I have a server which I use to host a very high traffic website with more than 60.000 unique users per day. I need a professionel expert optimize/tune Apache and Mysql.
The server is running very fast however during peak hours there is some delay while CPU is not even 10% loaded.
The server has a 8-core i7 CPU Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU W3520 at 2.67GHz
and 24GB ram.
I will install OSCOMMERCE on the server. I will need you to copy a template I have found with a few modifications for it to suit my purpose.

I need a script created with these specifications:
I need to submit entries into a database through a form submission.
The fields will include TITLE, DESCRIPTION, URL, TAGS.
and an image upload box. The uploaded images will be automatically resized to 160 X 120 and saved.
These entries will be stored in database from oldest to newest (like a queue).
I will then need a files or files that can be executed as cron jobs. The first will take the first database entry and place the information in a file called config.txt.
This is an example of config.txt.

The next cronjob will delete the first entry in the database, so the following day it will create a new config.txt.
This will allow me to use config.txt to run several scripts off of.
There can be no files called index.php or config.php in this script so I can place it in the same directory as these other scripts I have.

My php website listyposty.com stop working. It reads the config file and give cannot connect to mysql server error. I checked and mysql server is up and running.
Other websites on the same server are working perfectly: vidvibe.com is on the same server.
Tasks needed:

We use bacula to backup about 40-60 servers.
For settings config files, a bash script is used. It takes info of txt-files (containing namens, passwords, etc).
This script (about 100 lines) needs to be modified, so it also makes different pools for:
1 Full backup per week
6 Incremental backups for last week
Pruning Incrementals after 7 days
Pruning Full backups after 20 day
I can deliver existing script. Knowledge of bacula for backup may be needed.

Here are the instructions
1) Move the code (if it is not already) to a folder in your webroot folder. For example /var/www/telebid.
If you are moving this code to a live server, copy the code into the public_html or httpdocs directory.
2) This step is only needed if the site isn’t accessable from a domain name directly. e.g. www.telebid.com
You need to set up a subdomain to access the site, so that the website URL is telebid.localhost

3) The next step is to create your database and dump the SQL. In the code under /app/config/sql import the
file telebid.sql into your database.
4) Now you need to create your config file. In app/config you will see a file called config.default.php.

5) Now you need to chmod 777 the following directories:
/app/tmp
/app/tmp/cache
/app/tmp/cache/models
/app/tmp/cache/persistant

6) Now you need to create the following Cron Jobs. We use CURL to access the URLs, but contact me if you server doesn’t have CURL installed.
These cron jobs should be set to run every minute, of every hour, or every day. Make sure the cronTime in the config is set to 1 also.
The 4 commands you need to set up are:

curl -s -o /dev/null http://www.domain.com/daemons/extend
curl -s -o /dev/null http://www.domain.com/daemons/autobid
curl -s -o /dev/null http://www.domain.com/daemons/close
If you are running the site on your local host, you can test these things by simply running the daemons directly on another browser
and set the cronTime to say 10 to keep it running.
7) You should now be able to access the website. Register on the website, and your account will be set to admin.
Once you have done this, turn turn the demoMode back to false.

PHP – Dynamic Form via Config File
I like creating config files for my php website pages. By config file I mean a separate file that has variables that are inserted into my pages. This way I just have to edit a config file, and not go into the code of the page.
However I want to take it a step further and be able to edit the config file through a control panel type of form through my browser.
But I do not want to have to manually create the form for each config file I create.
I want YOU to create me a PHP script that will DYNAMICALLY build the fields based on what is in the config file.
This will allow me to:
- upload files (new script and config file)
- set write permissions to config file
- access new script thru my browser.
- edit fields that were generated form the config file.
- click an update button and the data in the config file has been updated.
Does this make sense?

Ubercart installation troubleshooter required to upload a test product and image, then explain how.
Drupal 6 + Ubercart is tricky with images. I know because I’ve installed a test site without clean urls:

As you can see there are no images.
I’ve made a few attempts and my images have shown on the product edit page from which I upload. The move to the server. The program cannot find them. I discover that this directory complexity is part of the culture of Drupal and Ubercart ~ it really doesn’t work properly and only somone used to Ubercart’s problems should bid on this.
The ubercart.org pages list several people who have had similar problems: the image uploads, the program looks for the image, but not in the right place.
I would like someone to upload a test product and image then tell me how I can do the same.
All logins etc can be given.
