We need accounts, profiles, people can favorites a club and message to eachother and there is a news page.
And there should be some admin and newsletter feature.

It’s not going to be super complicated because we want to start out simple.
There is NO design needed because we have that already.

I am looking for designer/developer to make a website which will be similar to www.modelmayhem.com. Design needs to be changed a little bit. There will be no paid subscriptions/memberships. All users will have some limitations (like basic subscription on modelmayhem). Some content will be modified a bit (extended profile type). I will need something like a backend system to manage users.
If the project works well, in the future i will be looking forward for further development of the website with the person who created it, so don’t miss out… It is a long term relationship.
Very important thing is that the final version of the website must be in a different language. I will take care of translation, but a website you make must be not very hard to translate (I have basic web design skills, so it will not be a big issue).

Some background info on the site:
I will be starting a non profit site that is catered a certain group of people in need. So I would like the site to look warm and inviting.

This project could essentially be split into 2 parts.

1. I would like a complete clone of the Fmylife.com(excluding the store) inclusive of all the features including the little aesthetic menus that slideout when you click on submit.

Must have the “top FML” and “flop FML” sorting feature. Should be able to sort be day, week, month, year or all time.

“Submit FML” feature should create a new WordPress post. The post would be able to be created by guests and have a character limit set by the admin.

A “moderate FML” area should give guests the ability to moderate FML’s. Should be able to turn this option on and off.

Categories would utilize the WordPress category functionality.

There will be a max character limit for posts and it will count down as you type.

I would still like to be able to use wordpress on my end to post articles and news information.

It would be nice if you could make this like a sort of a WP plugin something if its possible. We can discuss further on this later.

2. I would like a WP theme which will be applied unto the “confession” portion of the site but yet also allow me to feature articles/writeups/news that i would post for my site’s viewers.

- i would like the theme to mirror http://www.kineda.com/ except i would like it to have warmer colors such as peach/beige etc.

- i would like it to be minimalist simple.. little images used. menu to be in text + css.. that kind of stuff.. please feel free to experiment around the color scheme and framework doesnt have to stick closely to the sample i uploaded.

i will definitely need more than this in the long run so i guess if it goes well i’ll be sticking to one guy.. thanks for your time. cheers.

This would probably have to work on a “join music lobby” basis so that the members can join/make a lobby (with password if need be), and then there friends can join and play.

Chat function and vocal needed.

Some one has made a free programme that does just this but you have to download and install in order for it to work. I dont mind if there is a programme but the lobby is essential.

Maybe add a “concert” function where a group can play for money? just an idea…

In need of a developer to work on a local Community website.

We already have a corporate brand (logos, copy and photos sized and saved for web), we have design ideas for the website and have organised sections and pages 40-60. (We will send designs and site wire frame to hired programmer).

The site will need contact forms, links and a newsletter sign up feature. Will need some kind of content management system that will allow us to edit images and text as well as create admin users.

We are flexible and open to suggestions with regards to what are the best technologies to use. We are looking to work with a friendly experience serious developer.

I would love to see my site as a dating site although not like the dating…. not for people to meet on it (not a first priority) but to classified peoples account into the church communities, so that people would know t what church they are member of and the primary reason of this site is to grow spiritually… also share with each other what they have learned in the church particular day… make some required bible reading and quizzes…. I just have a great idea but don’t know how to make it real (to programm it)… The idea is a community where users can upload content and other users can review, comment and add subjects to it. There should also be a search feature to search the content. The site should be in German and need all the regular community features (log in, user profile page, section pages, group pages, etc…). I have some general ideas of layout etc, but you are free to start and discuss changes with me. I have some example homepages to give you a direction. I have already bought a domain but you should help me in terms of server capacity, etc. The last step would be search engine optimization and links. I need an community website building that lets visitors read the first paragraph of an article of information, but then has a ‘read more’ link that takes them to a subscription page where they sign-up in order to get access to all information.

The site will need 2 types of users. Those that can upload information (suppliers), and tghose that want to pay to read the info (users).

I need a professional with EXPERIENCE to help me start building large community website using Joomla or something else (advise would be appreciated). The community is supposed to be very large scalable with main features:

1) user registration

This is a small proposal but I wanted to inform you of a project we are looking to have complete. I will send a larger scale proposal once complete

Objective.

The idea of the website is going to be used for users to organize Sports leagues or “pickup” games. A regular user will be able to signup or login to our website, and based on their demograph, (postal code) join a sports league in a specific sport. The average user will also be able to create a leauge at a specific location or a location from our database in that city and have other users signup to that league, they will aso be able to “invite” others into the league, using social tools. We also need the ability for a regular user to create “Venues” which will be included in the League database.

Thats pretty much the sum of the website, the website will need the basic functioning features but we can div into thoughs in our “Final” proposal.
