Magento Product Viewpage Customization

July 17th, 2011 Comments off

Here is the job description:

I would like you to build out my cooking recipes pages and am curious how many hours you think it would take (http://bachelorpad.co/cooking-recipes/).

From a functionality standpoint, here is what I want my site to look like:
http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes-and-cooking/index.html
I want a small area for the image in the upper left, then an area just below that says “Favorite Recipes,” with the links that you see there for Veggies, Ribs, Chicken etc, except I want to use my own categories names. I want to have the top 10 recipes just like this site has, and then when you click on a recipe (http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/tyler-florence/smoked-ribs-with-dry-rub-recipe/index.html) this one for example, there is an area for reviews, total prep time, yield, level, Ingredients and Directions, and also include the area to the right where you can print, email or share the recipe via social media.

Make the cooking section look exactly like this:

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes-and-cooking/index.html

and

http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/tyler-florence/smoked-ribs-with-dry-rub-recipe/index.html

-The most important thing for you to acknowledge when developing these pages is that it needs to be easy for me to change the content in Magento. Please set it up so that I can easily go in and change the pictures, add recipes, and new items to the Top 10 list, etc. I need to be able to manage this on my own.

-Make sure you do not remove the shopping categories on the left side of my site (I need that to remain there).

-You do NOT need to include any of the stuff you see on the right hand side of this site http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes-and-cooking/index.html such as the “Insider Recipes & Cooking” Section, Advertisements, Videos etc.

-Where is says “Top Recipes,” please make it say “Favorite Recipes” on my site. The categories I need there are as follows:
1. Appetizers
2. Soups/Chilis
3. Sides
4. Salads
5. Meat
6. Chicken & Seafood
7. Sandwiches
8. Desserts

-Just below this section, please add a small search bar to search for recipes
Just below the search bar please add a section titled “Spotlight,” instead of where it says Summmer Cooking. I need 3 images listed there just like on http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes-and-cooking/index.html. The 3 titles of the images should say 1. Game Day 2. Date Night 3. Healthy Choice

-The title of the page needs to say “Cooking Recipes” with a image area just below it and a small section to the right for me to write in the description of the image, just as shown on the http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes-and-cooking/index.html page.

Be sure to follow the same guidelines when you click on a recipe such as this page http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/tyler-florence/smoked-ribs-with-dry-rub-recipe/index.html. I need the title of the recipe at the top, tabs for the recipe and reviews, total cook time, yield, level, ingredients and directions. At the bottom of the page (below the directions, I need a button that takes you back to the main cooking recipes page)

When designing these pages, make sure they are the same theme, color etc of my site already.

Recipe For Prime Rib

May 11th, 2011 Comments off

Hi, I would like a high quality recipe/cooking instructions on how to cook a prime rib. I don’t want to just copy another recipe out there, I want an original recipe. You can take parts from various recipes to create a unique one if you like. I want the recipe to include all the ingredients, step-by-step cooking instructions (marinating procedures, cooking times/temperatures, thermometers, etc), and I want it to be very high quality. I don’t just want a simple, short recipe. I want it to be very easy to understand, even if someone has never cooked before, so I would like it to be a very good lengthy recipe with cooking instructions. If you have any pictures that are not copyrighted that you would like to include, that would be great too.

I have about $20 budgeted for this project.

Thank you,
Jason

Assembly Language Project.

I donot think whether this is right forum or not but I am looking for an individual who can help me in a small project of assembly language on a behalf of my friend. Since I am not very much familiar with the micro controller used and have no time to understand the mnemonics of language to do this project therefore I am going to put this for open suggestions at this forum. If you have done assembly language projects before then it wont be a problem.

Website Re-design & Reprogram

August 21st, 2009 Comments off

I need a total redesign of my website http://www.shirleyj.com. Winner of this project must work with my programmer to create a few of the pages to work dynamically (Content management) for adding and editing food recipes and the shopping (products) page must populate dynamically from our mysql database as well.

You must be able to make the new website look like our new print catalog. (see attached PDF’s) Navigation has to be easy and clean. I have a very good idea on how I want it all to work. The winner will receive more design details from me before they start the project.

I have an inhouse programmer who is building the database for a back end CRM (Customer Relationship Management)system and the MySql database that will hold the information for a dynamic products page (linked to shopping cart) and the recipes page. You do not need to do the back end programming for that but I need you to design and code the pages for those sections so they can easily work with dynamic content pulled with PHP from the MySql Data base.

I want to use some of the features from the pilsbury website as an example: http://www.pillsbury.com/

1. I want the rotating big photos of our food on the index page just like the pillsbury site. It must load fast and work in all browsers. I have had other people build similar things that loaded slow and had all sorts of browser compatability issues.

2. I want a recipe search tool.

3. I like the look of the pilsbury website showm above and this one: http://www.campbellsoup.com/

I will supply you with all of our catalog Adobe Illustrator files and I will draw sketches of how I want the site navigation and rough layout. It’s your job to make it all look good.

All the text must be true text and not images. Most of the content for the pages will be taked directly from the catalog illustrator files but modified slightly to work well on a web page.

The navigation could change as we progress but it is basically like this:

Home

Products
(This is a catalog / shopping page that will pull content dynamically with PHP from mysql database.

Shirley J’s Kitchen
(links to cooking demonstration videos, tips & tricks, food shots, and a recipe page that will need to also work dynamically. We need some sort of CMS that will allow us to edit and add recipes.)

Our Company
(Out story, CEO message, contact us form & information, mission statement, etc.)

Community
(Links to blogs, twitter, facebook, and youtube channel. We also need an event caledar that can be opperated from a CMS.)

Our theme or tagline throughout the site is: “Creating Possibilities.” Meaning, creating possibilities for home cooking.

You will need to find some stock photos of people happlily cooking. Other than that, all other photographs will be provided.

The timeline is tight. I need it all done by September 3rd, 2009. So you need to work fast.

Please see attached PDF’s for the look of our catalog and for some hand drawn sketches to get the general idea.

The budget and timeline are very tight for this project. I prefer one person who can do it all rather than a team that is outsourced. I am looking for someone who can do this project well. I will have much more work if I find the right person.

Ten Culinary Articles 50 Dols

August 10th, 2009 Comments off

Are you a COOKING ENTHUSIAST plus an English-speaking writer from the UNITED STATES? Are you new to scriptlance looking for a first review to get you rated? If so just give me more info on yourself, where you live, where you grew up, how much cooking/kitchen experience you have.

I am willing to pay up to $50 for TEN SEO-optimized articles written on food topics that we assign. These articles will appear in one of the top women’s websites in the world (with many millions of visitors every month). Ideally, these will be written by someone who either cooks professionally or an culinary enthusiast who cooks mostly for your family (our readers are the latter). Articles will be on cooking tips and techniques, family meals, backyard BBQ, etc.

I will assign you ten target keyphrases which are the titles of the articles, and you will use the keyphrase and related phrases in the article as instructed (SEO optimization). You will research the topic (read at least three similar articles on the web) and then write at least 500 words on each topic, all original writing.

Here are the requirements:
1. You MUST live in the US and be an ENGLISH NATIVE SPEAKER and WRITER
2. Your Grammar must be impeccable
3. You will be given additional guidelines for SEO writing
4. The article must be at least 500 words
5. Your article must pass copyscape originality check
6. You will upload your article onto our website

Again, I am looking for COOKS or FOOD ENTHUSIASTS who are from the US and WHO ARE ENGLISH NATIVE WRITERS. If I suspect that you are not an English speaker (grammar and sentence structure issues) I will NOT be paying for these articles, and I will give you a negative review for wasting my time, so please do not bid.

I am willing to pay $5 per article ($50 for all ten). After we pay you for these articles, we own them, and you may not publish them anywhere else.

All Bids are HIDDEN/PRIVATE. Please indicate with your bid:
– Where you grew up or were educated
– Level of English education achieved
– Cooking/Culinary Experience (home cook, chef, etc)
– Writing experience

There is a potential for more work after the first 10 articles, but we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

Drupal Cooking Site Redesign

April 21st, 2009 Comments off

I have an existing cooking site http://www.easydinnerrecipes.ca with about 100 recipes in Drupal, and I’d like to redesign the site – I think this means a custom Drupal theme – and add a blog section and a poll.

Most of the recipes have pictures, so we should be able to do something nice-looking.

The best-looking sites tend to be magazine sites like RecipeFeast.com and Martha Stewart.

Cooking And Recipe Website

March 29th, 2009 Comments off

I need a complete website for cooking and recipes. I want to have the following available to users:
* Search Function
* food categories
* weight loss/diet tips
* book reviews
* shopping (affiliate store)

Would need to have CMS database functional for searching recipes. I want to use Google Adsense. I like a couple websites, use these for examples: cooksrecipes.com and allrecipes.com.
