i have a joomla 1.5.3 site running in php 5.2.9 and mysql 5.0.81 …i get around 18-20,000 visitors a day (300-350 at a time) and growing steadily, since there were load issues as mysqld was causing over 35% load most of the time. My VPS RAM – 1.5 GB GARUNTEED (3 GB BURST). The main thing causing problems i believe are slow queries which do not use indexes/proper indexes ..many scripts said that many JOINs couldn’t use indexes properly, so i want a person who can optimize my indexes and queries for optimal performance! (i have the mysql slow query log to help) …also over 42% of the temporary tables were created on disk, even after i kept increase tmp_tables_size in my.cnf which leads me to believe this is because of BLOB and TEXT columns, so this is part of fixing/optimizing queries and indexes! please don’t bid ridiculously high! don’t bid if u dont have sufficient knowledge or don’t believe you can do this 100%, i will only fully pay once i can see(through tests) that ur optimization has worked!

I have a sample Joomla Template I want to build something simliar to it. I need it installed on my site and server. All tables, modules, template needs to be ready on delivery. I would like a system developed for Joomla so that clients can sign up to my website entering information including geographic location, specific dates and other information.

This information then needs to be written into the database and accessable from the back end of the website. Each member gets given a unique code to use when referring their friends. Admin shoud have the ability to add information of discounts to the user accounts upon successful referrals.

The ability to send a group email is essential. So is the ability to group member signups into different categories upon choosing a certain choice at signup.

Also, the system should notify the administrator at 3 months before the date the the user has entered arrives.

4) Data/Files Upload and this uploaded data can be accessed by few users which admin will create from admin panel.

5) The navigation will be like.. for example…

Laws (main link)… on click another page will open there will be list of links… then on clicking any link another page with list of links will open and… then on clicking link the page with content will come.

So its like… Head >>> Subhead page >>> Subhead page >>> Page with content.

2 very very simple project – one already installed joomla template correction, most like 10 -20 min of work!

The other is revsense script, already installed – you have to move from one host to another simple installation and database import to other host thats all.

I have a design which needs to be integrated in Joomla, its about 10 pages website. It will have a members area, where user will gain access after logging. In member area he will be able to buy a product by clicking “buy now” button.

My budget for work is $100-$200, I think a person who knows how to do the job its only 1-2 days job.

I’m looking for someone with the skills to write a piece of converter software that will convert certain tables from the MySQL database from DragonflyCMS (the current software that runs the site) to Joomla 1.5. I’ve looked all over the web and there doesn’t seem to be anything that does this already.

The following tables need to be converted from DragonflyCMS to Joomla:
-All Userinfo (so current users can log into the new site the same way they always have)
-All News Posts (with post dates & “read more” intact)
-All Forum Posts (proper attribution & dates)

There’s other stuff on the site that I do not need (Photo Albums, Additional Random Content) – I’m just looking to port the core functionality over to Joomla.

When all is said and done, what I’d like is an interface where you load your DragonflyCMS MySQL file from your desktop, choose an output name and get a .sql (or .txt or .cvs, whatever’s best) file to import into a Joomla database later.

This is a personal project, so I don’t have much to offer, but I’m also not particularly pressed about time. Thanks for your interest.

Looking for a personal finance/budgeting program for a Joomla 1.5 environment (Community Builder enabled). The program will consist of two simple components. One is a Budget, the other is a Time Value of Money Calculator. Both will have outputs that 1) get printed as document for users to review/print/e-mail and 2) saved to the user’s profile as a file on our server that can be amended but where the program cannot be downloaded.

- input budget parameters (e.g. list all monthly income(s) and expense(s); list all total liabilities and assets); should produce a balance sheet
- determine whether the user is paid on a weekly, bi-weekly, twice monthly, or monthly basis
- determine pay periods (e.g. Jan 1, 15, 29 vs. Jan 8 and 22, etc.).
- determine bill payment schedule (e.g. car payment comes out 12th monthly)
- determine interest paid per period (e.g. 5% annual interest is really 5% divided by 26 periods =0.19xxx% per period).
- this information will then produce an output that will essentially be a monthly payment schedule (e.g. January Pay 1 will go to pay car payment of $xxx.xx, and $xxx.xx toward Visa; Jan Pay 2 will go to Line of Credit of $xxx.xx and Visa of $xxx.xx). The first output will be a recommendation that will 1) list the estimated payout date and 2) allow users to make changes (revise payments). Once the user submits/accepts the figures, the output file (e.g. *.pdf) needs to be saved to the user’s profile so the user can open/print as required.
- as well, the budget information will output something of an amortization schedule based on the submitted payment recommendations. This will provide a balance after each payment along with a blank space next to each balance so that users can input actual figures (in the even they pay more/less that month). This information will also need to be saved to the user’s profile (e.g. *.pdf).
- Users will be able to go into their saved budgets and schedules and make changes as required.

Understandably, the programming itself is not difficult, but we need it work seamlessly withing our site.
