Recurring Countdown Timer

May 17th, 2011 Comments off

I have a HTML webform that registers people for one of three
webinar events that repeat ever week. I need a count down
timer to reflect when the next webinar starts for that week.

The Three Choice are

Monday 12pm EST
Wednesday 7pm EST
Thursday 10pm EST

That means if a page visitor on Monday at 11:30am would
see 30 minutes till the live show. But if a visitor came to the
page at 12:01pm… they would see “LIVE IN PROGRESS”…

Now if a visitor came at 1:00pm EST they would see the
count down timer display 54:00:00 (54 hours) till next
presentation… which is the Wednesday 7:00pm EST.

See the same page of where the timer will go.
http://safelogin.me/stickengine-treg/webinar/registration/#

PS: Here are some sample count down timers I like.

Jquery Time Left Bar Plugin

May 16th, 2011 Comments off

I’d like a jQuery plugin that will demonstrate time left in the form of a bar (ideally working like http://www.idaab.com/bar/ for example).

The way it works is like a typical countdown script, only instead of displaying it as numbers, it displays it visually as a bar that goes from fully filled to empty.

At fully filled it should be considered 1 minute (for example), then it counts down by seconds.

There should be the ability to set the countdown time (for example, 30 seconds, 45 seconds, etc.)

I would also like the ability to set off another jQuery script when the countdown has completed. (for example pop-up alert, or change hide/unhide of some divs, etc.)

Please let me know if there are any questions.

Countdown Timer Offer Eg Call Within The Next X Minutes…

April 11th, 2011 Comments off

As shown in the title, we’ll need you to write a small script that we can put on any page of our client’s website and have them control it from a desktop control panel you’ll create for them.

SPECS:

1. Should be 1 in x 4in wide in dimension default but they can change to any in their console area.

2. Probably needs a cookie since they’d be going between pages and script should recognize the unique visitor, so the offer persists across pages as they navigate (until they hit X close).

3. Control panel for them to select various parameters including:

a. Position: Float position (choices of top left or right or bottom right)
b. Dimensions of message box. We can browse to select our bg image.
c. Actual message, which we’ll key in (for example, “Call within the next 5 minutes and mention Code #_______ and you’ll receive $X off your order (or free shipping etc) with ability to preview. They click to reveal their offer code.
d. Which page(s) triggers (& persist to show) that floating window offer, starting the countdown, ie offer shows when they first arrive at that/those page(s).
e. offer frequency (how often that offer surfaces). We’ll want to be able to select a range of time (eg 1 time every 60 mins).
f. Coundown timer period (ie we can set it to any number of minutes).
g. Randomizer: We can have it either do “d” above (every customer opening a certain page triggers the countdown offer) OR “randomizer” which sets the timer to appear X number of times every Y minutes but at RANDOM times within those Y period.
h. The code will always be unique and never repeat
i. We’ll work with you to figure out a system where when customer calls with the code, the code itself will hold the expiration time and offer in encrypted form; decrypt the expiration in the control panel.
j. Control panel table includes: Offer info, time info, ip, status (active or expired).
k. Control panel variables section allows to enter # mins, frequency, interval, period.

4. The website is basic html so whatever language would work most universally with FF, IE, Safari, Opera.

Bids up to $200 will be considered. Start your bid with words “real bid” and include any questions along with your preferred language/platform, and if you can easily do all features.

Powerbuilder Programmer

March 21st, 2010 Comments off

Hi,

I’m trying to meet a deadline and im trying to fix some bugs before that deadline, the current programmer is busy adding features and also working on bugs but we need the extra help to get these all done by the deadline.

A quick and basic explanation of what the program does:
It monitors a database and when it exceeds certain criteria it launches a countdown and closes certain exe programs running when the countdown finishes. It locks them out for an hour and if they try and relaunch the exes within that hour it will start the countdown and close it again. So its kind of like a netnanny type application but its job is to close poker clients when it exceeds a certain amount lost.

The program is fully functional but some people are experiencing these type of bugs:

1) One of the tools that shows what the current amounts being tracked are is freezing, its mostly used as a debug tool but wed like to track down whats causing the freeze and get it fixed. (Vista)
2) This guy with the same problem above has another issue, when the amount is exceeded the countdown is delayed and doesnt run when it should, since we cant see the debug tool (see 1 above) its hard to figure out the issue (Vista)
3) Another guy the countdown and lockout dosent happen at all when it should, however if he closes the exe and tries to reopen it then the other lockout then works, this happens with XP
4) On XP aswell with one of my test machines the lockout starts and when it gets to the end when it should shut down the exe it just loops through and does the countdown over and over but never closes the exe.
5) Ive one other guy that gets a crash when the program starts, again we need to track down what causes this and fix it

So the thing with all of the above is they dont happen for everyone and seem specific to that user however if its happening to some people it may happen to others so i need to fix that. All of these users will allow you to login to their PC with Teamviewer to troubleshoot the issue, i can provide a test enviroment with the program running that you can troubleshoot, i believe Powerbuilder 10 is installed on that PC too.

You will have contact with the main Powerbuilder programmer to ask any questions about the code and how it works. What youll need to do is probably make a debug version of the program where it narrows down the line of code that causes the crash/issue possibly by putting alert messages into the code or whatever way you find easiest to find the issue and then fix the code. I think the XP issues are specific to XP, maybe it doesnt like the code as it was designed mostly on vista platform.

The database used is PostgreSQL but you shouldnt need to worry about this as none of the problems are really related to PostgreSQL and its pretty straight forward if youve any SQL experience.

So if your interested and have more questions please contact me

Penny Auction Countdown Time 2

February 16th, 2010 Comments off

I need a simple but robust countdown timer that is very easy to plug in into a custom site. There should be no lag and the countdown timer should update by ‘n’ seconds anytime someone places a bid. The ‘n’ seconds value should be a variable. I can fetch this value from a database later on. This means the page should auto-refresh every second so all users are looking at the same countdown state.

Payment only upon completion of project and my satisfaction. Please dont respond if you require an upfront partial or complete payment.

My deliverable would be a simple php/jsp webpage that I host on a webserver with a timer and a bid button. The page refreshes every second and the timer should be synchronized. I will be testing the page over several machines simultaneously to see if its working.

This is phase 1 of a larger project and I will be assigning more tasks once this is successfully completed.

Countdown Timer With A Twist

January 30th, 2010 Comments off

I am making a sales page – I want to make it a limited time offer…I know there are scripts like this out there, but I haven’t been able to find exactly what I’m looking for:

1. Display the exact date and time (to the second) that the person lands on the sales page.
2. A count down timer, that will start counting down from that time, that cannot be reset by simply refreshing the page – if they leave and come back tomorrow I want the correct amount of time left for that individual. (it’s going to be a 5 day offer). If they are savvy enough to clear their browser history, good on them, I don’t need to make it ‘bullet proof’, but if there is a simple way that’s a bonus.
3. A count-up timer that randomly goes up by 1…so – as a customer lands on the page it starts at 62 (or some arbitrary number), then goes to 63 2minutes later, then to 64 4minutes and 20 seconds later, then to 65 7minutes and 17 seconds later…basically goes up by one at random times 2 – 5 minutes apart. This is to signify orders being sold, with a claim that we only have some ‘limited’ number left…ie 1000.
4. After the timer runs out make the page ‘refresh’ or go to another page where it goes back to the regular price.

The current page is php, and is a replicated site…meaning I have affiliates who will be able to promote this also – if that matters to you. The replicating part is already done though.

This, of course, doesn’t ‘have’ to be done in Java, I just assume that’s how it would be most easily accomplished…but I don’t know.

Once this project is complete, just show me the basics of changing variables, I may want a 2 day sale in the future ;)

Thanks!
Jay

I want a basic flash countdown/timer for my upcoming website.
You can see the countdown on http://ucla.edu

The programmer should be able to provide me with a admin page from where I can edit the time etc.
Example: http://www.layoutcodez.net/countdown/

I want this made within a few hours.
Please make sure NO COMPANY logos or any mode of promotion is not included on the page and on the countdown.

So the lowest bid and fastest service shall get a thumbs up!

Countdown To 100

October 24th, 2009 Comments off

I need an opt-in box built that allows people to find out exactly how many days, hours, minutes and seconds they have to reach 100 years of age, by adding their birth date to the form/so when they hit submit they immediately see a countdown to their 100th birthday? The form would have Name: Email: Birthdate:
So the form would say something like Wanna Know How Long YOU have to reach 100 years of age? Sign up to Receive Info on Anti-Aging Tips! When they opt-in they find out ;-) In other words the submit button releases the live timer counting in real time.
Example of counter at myjourneyto100.com
I would like to be able to add this form to several sites/thanks/jt

Need Countdown Timer

September 22nd, 2009 Comments off

I need a countdown timer that will do three major things separately:

general requirements
———–
not be blocked by any browser(or as many as possible) (or be seen as active x by ie)

will work right in as many browsers as possible

will be customizable (the look) via css

should be in php (preferably) but I am open to other server side languages

the first thing it should do:
——————
VERY IMPORTANT: I should be able to easily enter an amount of days, hours, minutes, or seconds (all of them or just one of them… for example just seconds or seconds and minutes, or all, etc)… the script will take these numbers and count down accordingly…

for example if I put 5 minutes and 3 seconds….. it would count down seconds, 3, 2 ,1 then change to 4 minutes 60 seconds..

when the countdown gets to zero there should be an option to do something (which I can go in and add myself)… again this should be optional

second thing
——————
it should take the current accurate date/time (maybe not from the users time clock but maybe from some time server.. or something)

then it should go back the number of days I enter into the script. and it should display that date in a way I choose… so if I wanted: January 1, 2000 or 01/01/00… it should display it that way.

it should account for short months, and all other things which might through it off. so that when I enter 3 days it really does go back 3 days accurately and doesn’t mess it up somehow (like if the real date was Jan 1 2010 and i want to go back a day it would display Dec 31 2009)

third thing
——————
do exactly the second thing (above) but do it for future times. So if I set a number of 5 it would show the date for 5 days from now, in the format I want
