Move Plesk Server To New Plesk

July 28th, 2009 Comments off

Currently have an 8.6 Plesk server that I need to move to a new 9.2 Plesk server. There is 1 client on there with 9 domains that are aliased to one domain, and 11 MySql databases for this site. I have the latest Centos installed and updated on the new server. This is the only client we have on a Plesk server, as all our other ones are on CPanel and I am not as familiar with Plesk. These servers are in my office and I have physical access to both of them.

I need a hand implementing rScript Auction software. It takes me 2 days, so with your help maybe less. If you don’t know rscript.com, look them up and figure out if you can handle what it will take. Host is cphosting.com This needs to be done as quick as possible. Would be nice if you know SSH Shell. There is more details I can share, however like I said I can do it in a couple of days, so it’s not going to go that long with two of us working it. I’m ready to do this ASAP this weekend/tonight if you let me know soon enough.

Scriptlance Clone – Package

June 28th, 2009 Comments off

Hello bidders,
Read the project carefully and then bid.
Add “Cool Rodo” in your bid to confirm that you are not a Autobot.

My Project.
I need a website package which includes
* Scriptlance Clone
* With Its entire features and my views incorporated.
* The Scriptlance layout should be changed.
* Site should be simple and fast.
* SHOULD RESEMBLE SCRIPTLANCE IN FUNCTION. i.e
– Its escrow options
– Its money transaction capabilties
– Its Project Message Board (I have another idea)
– Its security systems
* As I see, And I think Scriptlance was entirely designed in Perl/CGI with some Javascript and CSS (Im not sure, Please guide me in this regard)
* If it is so, Perl would be my option too, because this website entirely depends on text rather than other junk.
* This project not only includes the script writing, but it also requires, the programmer to complete all the steps necessary in bringing up the site online. It should be hosted accordingly as is the case with R3N3. The database should also be setup accordingly. All in all when the website is handed over to me, it should be fully functional as Scriptlance without any glitches.

Please read PMB before bidding.

Understand the project before bidding, because the word PACKAGE has some meaning. Hope you realize that meaning.

Happy Bidding

Transfer Website To New Host

April 21st, 2009 Comments off

We have a single website that needs to be transferred to a new host. Unfortunately, the old host doesn’t use cpanel whereas the new host does. We can produce a .tar.gz of the old site but because the directory structure on the new host is slightly different we can’t simply unpack into the new site. The old site is still functional so you can look at its set up to work out what needs to be done on the new host. There are some cgi scripts that would need to have their config files updated to reflect the different paths on the new host. The winning bidder who can successfully move this site back to its original state on the new host will also be given first preference on moving another 4 sites that are going to be moved in the very near future as well – all of these will be moved from the same old host to the same new host. 2 of those sites do have a mySQL database though.

Adobe Forms Install

April 4th, 2009 Comments off

I wish to have data from a form on a website, collected in a database, integrated into a PDF and enable download of the new PDF for use by the person that input the data into the form.

There will be two forms, and several pdf’s to use the data input,

I have attached the necessary documentation, and for someone familiar it will be an easy job.

I have a sample format to model, using a similar idea submitting data into a MS Word doc and then providing a finished pdf. This application is inserting the form data directly into the pdf and delivering a personalized pdf.

I am looking to build a web-based script that will rebrand affiliate links in a PDF format. This script must be compatible with Aweber.com’s email system. The interface would consist of:

1. an opt-in page for users to download the PDF for free.
2. a built in affiliate program whereby affiliates can login and set their unique Affiliate IDs, Ie. Clickbank, Amazon, Paydotcom, Etc.
3. an admin login to check affiliates, user stats and downloads.

The script would work like this: Affiliate sends out an email to list, their subscribers come to get the free PDF, when the subscriber lands on the opt-in page and enters first name and email, the affiliate’s rebranded PDF is generated in the back end using the affiliate’s unique setting entered into the affiliate back-office to rebrand the PDFs affiliate links. Then the system would automatically send out an email or display a download page to the user to download the rebranded PDF.

If an new PDF is uploaded into the system by the admin the system will automatically rebrand the PDF using each affiliate’s unique IDs and send the rebranded PDF to all the affiliate’s referred users without the affiliate’s need to be involved in the process.

Move Vbulletin To New Server

March 19th, 2009 No comments

I just switched hosting on my domain and need to back up the vbulletin forum and move it to the new server asap.

I found this helpful article online (http://www.htmlgoodies.com/beyond/webmaster/projects/article.php/3798831) Seems simple enough but thought it’s best if I not try it myself.

I have alot of customizations, especially the layout, and years of posts so I need to make sure those all make the move along with the forum.

Classifieds With Blog

I am looking for a developer to complete several tasks for me so that I have time to focus on promotional issues.

*Almond Classifieds*
I have installed the pro version, but require a developer to;
1. Install the GoogleMap and PayPal modules

3. Adapt the classifieds so that there are Free and Premium adverts
4. Adapt the classifieds so that sellers add the information as needed by the new search engine
5. Adapt the script so that everyone who adds an advert is put on an email newsletter, which they can opt-out of

*vBullitin*

*Wordpress blog*
