Magento Add Shipment-status Column To Shipment Grid

Add the “shipment_status” column from sales_flat_shipment to the shipment grid (Sales->Shipments)

1. The DB will have a numeric value in “shipment_status” that shows the status – i.e. 1=delivered Null=un-delivered, 2=returned etc.
2. This status number has to be enumerated to show the actual status – ie. 1=delivered Null=un-delivered, 2=returned

Don’t need any admin interface – just the php and xml override file.

Make Column Heights Match – WordPress.com Site

I have built a customized site (using CSS) on WordPress.com for a client. It can be found at http://cathymartinconsults.wordpress.com. I need the height of the columns to match up on all pages of the site, no matter which column (the blue left column, or right white column) has more content.

Urgennt- I Need Formula Or Macro For Find/replace In Excel

I have an excel sheet with first names and gender data in different columns. the problem is —-but some gender info is blank. i want to attain values to gender data like 1 or 2. if male=2 if female=1. and i know that mary is female ad mike is male.

so i need to post a value to the gender of a person if name is x. for example if gender column= blank, and the name column = mike then gender column write gender= 2 as gender value.

File Rename Using Excel

We will add a link per class “Teach” same place as “sign up” this will take instructor to the page for roster for that class. Column one:Sign in is title of column “signed in” or “not signed in” student can use password to sign in on instructor tablet. They verify mailing address and name spelling and click sign in. This will date and time stamp when they sign in and return to roster for next student to sign in.
Column two: Adult Skills is title of column, next to each student check box for “pass”, “remediate” and “N/A” click on to test skills at end of form check pass, remediate or N/A it will take you back to roster or you can click back if needed
Column three: Child Skills title of column, same as adult
Column four: Infant Skills, same as above
Column five: written test is column name, this is where you show score from test and test version example “90%Ver. B” or “not taken”
Column six: course evaluation is column title, show as “complete” or ” incomplete”

At the end of student names list will have a “Add student” button to be able to add a student who is not on the list.

2. Student login page:
A. For each class they are signed up for they can click on “Sign in to Class” this is only available on the day of class.(Image:USER Profile.PNG) When they click this it signs them in to class. They must verify mailing address and name spelling and then click “sign in” this time and date stamps and updates instructor roster to “Date and Time Stamp” then the student sees only their six columns with links for all skills Adult, child and infant and Test and evaluation. ( like Image: User Class History.PNG)
A1. Click “Adult Skills” this shows the adult skills with check boxes for that student. At bottom it shows “pass” and “remediate” “N/A”
A2. Click “child skills” same as above
A3. Click “infant Skills” same as above
A4. Click “test” probably easiest to have a list of tests to choose from instead of creating an association to class name. what do you think? I have multiple tests. They can select one of these “Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider” “Advanced Cardiac Life Support” or “Pediatric Advanced Life Support” from a list and then they select version A or B then start 25 or 50 question test with multiple choice a,b,c,d and submit at end. It grades per answer key and presents them with pass or fail. Example “Pass Version A 96%” or “Failed Version A 80%” then links to “Remediation”. Shows them missed questions and refers to page in book to find correct answer. Example “Missed question 1 you answered A correct answer B refer to page 23 in book for answer.” at the bottom they can elect to take “version B” or go home and study to take test another day. If they took version B for first test then they have to take version A for retest.
A5. Click “Evaluation” takes them to course evaluation linked to this class. Auto populates class name, instructor, date and location. They answer questions and add comments click “submit” at the end. This survey will be emailed to the student and logged into database for quality improvment.

Instructor roster will update with all this info when student completes sections. When student looks at class history they can click on class details and see six columns only as information ( signed in time and date, skills adult/child/infant , test score, evaluation)

3. Admin for survey info
A. Need to add survey questions. Attached PDF of evaluation(BLS Course Evaluation.pdf). This would be accessed via student login. When the student is logged in to profile they can attend a class they have signed up for.(Images:User Profile.PNG and will look like User Class History.PNG but with only the one class Showing and having live links) Then they will be able to eavaluate that class. Instructor can see if student has completed on his roster.
A1 main menu select “course evaluations” will result in these choices
– manage “Evaluation Questions”
– Sort by “overall status”, this shows all evaluation answers for all instructors and classes and locations
– Sort by “location”, shows by location
– Sort by “instructor”, shows by instructor
– Sort by “class name”, shows by class name
A2 “evaluation questions”
– question groups ( Instructor, Location and Equipement, Class Content, skills mastery, optional questions)
– “add question” all get rated from 1 Strongly Disagree to 5 Strongly Agree or N/A
– add a comment box at end of each question group

4. Admin for test:
A. “Add Class Test” I can add test name example “Advanced Cardiac Life Support” enter number of questions example “50″ then generates 50 rows for text version A and B. Each row has a,b,c,d and page number box ___. When I set this up I select correct answer and enter page where it is found in book. If it is easier I could create test name ” Advanced Cardiac Life Suport Version A ” and “Advanced Cardiac Life Support Version B” I will only have to do this once every few years.

5. Admin for skills:
A. Main menu manage “Skills Test” this is where we add skills check list. Like modules different class names will have certain skills associated with it. From main admin when you select “Skills Test” you get to a list of skills tests. “add skills test” then you can add steps with check box or text box. If you prefer I can just have you create these as I do not need to change these but every 5 years.
a1. “add skills test” in this menu you can add steps. examples “step 1″ details of this step and select use check box “step 2″ details of this step and then a text field option instead of a check box. We continue to add steps for that skills test. Some steps require a time log. Two Dimensional Tabel Look-up For Cms System

We need 2 almost identical functions for our homepage.

The first function, needs an input of 4 digits from a field on the viewed page, which the viewer provides by entering his information there.

This entry is then searched for in the first column of an underlaying two dimensional look up table, consisting of 1252 Rows times 3 columns, residing on the server (NOT part of the viewed page).

When a match is found, the function looks up the relating entries in the same row and use them according to the following description:

The second column contains a name of a town, which is then going to be displayed in a seperate field on the page, next to the input.

The third column contains a number, which is then used in a simple mathematical formula, on fixed entries in fields of a vissible table on the viewed homepage itself. The formula could be: fixed value in the 1st column of a displayed table / 1000 * FUNC:Irad (Irad being the output from the lookup function).

The table must reside on the server for the homepage. We can upload such files at will, under the current CMS system, as we upload pictures and/or pdf files. The name of the file being the same as we call the function that it refers to ie: Irad (suffix “.dat” or “.tbl” or whatever)

Town: LLookup(Entry;Irad.A1:A1252;2)
Irad: LLookup(Entry;Irad.A1:A1252;3)

The function List-Lookup (in Open Office Calc) finds the row where the Entry match the content in the first column, and then looks up in the same row the referred column (ie: 2 or 3) as described above.

The underlaying table could be either a comma file, a calc sheet or a database, whichever is preferred by the programmer.

We should ofcourse be able to use this function call for every entry in the vissible table that we want to, simply by calling it’s name as part of the formula for that entry.

The actual programmed functionality must not be present with the viewed page, but must reside on the server, so it cannot be copied by a viewer. Therefore it might presumeably be necessary to have a virtual button on the viewed page that says “Calculate”

The next function is basically similar, but requires the user to enter two values.

Angle: 1-360
Tilt : 1-90

The underlaying table for this function then contains 360 rows of each 90 columns, and is called: FUNC:Coeff

Angle can be used directly to access the relevant row, and Tilt used to enter the correct column of that row, for the resulting value.

The result is then again used in a simple formula on each entry of the last column in a vissible table, by just calling the function name: FUNC:Coeff x entry

It would be nice, if the fomula could just be entered as shown above, in the respective field of the table.

If there is any additional questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

We want the solution to be as generic as possible, so the same concepts can be used in various contexts.

It seems to me a fairly simple programmingtask for a skilled programmer, either in Javascript or whatever.

Quick WordPress Page Template

Hello,

This should be quick and easy for somebody who knows what they’re doing.

There are 2 options here (pick whatever is easiest for you).

**Option 1: Create a ‘new page’ template.

I’m looking to create an individual page template to insert into my wordpress theme so that when I create a ‘new page’ this template is an option to display.

-I want the left-hand column to resemble the landing page at amazon.com (see pic attached with red circled).

-I want a 2-column layout in my theme … where the right hand column with widgets is universal throughout my theme and NOT affected by this individual page template.

-The left hand column is the ‘paper’ effect (see .zip attached).

**Option 2: Tweak the theme .css to apply that paper effect on the left hand columns (blog postings, full width, etc…)

This one is probably easier.

Project to begin now.

WordPress Site And Widget Customizations

I have a WordPress Genesis theme with the “Manhattan” child theme already loaded on my server and I need someone to make a few minor customizations and common widgets added as seen in the attached page mockup, and detailed below. If you compare the theme demo at http://www.studiopress.com/demo/manhattan.html you’ll see this should be a very easy job, so I need someone who can make the minor homepage changes to match exactly what is seen in the mockup, including the minor change to the menu font size, addition of the lower duplicate menu, and social icons. Aside from the four media boxes below the page fold, I need the homepage to be a perfect match to the mockup.

As for the four widget/media boxes, here is what I need you to do, including related WordPress customizaitons:

Colum 1 (Videos): I’d like this to be a left/right scroller that captures thumbs from the youtube videos added to all posts in a category to be titled “nicole music videos”. When a thumb is clicked, it will open the post that contains the matching youtube video.
I need all posts in the “Nicole music videos” category to have the full lineup of videos in that category to show below the post content in the format of Title/Thumb/exerpt as seen here: http://www.studiopress.com/demo/manhattan.html (but disable the comments option for all posts)

Column 2: Assign this block to a page tltled “Captivated” that will generate a thumb/image from the 1st image on that page. The thumb and the title will both link to the page

Column 3: I need you to suggest the best music player widget that can be color customized and shaped to match the size of the thumb in column 2. The songs and playback options need to be easily edited in the WP dashboard, and should offer buy options if possible.

Column 4: Very simple… the Facebook Connect widget shown in the mockup is already available, so I need you to find it and customize it to fit that space to also match the size of the thumb in column 2. You will link this widget to http://www.facebook.com/NicoleCMullenMusic

Issue With Custom Design

Below is a run-down of what the site does as it’s been a while since you have had to work with it…

Currently at www.BookItBuyback.com

You enter ISBNs for books or UPCs for DVDs, VHS Tapes, CDs, Video Games, or Software and click ‘Get Prices’. You get an instant quote on the next page. These prices come from Amazon and are based on the rules we have set up in the admin section at www.BookItBuyback.com/admin (log is admin, password is aaron). It looks at the lowest 1, 2, or 3 prices on Amazon (based on the ‘# to consider’ column) and then the rank of the item on Amazon (if it’s a DVD with a 48000 rank then it looks at the ‘up to 50000′ row) so it knows to consider the bottom 2 prices. Call for further explanation. It would be much easier to understand over the phone.

Currently, there are several problems. Firstly, VHS Tapes, CDs, Video Games, and Software are all being quoted as DVDs for some reason (DVDs are quoted as DVDs and Books are quoted as Books… all other categories just think they are DVDs). Amazon has a separate catalog for each product category and when our site checks the UPC on there it sees what product catalog it’s in so that it knows what set of rules to use for pricing. You can see how the site is creating the quote in detail by entering an ISBN or UPC into the ‘Debug Pricing’ field in the admin area (see login info above). Doing this you can see that all of these categories are coming back as DVD. This worked at some point in the past but clearly isn’t now and I have no idea why; I don’t know of anything that could have been changed that would affect this.

The other issue I mentioned over the phone. Part of the pricing rules is that it says, based on the sales rank, how many of each particular item we are willing to buy. If you look at the book pricing rules, for example, you’ll see that if the sales rank is under 10000, then we are willing to buy a ‘Max Quantity’ of 12. I would like that setup changed to the following:

We need a set of columns that lets us multiply the original quote amount by a percentage to get a discounted amount that we pay for increasing quantities, namely: 31, 26, 21, 16, 11, 6, 3, and 2. So if the ‘Max Quantity’ is set to 20 and someone types in 25 for their available quantity on the site it will say, “We are currently only buying 20 copies of this title from any individual/family/group/business in a 60-day period” and we will show what we are paying for the 20 copies we are willing to buy. That’s pretty much how it works now except that we will need it to show the decreasing amounts that we are paying for the copies, based on the percentages in the columns for 2, 3, 6, 11, 16, and 21. So if we have .9 in the column for a quantity of 2, .85 in the column for 3, .8 in the column for 6, .75 in the column for 11, .7 in the column for 16, and .6 in the column for 21, then it will pay the original quoted price on the 1st copy ($35, for example). Then it will show that we are paying $31.50 for the 2nd copy ($35 x .9), $29.75 for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th copies ($35 x .85), $28 for the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, an 10th copies ($35 x .8), $26.25 for the 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th copies ($35 x .75), $24.50 for the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, and 20th copies.

We also need a way to link up our current inventory with our buyback site. I’d love to have a separate part of the site that has all of our inventory listed and available for sale with a cart system, etc., and full integration into Monsoon. Andrew, I know you have done something like this in the past. However, I would like the buyback part of the site to check our current inventory when getting a quote so that it can consider that when giving the price. Basically, if we have 10 copies of a book in stock someone tries to get a quote on that same book I would like the buyback quote to reflect that by offering less or not buying the title at all. This can be added later. I really want the BuybackExpress.com site live before getting into this… but I thought you might want to know about it anyway in case it affects any other programming.

Oscommerce – Change Css Style Of Column Left

Scrape Links From Twitter. Link With Bit.ly

Baically need to scrape links from twitter a/c assign defined domain shortcuts to those links using bit.ly and put all those in spreadsheet..including the QR code & image.

So, the results would be the text of the tweet in one column, the underlying URL in one column, the new iBoxy shortcut URL in one column and the QR code image in the last column.

Excel Image Import Based On Cell Contents

I need an Excel expert to write the code that will import into an Excel Spreadsheet an image from a folder.

I have a product catalog that is updated from an external database and when I open update the catalog in Excel, I need it to update with its images located in c:Pics

If there is a filename in Column A then the images needs to display in Column K, the size of the images needs to set within the code. If there is no name in Column A then no images is to loaded into the Excel Spreadsheet.

Split Field In Excel Spreadsheet

I have an Excel spreadsheet with a Contact column that has the contact’s full name and title, like this: John Q. Doe, Director of Marketing.

I need three new columns created with the data from this column: a First Name column, a Last Name column, and a Title column. So in the case of this row, the First Name = John, the Last Name = Doe, and the Title = Director of Marketing.

Notice that (1) any middle initials and the periods after middle initials are eliminated, (2) the comma after the last name is eliminated, (3) if commas or periods occur in the title, they should not be eliminated, and (4) in the newly created fields, there should be no spaces after the data.

There are 725 rows in the spreadsheet.

Create WordPress Shortcodes To Work With Woo Themes

I need three shortcodes to work with Woo Themes’s Feature Pitch theme.

Modify 22 lines of code into a short code. I managed to turn the code into a shortcode myself but the output shows at the top of the page because I used echo rather than return. Your job is to convert the 22 lines into a shortcode that I can output anywhere on the page. Additionally, I need you to add the shortcode attributes into the code. See attached woo code I need converted to a shortcode

I need a series of small related shortcodes that will create the identical output as seen in the attached file.

The key requirements are:
1 – I need to be able to call a shortcode from within a shortcode.
2 – No tables

Basically, instead of using s single shortcode like this:

I want to use do this instead, so that I can change easily change the order in the output, i.e. if I want the title over the image or the title under the img, etc.

As you see in the attached screen capture, I want a basic two-column layout with the image in the left column and the rest of the attributes in the right column. However the left column need to autosize to the height of the right column so the image will vertical center to the left content no matter what the height of the right column is.

I will provide the basic naming and css requirements such as shortcode names, padding, margin, etc.

All together this should take 1 to 3 hours to complete so no crazy high bids. I am can modify code a little but I am not a functional coder at all but I not know to supervising coders and what it takes to get a job done. This is a easy and small job.

Css Layout

This should be simple.. I have a website with 2 column, and need to extend into 4 columns, 1 extra on the right and 1 extra on the left, with ability to add widgets to both extra sides.

Time Recording System

Accountancy Firm requires a time recording system (Similar to old Sage Time and Fees).

Staff should be able to log-in with integrated multi-user access. Column with a drop down menus for clients (Need an add on function for new clients), column for time spent on tasks (units of an time in 15 mins intervals), column to write detail of work completed, Column for Rate/Charge per hr (Need an add on function for different price levels for different types of work), Column for Date, Column for User (Staff) ID, Column for Running client total, Ability to enter enter adjustment to clear outstanding amount once bill/fee invoice raised.

Custom Google Analytics Report Creation

We require some one who is good with creating custom google analytics reports to help us in prepration of a customized report.

Regarding Analytic report, here is what I am looking for:

Create column for visitors from United States beside “new visits” and another column for “% Visit” corresponds to visitors for United States.

Example:
A row for a keyword has a total of 135 visitors globally. I am interested to know how many visitors out of 135 came from United States, which needed to be displayed beside column having 135.

The next column need to show what was the % of United States visitors in compare to total visitors for given
keyword.
Example: Suppose there were 81 visitors from United States, which makes 60% of total visitors of 135. The new column should display this percentage.

I Need 400 Article Submissions

Hi guys. I need someone to submit 4 articles to 100 websites each. I will provide the list of articles. In case some of these won’t work anymore, you must replace them with good article websites. You will also have to create an account on these websites, using the email I’ll give you.

I expect to receive 4 .xls files, one for each article, containing:

column 1 – website
column 2 – category where you’ve submitted the article
column 3 – exact link where article has been approved
column 4 – username/email used
column 5 – password used

I expect 70% of the websites to accept the articles in 10 days (usually I get around 80-85% of the websites doing this, if not more).

I am attaching you a file with a sample file of a recent articles submission (your files should look the same, except they will also have columns 4&5 completed as needed).

You will send me the 4 files once you have submit them, and again the updated 4 files once you verify them after 10 days.

Please send me a message in PBM and let me know how soon you can do this. I need a cheap & fast submitter (whoever helps me with this has the possibility of future work, including also directories submissions, social bookmarkings etc).

I have a simple project for any programmer familiar with Excel spreadsheet formuls.

I need a bank ledger made that will automatically keep tally of balance debits and credits.

I want it in this format

WHere any amount entered into column 3 will be subtracted from Column 5
Where any amount entered into column 4 will be added to Column 5

I need it to work just like you are using a check register.

Software Utility/macro To Make And Submit Rss Feeds From Lis

The application will read a list of web page URLs from a file, go through each row by row, check that they contain a specified link within that web page, get rss feeds from them by means of the Feedage website (needs captcha bypass, for which I have an account at the two main services), then process these into a smaller number of rss feeds from the bulkping.com site, submit these to rss aggregators, put these into a ping site to ping them. The application stops after x number of Feedage feeds have been processed, x being the number input by the user at the start.

The application or utility will emulate a human worker, but it will be much quicker and without the boredom!

This project is in 3 stages which I have divided into 3 milestones for the sake of clarity.

Milestone 1

The user will input a file to the software.

Input file contains a list of web page address URLs in column A. The software will read the input file and check whether or not a link exists on that page (which is given in each case in column B). If the link is present the software writes ‘Found’ in column C. If the link is not found the software writes ‘Not Found’ in columns C.

The application will use a timer which pauses for a random number of seconds between each row.

The software will continue until there is no more data in column A.

The software will be capable of processing up to 4 files at the same time, and will output the completed file with the results.

The software will report on the progress that is being made in each file in real time.

Milestone 2

As above, except that instead of the software writing ‘Found’ and ‘Not Found’ the software will, for all web pages on which links are found, go to the Feedage website and get an RSS feed (entering a capture is necessary for this: I have an account with Decapture and Death by Captcha). The software will write the URL of this feed into column C.

The software will get x number of RSS feeds from Feedage, where x is a number which is input by the user when the file is input, prior to the running of the process.

If there is nothing in column B then the utility should get the RSS feed for the web page in column A anyway.

Milestone 3

As above, and additionally, every 20 Feedage feeds will be put into http://www.bulkping.com/rss-feed-generator-creator/index.php and turned into a Bulkping feed; this shall be written in column D.

This feed is then submitted to the RSS aggregator by using 950buy.com (all inputs in that process will be supplied on the input file).

This process will continue until the number of Feedage feeds is equal to x. If there are any Feedage feeds left over they, too, are put into http://www.bulkping.com/rss-feed-generator-creator/index.php and an additional Bulkping feed derived.

For all web page URLs for which links are found, all these are collected into a list and put into http://www.bulkping.com/ for mass pinging by that system. The Feedage feeds are also put into http://www.bulkping.com/

Finally, all Bulkping RSS feeds are added together, and the website feed’s own RSS feed (if supplied) and put into http://www.bulkping.com/rss-feed-generator-creator/index.php to produce a ‘master Bulkping RSS feed’. This is written in Column E at the foot of the file.

The Bulkping RSS feeds and the master Bulkping RSS feed is also put into http://www.bulkping.com/ for pinging.

The process will stop.

Hello,

I need someone to digitise text from hard copy. Attached are 3 files that will explain what is to be done…

1. A Word doc – this contains a proforma table. Each column has title and reference number (for your purpose only). The text is to be typed into the columns from images, a sample of which is the next document.

2. An image file – this is a sample of where the text has to be copied from. The image has reference numbers that correspond to each of the column numbers in the Word doc. The numbers indicate which bits of the text go into which column.

3. A zip file- This contains 35 images similar to (2). The reference numbers are not repeated but the layout is identical.

This work needs to be completed within 24 hours.

For this reason I would rather a team than an individual.
