Project: Bible Narrators from Different Countries Around the World

We are looking to hire 26 narrators to read the New Testament, and to record it as mp3 files. We want to find Christians from different countries around to make Bible recordings freely available to anyone who wants them. We will eventually dramatize them, adding music and sound effects.

We will hire one Christian narrator per book in the New Testament. We will want to put your picture on our website, the name of your country, the flag from your country, with a brief testimony.

Must be a Christian to participate in this project. Your role will be to read the book of the New Testamnet in a clear, pleasant voice. Your accent needs to be clear, and easily understood by others. Project warmth while reading. Use vocal variety and emphasis (avoid monotone).

VERY IMPORTANT: Your bid amount will be for you recording ten chapters.

If you read the book of Matthew, that book has 28 chapters. You would be paid the bid amount x 2.8 So if your bid is $5 per 10 chapters, you would be paid $14.

You will need to have access to software to record yourself reading each chapter of the book you are assigned to. The software you use must be able to record mp3 files. (We do not want to have to try to find software to convert your files into mp3 formats.)

Each mp3 file you record will be from each chapter. So, if the book you are assigned to has 23 chapters in it, you will be sending us 23 of these mp3 files, one recorded file for each chapter.

Important: Your spoken English must be clear, professional and easily understood without a very heavy accent. (Minor accents are fine, of course, as long as the general populace can understand you.)

We are working on an eBook store project. We want sellers to have accounts, where they can upload books in their entirity or on a chapter basis. We then want to allow sellers to set prices for their books, which can then be downloaded in different formats. (We will take care of the scripting for conversion of the ebooks, but we need the options for different formats to be downloaded)

Buyers will be able to purchase books or chapters of a book as they come out, and will have a “bookshelf” area where they can keep track and re-download their purchased items. eBooks need to have a “preview” of the first 3 chapters for free. This could be done via pdf or an online flash reader. Buyers also need to be able to review books, with text and a five star rating.

The site owner will get a percentage of sales. A seller will be paid monthly. This needs to be taken care of on a back end. The site will accept only paypal for now, and will send sellers their payments via paypal.

The back end side will be to manage approval of new books/chapters submitted. It will also track seller payments, book/chapter sales, and site income. Buyer and Seller accounts need to be managed as well. There will be no monthly “fees” to be a member either way.

I currently have a Joomla site set up with the Community Builder (CB) plug-in and would like to add 4 extra tabs to the ‘User Profile’ section. Each of these tabs would have forms with various data fields. I have attached a PDF that has the forms. These forms are part of a resource guide that is currently on the site and available for registered users to read. Also, I have created some of the forms using the Fabrik form/app builder but need to connect it with the CB Profile page. More detailed info below.

Note: Project due on September 15, 2009. Events calendar portion may not be required by this date. If you cannot commit to the project, please do not submit a bid.

Project Requirements List:
- Change the navigation menu that appears for registered users
- Extended user profile must be editable by user and viewable by administrator
- Profile forms will be spread out across multiple tabs in Community Builder profile page (one tab per related chapter, not all chapters have forms)
- Create a “chapter completed” marker at the end of each chapter of resource guide that allows users to mark off chapters they have read
- Create a profile progress bar module that tracks chapters completed + chapter forms completed (similar in function to what LinkedIn.com has)
- Ability to for admin to auto-register users and send e-mail with temporary password
- Set up an events calendar that the registered user can add his/her events with reminder functionality
- Set up an events calendar that admin can add events to and can be viewable by registered users
- Set up 3 ACL for program (3-month/6-month/9-month subscriptions)
- User will be auto-notified 1 month prior to the end of the subscription (prompt appears when user logs in with option to hide once or hide always)
