Ruby Twitter App User Accounts

September 1st, 2009 Comments off

The app is already built in ruby some additional features need to be added. The user accounts and billing need to be set up (I would love to see it built into wordpress or drupal if possible).

How it works:
home page loads – Ajax lightbox with
2 buttons:
1. Create a List! (its free) button
2. Not Now, Just looking
(see an example of Ajax lightbox buttons at wefollow.com first page load)

If a user clicks Create a List! they go to a create
account screen which collects
User information and creates an account.
The account is free for 2 months then will be charged $5.95/month after that. When their account is active, they can go through our
list of twitter users and add/delete them from their own customized list. So they can customize a list of twitter users so they only see the feeds of the users that they want to see. The twitter users that we display need to show up in a list that displays the users’ avatar, name, and amount of followers, and can be added or removed with a + or – button (would love to see this work with ajax without a page refresh).

If a user clicks Not Now, the lightbox disappears
and they go to the homepage. The homepage is a ruby app that
lists multiple famous twitter users’ feeds on 1 page. It is broken down into categories based on tags of celebrity, sports, tv, music, religion, politics, etc.

The app and functionality will need to have a design built into it that is being designed now. You are free to do some of the design as well if your design portfolio is good.

Please reply with links to current working websites showing good functionality and design. Please also let me know your location, work and contact hours. I look forward to your responses.

Cms Simple Site Design

June 29th, 2009 Comments off

Hello,

I need a simple CMS website designed (could be done with drupal or WordPress). Turnaround needs to be relatively fast, done being sometime this week.

The only above and beyond features the site needs is a Tell-a-Friend feature, and some kind of contact module (Kind of like the webform module in drupal).

I’ve attached what the layout is to look like. Color scheme should stick to green with blue accents, kind of like this site:

http://www.cgkfoundation.org/

This site will be family themed however, so please keep that in mind for design. The winning bidder will get the name of the site for logo and more details on the design.
