We will like to create an online shopping site where only one product is sold in a day, an exact clone of woot.com or 1daysale.com.

Requirement:

1. The design of the site must have a modern and clean look.

2. Only 1 item will be displayed, however we also need an option where we can display 2 products in the same way, whenever we want. It must also be able to display 3 to 5 related products in addition to the daily deal for cross selling.

3. We need to display the product for a specified amount of time; the item must appear sold out if the set number of available product size is reached. We want a ticking watch to be shown.

4. There will be a small signal next to the product, as the product starts selling the lights go on. Starting with green, then yellow (as the last 5% of the lot is left) and finally when the product is sold out it should be red.

5. All pages must be SEO friendly.

6. We should be able to add products and relevant data sequentially for the whole week, and make them appear consecutively as the stipulated time breaches.

7. User Comments and added information about the product should be allowed.

8. All the content and pages must be controlled via a single administrative page or CMS.

9. User Management would allow typical features plus the ability to send bulk emails to all users.

10. There should also be a small forum, where all users (registered or not) will be allowed. The users can discuss or share small size pics, all pics require Admin approval.

11. User Account must contain Information about products purchased history, name and shipping address.

12. There would be a Forum section for current news stories. Which should allow for both manual and RSS posts and the management of articles.

13. The Payment gateway would allow for all major credit cards and must to be compliant with the payment gateway like PayPal, or any other gateway, to be decided by us

14. Rest of the site must contain with blogs, about us, contest, faqs and policies. Like woot. (don’t require podcast like woot)

This project is referall site that basically emails your friends to be your referrals for them. By referrals I mean job references. The sites design will already be made and each page on the site will look almost identical to the home page, just different text.

The site can be made in Joomla or Drupal. I wanted to do it in Joomla, but my only concern is Joomla is for small businesses, and if it expands and get’s big Joomla may not be adequate.

My company has done many CMS sites, I know what work you will have to do.

REGISTER:
Users can view the site. There are two levels of a reference. The
short version is viewable the full version is not unless registered.

REFERENCE
The processes for a reference are:
1) request
2) write

If you’ve sent out a request — a non user receives an email with a
direct link to write it. They do have to register, but are placed on a
page that allows them to enter a user/pass in addition to the
reference information. The person being referenced has to approve the
reference. On the sidebar it says “Approve Reference” Then it becomes
a reference on your References page. An option is to “hide” a
particular reference at anytime. There is no “delete”.

The client bought a Octazen program in PHP… allowing
users to choose all of their webmail contacts from Gmail, AOL,
Hotmail, Outlook etc…. It’s sort of how twitter is how you enter in your email login and password and it scrolls through your Email account and grabs all contact emails and saves them (I guess).

Users can write a reference for a user or non user. One of the fields
is predictive email. Users who are not a reveral user will get an
email. Users who are will get a Reference request.

Asking a user or non user to write a reference for you.

Reference Page: all users can view a short version of the reference
which is: photo, name, and how they know user. Registered users can
see full version, which is on Reveral.com — it’s all the questions
and fields there.

What Do You Do — users input their occupation in a dynamic field

Client History: users input the following information into dynamic
fields… users can change this on their profile pages for their own
“client history” similar to facebook’s status update.

-location
-reference contact

MEETINGS:
Users can set up an appointment to chat with any user. User can input
email or user name into predictive field. Their profile page, the
sidebar and the reference page all have the “set meeting” button. We
were using Google Calendar… Once you set an appointment, both users
receive notification. A Number placed next to the “meeting”. The
recieving user can change the date of the meeting.

CHAT:
The one challenging aspect here is Meetings are directly connected to CHAT. Once a user sets a meeting
with another user they are added to their CHAT. It’s like being
friended or added as a follower…. there is no approval process for
being added. I don’t know if there is a free module out there that does this. I know there are free chat downloads out there. I’m willing to buy one if you can find one that is perfect for this requirment.

We’ll add options for how many references, requests, chats and more a
user can receive after the core functions are built.

INBOX:
internal email… how users can connect with each other. A number
placed next to the Inbox (1) upon receiving a message.

SEARCH:
Search for user by name, email, user name, location

4hr -searching users who have clicked off the 4hr minimum

PORTFOLIO:

Users input a job, recieve a job listing notification on their sidebar

We are trying to create a tv and movie link portal website where users can find links to all their favourite tv-shows and movies. Some websites that are similar to what we are trying to build are: surfthechannel.com , letmewatchthis.com , tvshack.net

A lot of pre built CMS’s have many of these features built in and may just need editing We are happy to use existing code that you have already created as long as the project meets our requirements.

Links:

Links will be added/updated using a submit form that will be accesses via a link in the primary link menu. When clicking Submit Links you will be then redirected to a page with two options. The options being [Submit Movie] or [Submit TV-Show]

The functionality would as follow.

When you come to this site you would select some criteria to run a query based on someones hair color, then after a generic login/password , you get a list of people with that criteria which would now include a photo, eye color, Eyes, Height, Location, Age, and Ethnicity. I currently have a website www.fastclickgrocery.com It uses magento, and it is too slow. It takes too many steps, and does not function like I need it too. I want my site to function like www.grocerygogo.com, but look like the mock up I have attached to this project. I am open to any CMS that operates as fast as grocerygogo. I do not want someone to design me a “custom” back end. I had someone do this on my first site, and it was complete garbage. My site needs some customization.
1. It needs to be able to have a delivery fee of 3.99, but I will have an option to have Small Wood Plaza apartment complex residents to select free delivery.
2. I need to be able to easily import and export products on the site using excel.
3. I need to be able to raise prices when groceries go up. For example if I need to raise everything in the dairy dept 20%, I need to be able to do so.
4.I need the customer to be able to select a day and time for their groceries to be delivered. These are one hour time blocks 4-5,5-6,6-7 You can see how this is done on my fastclickgrocery website.
5. I need the option of having multiple locations. I will have one location in dallas and one in indiana. I need to be able to tell these orders apart.
