Conduct interviews with 2 diabetes reversal experts.

I am writing a book on reversing type 2 diabetes with diet/exercise and need an individual to find and interview two ( 2 )
diabetes reversal experts in either the US, Canada or the UK who have successfully treated type 2 diabetics and reversed their condition. The book will be written for diabetics
who want to reverse their illness naturally, using only diet and exercise and will provide answers to their commonly asked questions.

The job is straightforward, with 3 parts :

(1) Find two (2) diabetes reversal experts who have recently reversed type 2 diabetics of their illness.

I would like diabetes reversal experts interviewed who subscribe to the low carb diet with an emphasis on lowering insulin levels. Some diets that spring to mind are Atkins, The Zone, Paleolithic and Dr Mercola’s Nutrition Plan. As per exercise, this component should model what Dr Mercola promotes – short burst, high intensity workouts – what he calls Peak 8 and include special consideration for people who may not be very mobile. The most important part, however, is that each question asked by the diabetics is addressed as fully as possible by interviewee. Additionally the experts must be very good at what they do (i.e. professionals making a good living) and who entered the industry relatively recently (i.e. within the past 5 years).

(2) Interview the two diabetes reversal experts by telephone. I have a list of approximately 60 questions to ask the experts. I expect each
interview to take no more than 1.5 hours.

(3) Provide me with an MP3 recording of the interview within two days of interview completion.

The successful bidder will first conduct one “test” interview and provide me with the MP3 recording. Further interviews
would be conditional on the first interview going well.

The bidder should have a background in diabetes reversal (personal or professional experience) and should also have experience in
conducting interviews.

The 60 odd questions asked by the diabetics are enclosed as an attachment – please review.

Visual learners? Verbal learners? Hands-on learners? Help test whether our web-based software is effective, and how it varies depending on user’s learning styles. We have web-based software for browsing concept maps. You will help collect data for our study to compare how effectively subjects learn using a normal web page, and a web page using our software

We are looking for someone who is based at a campus or university and has ready access to 10 students/subjects to conduct a usability study. The study protocol and questions are written, all you need to do is spend approx 1-1.5 hours with each student, during which time they will use two web sites, and answer a set of questions. Part of the budget will reimburse subjects for their time.

This would be an easy and interesting project if you are interesting in technology and education, have access to a lot of English-speaking computer users. For example, if you are on a campus, and there is a computer lab in your library, this could be an easy project to conduct. The timeframe is approx 4 days, if you do 2-3 tests a day, it would take a few afternoons or evenings.
