Updatable Carbon Impact Calculator

September 16th, 2011 Comments off

I have a website for a charity to help mitigate individual and corporate environmental impact. I have done the research to find the information on as many variables as I can find, but I need a framework to put them into. More importantly, I need to be able to consistently add new variables based on new and current research.

Users must be able to select a specific time frame to average, from one day to a year, then be able to set up a one-time or recurring payment to a credit card merchant account to mitigate their impact over whatever time frame they wish.

There is a preference for immediate feedback as opposed to requiring user input in order to update the impact of specific behaviors, as increasing individual awareness is the primary concern.

Users must be have the option to create an account of some kind to save their specific inputs for future visits, and I would prefer that there is an option to record non-user-specific data for future environmental research. If possible, this could be integrated with a preexisting shopping cart and credit card processing program.

Carbon Treasury International Logo

May 23rd, 2011 Comments off

Carbon Treasury International is a company that develops projects that create Carbon Credits, that we then sell to customers in Europe. Our corporate logo is CTI, with the T in the form of a tree to clearly identify we are a firm in the Green, Climate Change business. I am looking to have the logo re-designed key themes climate Change, Green, Carbon Reduction. The logo has to be CTI with Carbon Treasury International underneath in Green.

Carbon Offset Calculator Site

May 4th, 2009 Comments off

I want to build a carbon offset calculator site. I’d like to find someone who has experience in developing a carbon footprint calculator to compute travel, business, personal, weddings… and other offsets related to CO2 emission reduction. This site can be a clone or a variation of a project you’ve already done. Please include samples of your work. The merchant implementation of this site will be handled by my staff.

Here is a good example of what I’m looking for http://www.carbonfund.org/Calculators/#

This calculator website is the first step in a larger project that will include several different websites. If all goes well on this first step I will gladly offer the other projects directly to you.

Thank you for your consideration.

Client Management System

March 30th, 2009 Comments off

The design framework and the flowchart that we have to integrate to make CarbonBell work is break down into 2 main core sections:

1. “CB Green” – General Membership Subscription (GMS) including Self data entry and management. Participation in “CarbonBELL Awareness Unit” (a Loyalty carbon emission bonus system) also known as (CAU)

2. “CB Gold” – Corporate Membership Subscription (CMS) including both self data entry and management or Client Relations Agent (CRA) a approved member of CarbonBELL network that helps and manage the CMS whether they are clients acquired by CRA or CMS clients that is allocated by CarbonBELL administration.

What is a CAU?

A CarbonBELL Awareness Unit (CAU) is an electronic, tradeable commodity equal to 1 kilogram of carbon emission credit. A CBU is similar to a share certificate as it represents a unit of value and may be traded for financial return. In the CBU Registry, each CAU is identified by a unique four-part code which includes:

* the Registered Person Number of the original creator of the certificate
* the accreditation (Carbon Emission Credit Source) for which the CAU was created
* the year in which the CAU was created
* a serial number.
