Php Code To Replace All P With Classes

September 24th, 2011 Comments off

I have a field of data within a database which has a bunch of HTML which I need replace. Basically all forms of the following needs to be replaced:

From:

<p class=MsoNormal style=’margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:
normal’>

To:

<p>

Basically getting rid of the class and style etc.

The data changes, so I’m referring to all <p> tags which have classes styles inside them.

It needs to be recursive, searching for all tags which aren’t clean <p> and replace them to that.

Registration Script For Classes

September 13th, 2011 Comments off

Perl / PHP programmer needed:

I am currently looking for a course registration script where employees from multiple companies can go to sign up for courses and/or events. The user will be able to go to our website and see courses within 60 miles of their location. When they find the class they want, they will be able to register and pay for it or charge it to their employer. Upon registering, the user will receive a PDF receipt and a confirmation e-mail for their registration.

On the back end, the instructor will be able to limit the number of students and have a waiting list so when a student drops the course, a new student is automatically registered. Prior to the start date of the course, the instructor will be e-mailed a list of students that are attending. Upon completion of the course, the instructor will be able to certify which students attended and which did not.

If selected, there will be more projects available upon completion of this project.

If you are interested, please let me know and I will send you the complete details for this project.

Dirty Yoga Website

August 22nd, 2011 Comments off

I am creating an online yoga website – where subscribers can take classes I have created online. I need help with one thing in particular. I want to manage the sequence or queue of the videos based on each user and need someone to code this for me. I do not want there to be a library of classes to choose from – but rather I want the classes to be served to subscribers in sequential order: 1 – 100 with all subscribers starting at class one. So once they finish class number 5 – the next time they log on they will be served class number 6. My streaming partner VZAAR has let me know that this can be done within their video platform through the API.

Make Student Database Online

August 15th, 2011 Comments off

We have a Microsoft Access database which I have made for tracking students in various classes we run.

Here’s what I would like to have done with it (if possible) –
1. Make the database online, so that it runs off a server instead of the local PC
2. Make a front-end form that students can use to book into classes and make payments by Paypal (bookings must sync with the database)
3. Make a front-end report allowing students to see the classes they have booked
4. Make a front-end report for class changes or cancellations
5. Change the database to allow a maximum number of students per class, so that it will automatically display as “Fully booked” on the front-end booking form,
6. Set it up to take tentative bookings on a waiting list
7. Calculate a 5% discount for students booking more than 4 classes at once, and apply this discount to the total and thereby to Paypal.
8. Display terms and conditions prior to final confirmation of enrolment.

Also, as a bit more background for the job:
* We already have a basic form with Paypal connection, but it does not connect to the MS Access database, so enrolments have to be entered manually, which is time-consuming.
* Depending on prices quotations/level of difficulty, we may drop off some of the points from 3 to 7.

N.B. We are reasonably tech-savvy, so will be keen to get the system working by ourselves, but quotations MUST include after-service such that the database is fully functional and in use before the final sign-off.

Many thanks. Looking forward to seeing examples of your past work and a quotation.

A Automatic Layout Algorithms For Uml Class Diagrams 2

July 3rd, 2011 Comments off

I would like to complete an application I built but not completed yet. It is a program designed to automatically layout UML classes in SVG using the sugiyama and the orthogonal layout algorithms. I have gone so far but am having issues with the two Java classes that should actually do the work..viz – Orthogonal and hierarchical classes. I have attached research documentations on how this should work. The Hierarchical algorithm is also referred to as the Sugiyama algorithm. Output diagrams of the resulting algorithms are shown in the attached document named “processes”.
I will be most grateful if i can get some help with this.

Scenario/Summary

In a professional, large business application the application will be constructed using a complete object oriented design, where each class is contained in a separate file and typcially a separate namespaces. This is because in professional applcation, there will be 100′s, if not 1000′s of files, thus a well structured and organized project structure is required.

Production software, whether a retail game or a business solution, quickly becomes complex with many different components. The entire project can take months or years to complete. How do software development firms manage the complexity of a major project and allow teams of programmers to develop different parts of the software at the same time? They design the project with classes that can be put together to create the solution, and they organize related classes into different namespaces to manage the many classes involved.

In this lab, we are going to create a Payroll System with different classes and namespaces. We are going to save employee information to a file as the information is entered. We will read from the file and, using polymorphism, we will print paychecks for our employees regardless of their employee type.

You will be given the graphical user interface as a “shell project” and you will then be asked to implement the interface and inheritance hierarchy and classes, and then “wire” in the classes to the GUI. So, the actual programming and construction work is not overbearing as long as you take the time to analyze the UML diagrams, correctly implement the classes, and ensure that you understand that concept of generalized algorithms using the base classes.

Follow these steps carefully to learn about creating large object oriented applications.

Lab Steps

Preparation:

If you are using the Citrix remote lab, follow the login instructions located in the iLab tab in Course Home.
Locate the Visual Studio 2008 icon and launch the program.
You will use Lab 5 as the base for this lab.

i L A B S T E P S

Step 1: Download the Shell Solution
Back to top

Download the Week 7 iLab Shell Project solution.

Extract the project to a known location.

Open up the shell project.

You will notice that all the user interface forms and the classes shells are created, and that the program will build and execute; however, the operations are not functional.

Open up each of the class files and ensure the Comments window is open (Select VIEW|OTHER WINDOWS|TASK LIST, then select “Comments” from the drop down box).

Your task in this lab will be do implement each of the listed TODO comments using the following UML diagram and pseudocode as a guide.

Double click on any of the TODO comments to take you to the block of code that needs to be modified or implemented.

Using the UML diagram and pseudocode implement the missing blocks of code. It is recommended that you start with the Employee class, then work your way through the UML diagram implementing each block individually.

Note: while there seems to be a lot of TODO comments, no single task is more than four lines of code and many are a single line of code. The coding part is relatively simple; if you understand the overall inheritance structure and how the base classes and dynamic binding work.

STEP 2: Realize the UML Class Diagram
Back to top

Realize the following UML Class diagram (take it to code). Notice that the Employee class name and the WeeklyPay( ) method name are both italicized to indicate that they are abstract.

The code for the WeeklyPay methods in the child classes are:
* Hourl(y class
// calculate and return the weekly pay
double pay = 0.0;
if( hours <= 40.0 )
pay = rate * hours;
else
pay = (hours – 40.0) * 1.5 * rate
+ 40.0 * rate;
return pay;

* Salary class
// calculate and return the weekly pay
return annualSalary / 52.0;

* Contract class
// calculate and return the weekly pay
return amount / weeks;

Sharepoint Form

May 21st, 2011 Comments off

I have a series of classes I want to allow people to register for. This form is for an employee to enter participants on this list as they call to request a class so the user registering will not be logged in.

On the form I need the following:

Last Name: Single line of text (required)
First Name: Single line of text (required)
Phone: Single line of text
Comments: Multiple lines of text
Cancellation: ☐ Cancelled (checkbox)

Classes – for the classes I want it to look like a calendar. See attached for more information.

I want the data entered on the form to be populated on a list.

So the list would have:
Last Name | First Name | Phone | Class | Comments | Cancellation
I need the class to be listed with the date so the class column part may have, for example,
June 7th – 8am

Pro As3 Coder For Oop Work

February 22nd, 2010 Comments off

We are in need of a professional AS3 coder to help us with our big project. we will be coding on a team so it’s important to mention some

details:

For a business to be successful, we need to make sure that the team is following the same rules and here I try to explain some of the

important facts that we apply in writting our classes. This does not mean that we know everything about coding and it does not mean that we

are sure this is the best practice neither! As you know, technology in the world is expanding so fast that no one could ever be sure that

they know things better than others but I just tell you the facts that we have been happy with. and it’s very probable that in future, new

rules may be added but as for now, the following structure is the best we have came up with.

To give you a quick insight of the final goal, it’s worth it for you to know that we are going to build up a very big software which will

allow ordinary internet users to build their own flash sites with nice and modern features/tools. and to get to that big dream, we are

building our classes from the very scratch. we have started with some very basic classes like a Bg class, like a button class, like a

scrollbar class… we are also uploading the classes to www.myflashlab.com if you want to have a look at their demo.

take the scrollbar class as an example: http://www.myflashlab.com/2010/01/22/scrollbar-class/ as you see, although this is a scrollbar, but

it’s very complex, almost perfect. it does almost EVERYTHING you might want a scrollbar to do!

Here are the points you need to know:
1) we code AS3 with the help of the free software “FlashDevelop”. not because it’s free but because it gives us a lot of nice features that

FLash IDE doesn’t. Besides that, it will help us easilly use the SVN in our internal network. you must know how to code in FlashDevelop and

how to work with SVN, we’re using “TortoiseSVN”.

2) we use Flex SDK for compiling the codes, currently we are using “flex_sdk_4.0.0.6898″.

3) we carefully write comments for asDoc generator so we can generate html documentations for every class we finish.

4) we write our code with a very careful look at CPU usage because these classes will be all used together in future and if we want the

final product to run smoothly using hundereds of these classes, we must be sure that all small classes are working smooth without using

unnecessarilly cpu. To manage this, we must use the common logic and make sure the class is not doing something unnecessary operations…

just as a simple and quick example, we don’t want to have a Event.ENTER_FRAME to be always running. it just need to work when needed and

removed when it’s not necessary. or for example a “for loop” which is trying to find a “Sprite” in the stage must be terminated as soon as

it found the desired result, and many more samples… the main thing is to make classes run as smooth as possible.

5) For almost all our classes, we add “ADDED_TO_STAGE and REMOVED_FROM_STAGE” listeners so we can make sure we are coding clean and if a

small button class is inside a popup class and the popup is removed, we can be sure that the button inside of it will also be removed

completly and no other process will continue silently in the background.

6) We code our classes in a fashion that we have named it “live approach”, by which I mean you can set properties for the class anytime and

they will work instantly. take the scrollbar class as an example, you can change its dimensions or colors, or any other property anytime and

depending on which property is changed, the scrollbar will be changed accordingly.

7) for some of our classes we build an import/export method. this needs a bit more explanation but as a brief, these two methods, will let

you create a new instance of the class and instead of manually setting its properties, you can export properties from a former instance and

then import them into the new instance. For example in our contact form “http://emstris.com/sample/AS3/forms/contactForm/”, we have used the

scrollbar in three different places, but we didn’t want the user to be forced to set properties for all three scrollbar instances manually,

so they set the scrollbar once and then we use the import/export method to set the properties to all other instances of that class.

that’s it for now :) I have put a very basic project for you which includes all above explaned rules. that should get you started. all I

want from you is to be able to code nice and clean and as OOP as possible.

If you feel ok with these, let me know in PMB and I will send details for our real project that you’ll be helping us with.

and by the way, please send me your best sample code. only send me one sample, you best one.

Best regards,
Hadi

Ci Summer School Registratio 2

A CI website that allows parents to register, and log in. They need to be able to register their child or chidren if more than one. (if that is a problem, we have them make one account per child)

Next, they need to be able to browse the possible classes avaiable to them, ONLY showing them ones that the age of their child is eleable for.

There needs to be some sort of cart function, where they can hold all the classes they want to register for, and then pay with paypal. I already have a paypal account all setup, and was working with zencart.

Confirmation emails need to go to the parents, and to me/administration.

There also needs to be an Admin section where admins like me can view the parents/children registered, what classes they are registered in, and have the ability to update/edit/ and create classes / users.

I’m looking for someone to do some quick graphics for my online classes. I’m just looking for small graphical representations for each of my 10 classes — they all must be consistent — same, yet different.

No crazy stuff — just professional looking graphics maybe 2×3 or some version of that. Source files in .png preferred so I can modify later if needed.

Should be a quick easy job.

Program For Sorting Students

November 17th, 2009 Comments off

Hello,

I would like to hire a programmer for the following project:
- a program needs to sort students in classes regarding selected parameters
- every student has following parameters: name, school he/she is attending, grades, subjects he/she wants to attend (math, physics, chemistry, biology, English …)
- according to students chosen subjects the program needs to sort him/her in groups

Example:
There is 3 groups for math, 2 for physics, 1 for chemistry. Math 1 is from 8-9, math 2 is from 8-9, math 3 is from 12-13, physics 1 is from 10-11, physics 2 is from 10-11, chemistry is from 11-12. The program should put student in physics 1 or 2, chemistry, and math 3. It should be done in this way so that the student doesn’t have a “hole” in the classes.

The recommended way to do this is to make a database with all the students and the program should pick the student from the database and sort them into classes according to given parameters.

I am available for further information and assistance.

Thank you!

C++ Structures And Classes

In C++ with good commenting Define a class for a type called CounterType. An object of this type is used to count things, so it records a count that is a nonnegative whole number. Include a mutator function that sets the counter to a count given as an argument. Include member functions to increase the count by one and to decrease the count by one. Be sure that no member function allows the value of the counter to become negative. Also, include a member function that returns the current count value and one that outputs the count. Embed your class definition in a test program.

Programming Project 1253891004

We are a school using Access 2003 to manage academic data with an applicaton developed in 1995. We need the following updates;
1. Some forms are print only – we need them coded so that they can be viewed and exported/converted to other MS applications – Word or Excel. Fewer than 10 forms
2. We would like to have Word or PDF docs linked to access in some fashion. It would be good to print a .doc syllabus from Access. In addition, have some method of maintaining these links to other docs over time as needs arise.
3. We us ACT as a contact manager. If possible, we would like to import contact data from the ACT data base. Or contact data from access to ACT on a selective basis – one or a few contacts at a time.
4. Currently the Access application allows us to print an enrollment form for one class at a time. Most students enroll for 3 – 10 classes and we would want to print a form (preferable a .doc) that would capture all class names and dates from Access.
5. Most students enroll in a program that includes these 3 – 10 classes. It would be good if these classes could be tied to a program and the output would be for the program with the individual classes as a subcategory.
5. We capture the student’s email address now but it is static data in a field. It would be good if we could email documents, reports, transcripts, etc directly from Access.

Draw Java Uml Diagrams

July 21st, 2009 Comments off

Use the posted Javadoc specification of an arcade game program written in Java to model the program behaviors using the UML standards. Specifically you need to use the notations described in posted UML notes (e.g., see details at http://edn.embarcadero.com/article/31863) for your work. WordPress Moodle Integration

1. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We are a Sunnyvale, CA based company that provides Education to High School Students. We currently offer two versions of our Education course. One is a live scheduled classroom course that allows groups of students to learn together in-person. The other is an online individualized self-paced class that a single student takes on his own time.

In a nutshell this is an integration project using wordpress as the front end and integrating into this, credit card processing, user authentication, Moodle and Dim Dim.

We need a contractor with web site development, LMS, and graphic design skills to convert our existing website to a Web2.0 site, with dynamic content, company blogs, social networking features, and integration with mySpace, facebook, and twitter for sharing content. We expect you complete this task with no code changes to the open source components.

2. HOW OUR SITE WORKS
Our site largely consists of two components: the “company” pages that users are directed to when they first come to our site.
The other component is the “online school”, where students-members are directed to once they login into their accounts. The steps that a user might progress through would involve arriving at our site onto the “company” page, becoming a member by enrolling as a student-member for a class, and finally registering/creating a username/password & entering their credit card information. Once users are registered student-members, they will gain access to the “online school.”

2.1. “Company” Component Details
These are pages that provide static information regarding our company, services, teachers, and other info. This is all available on our current site and can be directly transferred over to the new site. The new site will have additional dynamic content and should have Web 2.0 features. There will also be an intranet area of the site accessible only to employees. As we planning to post blogs and articles for students, we want to implement the site with WordPress, which must seamlessly integrate with all other areas of our site.

2.2. “Online School” Component
Currently, this is implemented in a proprietary manner (i.e. not open source). We are looking to transfer/convert all of our online course material onto an open source LMS, i.e. Moodle. We would like to customize this Moodle part of our site to match the “look and feel” of our “Company” pages. Within this Moodle area of the site, we are considering to add features, such as a Virtual Classroom Software (i.e. DimDim), which will be used for group lessons as well as 1-on-1 tutoring. We would also like to integrate a Social Networking Site (such as Elgg or Facebook Groups). We are also seeking advice as to other learning tools that might be available and easily integrated into Moodle.

3. NECESSARY FEATURES

3.1. Search Engine Optimized
The site needs to be designed for Search Engine Optimization and consistent with our existing Google Adwords Campaigns.

3.2. Intranet
This area will be password protected and will provide static content such as employee policy handbooks, documents as well as training web pages that integrate audio and video content. The training web pages will also have embedded video content streamed from youtube.com university.

3.3. Social Networking
For the “company” component, we want to integrate blogs and the ability for users to post comments. The users should be able to share our blogs thru email, myspace, facebook, linkedin etc. For the “online school” component, we want to integrate an already-existing social network platform

Configuring Amember On Site

June 25th, 2009 Comments off

Hi,

I am about to launch a password-protected membership site, and have recently purchased and installed Amember Pro.

Basically, I’m not good with this technical stuff and all the user guides are basically speaking Martian to me.

I know what I want, I just don’t know how to get it.

I’m looking for someone with fairly EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE with amember to set up what I want, and show me exactly how he did it, so at a later date, I can go in and change some things as I need it.

I’m running a site teaching language online, and each class page is sitting in a different sub-directory under the main directory, “classes.” What I want is this…

1) My user to register for my 20-day free trial. After he registers, he’ll make his own username and password, then he’ll be emailed the link to the first class. Now, it’s important that the user name only has access to that first class for 20 days. Then,…

2) Every five days, a link to a new class will be emailed to him. He should only have access to that class for 20 days as well (basically, he should only ever have access to a particular class for 20 days, which means he’ll only have access to four classes at a time – once the 5th class comes out, access to the 1st class will be gone)

3)If the user doesn’t cancel his subscription, and is emailed the 5th class, his card will be charged for the month. Then,…

4)That process should just continue until the classes run out – which will be at about six or seven months (I haven’t decided yet) – he gets charged every month (or 30 days) as long as he doesn’t unsubscribe, and he’ll have access to each class for only 20 days.

Hopefully that’s clear enough. If you have any questions, please ask. Once again, I’d like only programmers with experience with Amember.

Simple Php For Student Class

June 23rd, 2009 Comments off

Hi,

I need a simple web page where students will login and see their classes with their marks.

There is going to be also a small admin page also where the admin will create the student accounts, create classes and assign marks to the students’ classes.

I don’t mind if you also have a ready solution based on a CMS

No need for exam/test modules. Only marks will be inputted and displayed

To give some more details about the project:

1) No user (student) registration is needed. The admin will register students and teachers from the admin panel and assign them a password

2) Each teacher will be assigned modules that they teach

3) Students will be assigned to classes and departments

4) Each class has 4 different kinds of tests (oral, semi, etc)

4) Each teacher will login to the admin panel and input marks for their students (only for the modules that they teach)

5) Students will be able to login and see the marks for their tests

6) NO online examination is needed

7) Escrow payment is fine with me

Website Imitation

Imitate/copy the (main) functionalities of http://www.wiziq.com/
Specifically, I hope to realize:

1. Classes
1.1. Schedule a class:
1.1.1. Publish a private class which can only be attended by the users invited by me.

1.2. Public a classe:
1.2.1. Publish a public class, which can be subscribed freely by the other users.
1.2.2. The published classes have two types: free ones and paid ones. The former can be freely attended by all users while the later cost fee to attend.

All classes should have the following functionalities:
1) Allow/ disallow/ invite attendees to watch the recordings of your online classes.
2) Classes can be recorded.
3) Whiteboard sharing
4) Documents sharing
5) Desktop &amp; Screen Sharing
6) Video/audio communication

1.3. Search
1.3.1. Search for classes
1.3.2. Search for teachers

1.4. My class recordings: show the information of the classes which I have attended/are forthcoming/are underway

2. My account
2.1. Personal information management
2.2. Contact list
2.3. Mailbox
2.4. Payment management
2.4.1. Online payment via credit cards.
2.4.2. Show the transaction records that I have paid and received.

Please show, if possible, the prospective cost and time distribution for this project.

This is a project that has been proposed by my instructor to help with the understanding of linked lists. this is an extension of another program.

Collection Classes

June 14th, 2009 Comments off

I am looking for help with an Assignment I am working on. Let me know if you can help.

Problem Description:

Create a DOS console application that keeps track of a list of names. Your program should be able to add a name, remove a name at the current position, to concatenate two name lists, to retrieve a name from the list, and to print out the whole list of names in the list.

Implementation requirement:

You are going to use two classes to implement this assignment: TestStringArraySeq, StringArraySeq. The TestStringArraySeq is the application driver class and contains the main() method. The StringArraySeq is the worker class. You have to use sequence collection data structure to implement this worker class. The storage data structure for the collection class should be array. In this class, you need to implement the following methods:

StringArraySeq
public StringArraySeq ()
This constructor takes no argument. It initializes the instance variable manyItems to 0; initializes the instance variable currentIndex to 0, and allocates 10 cells for the arrary data.

StringArraySeq
public StringArraySeq (int initialCapacity)
This constructor takes one argument. It first checks to see whether the parameter is positive. If it is negative, the an exception is thrown. It then initializes the instance variable manyItems to 0; initializes the instance variable currentIndex to 0, and allocates initialCapacity number of cells for arrary data.

getManyItems
public int getManyItems ()
This simple method returns the value of instance variable manyItems. Setters and getters are used to enforce information hiding.

setManyItems
public void setManyItems (int m)
This simple method sets the instance variable manyItems to the value passed in.

getCurrentIndex
public int getCurrentIndex ()
This simple method returns the value of instance variable currentIndex.

setCurrentIndex
public void setCurrentIndex (int c)
This simple method sets the instance variable currentIndex to the value passed in.

addAfter
public void addAfter(String element)
addAfter places a new element after the current element. If there is no current element, then the addAfter method places the new element at the end of the sequence. In all cases, when the method finishes, the new element will be the current element.

start
public void start()
this sequence help method sets the current element at the front of the sequence.

isCurrent
public boolean isCurrent()
this is an accessor method used to determine whether this sequence has a current element. It should be called before calling the method getCurrent.

ensureCapacity
public void ensureCapacity(int minimumCapacity)
this help method changes the capacity of the sequence to the minimumCapacity. This method is only needed if the sequence is implemented using array.

toString
public String toString()
This method returns all a String with the names in the sequence class. Each name appears on a separate line.

getCurrent
public String getCurrent()
this is an accessor method used to retrieve the value of current element.

advance
public void advance()
this sequence help method moves forward so that the current element is now the next element in the sequence. Before calling this method, you should call isCurrent() method to make sure that there is a current element. If the current element is the last element, then after calling this method there will be no current element. Otherwise, the new element is the element immediately after the original current element.

removeCurrent
public void removeCurrent()
removeCurrent removes the current element from a sequence. Before invoking this method, you should call isCurrent() to make sure that there is a current element. When this method is called, if the current element is the final element, then after the removal there is no longer a current element; otherwise, the new current element is the one that used to be after the removed element.

concatenation
public static StringArraySeq concatenation(StringArraySeq s1, StringArraySeq s2)
concatenation method creates a new sequence that contains all the elements from the first sequence followed by another. The resulting sequence has no current element. The concatenation is somewhat similar to the union of two bags. This method is implemented with static method. As a general rule, the methods that operate on two collections are usually implemented as static methods. This is because of the reason that static methods are able to handle parameters that are null.

clone
public Object clone()
the clone method returns a copy of this sequence. The return object should have separate memory space. Subsequent changes to the copy will not affect the original, nor vice versa. The return value should be typecast to a StringArraySeq before it is used. Since the current element is not specified, you can set currentIndex of the returned object to any value.

getString
public static String getString(StringArraySeq s, String target)
This method returns the first occurrence of the target string in the sequence class. If there is not such a string, the method returns null. To implement this method, you must use the following methods: start(), isCurrent(), advance(), and getCurrent(). If the target is fund, you should set the currentIndex to the position where the target is; do nothing to the currentIndex otherwise.
Note: you can learn how regular methods use static methods from this.

removeString
public boolean removeString(String target)
This method removes the target string from the sequence class if it exists (first occurrence). The method returns true when the operation is successful and returns false if the operation fails. If the removal is successful, the following element is set to be the current element. If there was no following element, then there is now no current element.
Note: suggest to use getString(), removeCurrent() methods.

You can reference all the methods in the bag collection class and the supplement note 3. Most of the methods of the bag class and of the sequence class are almost identical, but you need to be careful for those that are different.
I suggest you to use the following class instance variables for the sequence class:
data

Java Application Design

June 9th, 2009 Comments off

I need design documentation for a simple Object-oriented Java application that will manage .jpg photos – Need the following design documentation, no code required:
# System Overview
Provide an overview of the system in this section, detailing the subsystems and modules of your system design.

# Design Description
This section presents the architectural design of your system. Data Flow/Structure, Object Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, etc. Describe the important data flow paths or class diagrams of your design.

# Subsystem and Module Specification
Specify the design for each subsystem and module in your software system. All functions should be described in detail. (Detail means providing a brief description of the subsystem and more detailed information about the modules including a processing narrative, a description of the interface(s) associated with this module, references to other modules used by this module, any data structure internal to the module and any additional information (comments, restrictions or limitiations) about the module. Feel free to use diagrams in this section to help describe the subsystems/modules. Very high-level, English-like pseudocode is fine — this does not need to be specified in a programming language.

In other words, your class diagrams describe the classes in the system. This section should tell the reader what those classes do and what other classes they collaborate with to accomplish their goals.

# File Structure and Global Data
Describe any information pertaining to database requirements and the types of data which will reside in the database. (Identify data, describe organization of data, specify types of data, note any constraints or valid/invalid ranges of data and any other information you might deem important! This data might be data maintained in a file, database or in common memory.)

# Interface Design
Human-Machine Interface Specification
For example: GUI designs
External Interface Design
Interfaces to External Data
Interfaces to External Systems or Devices

Internal Interface Design Rules
Rules that specify how modules, functions, methods, etc. interface with other modules, functions or methods.

Requirements for application are attached.

Java To Php

I have some quick and easy work in PHP I need done. I’ve written a few Java classes for a library, and I need them converted into PHP for a matching PHP library. I’m not familiar enough with PHP to do it easily.

Here’s the details of the work:
5 classes
3 of these classes are straighforward JavaBeans with only getter/setter methods
1 class is a utility class with 6 methods, 4 of which are nearly identical (they return an int, double, long, etc.)
1 class contains all the main functionality (280 lines of code)

- There’s a main() function in the main class which contains test cases that can be used to ensure the work is correct.
- The work should be done using OO methods
- The code should be written using PHP 5
- The code should be written without requiring any extra libraries or modules (should only use core PHP methods)

The code is very straightforward, and queries a RESTful website with arguments, and then parses the results. So, it’s basically just a wrapper for HTTP requests. Here’s an example of one function:
public int getDistance(String location1, String location2) throws Exception
{
String query = WEB_SITE + QUERY_ZIP + “?type=distance&amp;amp;location1=”+location1 + “&amp;amp;location2=” + location2 + “&amp;amp;API=” + apiKey;
String response = Utils.getURLContents(query);
String distance = Utils.getXMLValue(response, “distance”);
return Integer.parseInt(distance);
}

I will post the link to an old version of the Java code for you to examine in the PMB. The newest version is nearly identical with only a few bug fixes. I will send the newest version to the winning bid.
