Help With Shopping Cart Product Descriptions

February 18th, 2012 Comments off

This is a boring and tedious job, so it requires someone who has attention to detail.

I am building a shopping cart in Big Commerce. The product descriptions have been copied and pasted from another site. So the html code contains a lot of useless stuff like divs, spans, styles etc that are not relevant to the new site.

I just need all these removed so the code is clean.

There are about 170 products. I have already done about 50 myself, so there are about 120 left to do. I would say it’…

X-cart Product Options

May 29th, 2009 Comments off

I am needing a Tire and Wheel kit builder on our X-Cart Store. I am open to ideas as how to accomplish this, but the idea I have in mind is having a particular wheel as the main product and then in a four column layout have the tires as an option or variant. Currently in X-cart options are in a single column layout without an image. I would like to have a small thumbnail of each tire that when clicked on will open another small window with the tire details. There will be about 30 – 40 tires to choose from with several sizes per tire, so page space could be an issue.

X-cart Product Data Upload

April 14th, 2009 Comments off

We need around 3,000 products uploaded to the administrative end of our web site, X-Cart. Data includes multiple images per product, product variations/prices/options, which need to be articulated into our built drop down box features, and keyword rich product titles and descriptions. You will be working with data from over one half dozen manufacturers.

Most products will have on average 1-3 images each that will go on the product page and 1-3 option and price variants, but some will have more. Duplicate images of different sizes will need to be uploaded through different sections within the admin side of the site to represent the product on different pages.

All data is provided, and currently organized into an Excel spreadsheet. Photos are currently JPGS, and will be web-ready and pre-sized to suit our needs for each page the product will appear on.

Please see attachment to gain clearer perspective of the data load and current outlay (manuf. And product names running vertically and product variations/options horizontally across top.

DATA IS INCOMPLETE AND ONLY FOR ESIMATING PURPOSES. Outlay can be re-organized to optimize upload/import process.

Please have the following included in your bid response:

1) Estimated cost
2) Estimated time of completion
3) What data format or layout will be needed if any

Thank you,
Toby

X-cart Product Importer

March 27th, 2009 No comments

Hello,

I need someone to assist me in enhancing a few features on a third party shopping cart product importer called Product Importer Updater Pro for X-cart. It is php based.

The script is already installed and working, however er, I’d like to add some simple feature enhancements to its basic functions. The developers of the script are too busy to assist me in the time I need to do what I want to do.

So contact me if you are interested in getting familiar with the script and assisting me with he enhancements.

You will need Xcart experience for this job. We can negotiate the pricing, so don’t worry about the project budget I have listed.

Thanks!
