I have posted this project before, but unfortunately I did not succeed in finding someone who could do this job well enough to my liking. Even though several people made bids.

Background: I wrote a book and I illustrated it by simply lifting a few images from the internet.

Project: Now that this book is being officially published, I want these pictures redraw. Primarily to avoid copyright issues.

In the attachment (MS Word document), you will see the images. They need to be redrawn in such a way that I will not have any copyright issues and that the rendering (= the style in which they are drawn) is consistent (= similar in all 5 images).

Please note:

1. In want them *redrawn* (= drawn anew). Do *not* simply filter them through some graphical filters. The resulting images should be quite similar, but different enough that they qualify as new images.

3. Another option could be – though less likely – to find copyright free images similar to the ones I used, and then make them look similar (to eachother) using filters.

2. Your bid includes transferring the copyright of the redrawn images to me.

3. Please upload one of the images in redrawn form to show that you can do it. If I don’t select your bid, I will not use your work. If you don’t trust me – which I would understand – simply redraw *one half* of one or two of these images. Or add watermarks.

The site must be a unique design, and not a clone of other sites. Almost every webhost seems to use the same script, as they all look very much similar. I want the design of my site to be 100% unique, professional and eye-catching.

Site features must include:

Subscription payment via PayPal.

Auto-creation of hosting account and all features after checkout (TorrentFlux Packages must install the cPanel hosting account, as well as installing the TorrentFlux Client to the users domain).

The feeds render a default meta and feed title and decsription in every instance, I want them to display title that is relevant to the feed being displayed. IE, the Heath and Fitness feed displays Health and fitness feed.

I would like a program/script written in PHP and/or Java (or ANY other language) that will help someone locate instances of copyright infringement on the Internet of documents that the author has written.

This project would be divided into THREE PHASES.

In PHASE ONE of this project, you would develop the core program code. The program would do the following:

1. Search through a specified folder (on a web server’s hard drive) for any Microsoft Word, RTF, PDF, or plain text documents that may exist in that folder (and, optionally, any sub-folders). The software would then take a user-defined number of random samples of contiguous text (i.e., a user-defined number consecutive words) for EACH document in that folder/sub-folder).
a. The user should have the ability to specify the amount of “distance” (measured in words) between the samples that are taken, i.e. the user can specify that the samples are to be taken every 250 words, 500 words, 750 words, etc.
b The user should be able to select the document types that are searched for (Microsoft Word, RTF, PDF, or plain ASCII text documents).

2. The software would then take those samples (strings of text) and query Google.com and/or Docstoc.com (pre-selected by the user) to identify and find any matches (instances of copyright infringement).

3. For any matches are found, the software would then log:
a. the URL of the page on which the match is found
b. the TITLE of the html page on which the match is found
c. the file name of the source document from the user’s local hard drive
d. the date and time of the query in which the match was found on the offending web site
e. whether the match was found on Google.com or Docstoc.com
f. the exact string of text that was discovered on Google.com or Docstoc.com.

4. The log generated in #3 above should then be exportable as a comma delimited text file (CSV file). It should also be displayed on screen. The user will select if he wants to view the report on screen or export to CSV.

I need a Flash animation expert to make one high impact Flash video now. But upon approval of your video you may be invited to join our team of video producers as we require around 500 videos per year. The video required now is 2 to 3 minutes long, and is inspirational in nature, with words flying around and photos moving, sliding, zooming, spinning, etc. (photos must be of high resolution). This is a writing project that involves writing a short informative book. So I’m not expecting something huge – probably 35-50 pages max.
This project should be very simple for someone who is experienced in research/writing.

We are looking for a designer to assist us in making a new generic Ebay advertisement.

We have a sample layout for you to base the new layout on. (We do own the sample layout so there are no copyright issues there). Text will be implemented after we receive the design so you can keep the text from the sample design. We also will provide the color scheme and specific guidelines for the “feel” of the new layout.

We will be in direct contact with the designer to iron out the details so you must be available through Skype.

One of the main facets we lacked from our last designer was a strong design intuition. The winning designer will be provided with guidelines but we’d like to see a bit of creativeness in addition to what we provide. Think of it as us giving you 90% of the information and you being given the last 10% to impress us.

The other thing we were lacking and need is a designer who can go out and find his own photographs that ARE COPYRIGHT COMPLIANT after being given guidelines. Sample guidelines would be “At the top of the advertisement, I need a sharp dressed professional blond woman. Preferably with green or blue eyes.” If under those guidelines, the best picture you find is one that the copyright can be purchased for, we’d be happy to discuss that in person.

In conclusion, we are looking for a designer, not just someone who knows how to put in code. Communication will be imperative.

I need a unique, custom Joomla or WordPress theme designed, coded and installed (in test and live environments). The theme must be plugin/widget-ready and the design should be appropriate for a site related to the MMORPG World of Warcraft. It must be able to support several widgets/plugins. I have a logo that will be provided later, but I am looking for a creative designer to create a simple, attractive, professional looking theme.

The theme should be very ad-friendly and allow for any combination of 728/468 banners, 160/120 skyscrapers and a rectangle ad.

I need the theme designed more as a CMS (not a typical blog).

The front of the site will contain news, articles, a featured video and links. The main feature of the site is our “guide” section (static category and sub-categories).

I would also really prefer someone who can install a script to bridge the database for my existing vbulletin forum site with the new Joomla or WordPress installation so my forum users can log into the new front page using their existing vbulletin logins.
