On my server they needed to exchange the RAID hard drives because they were broken. I was able to create a backup and upload it back after the hard drives were exchanged (all through SSH), but the site is not available. I contacted the customer support so the only thing left to do is:

customer support told me when booting it says “operating system not found” and that i need to write the bootloader (grub) in the MBR of the hard drive.

The server runs linux.

When i have update FreeBSD on server from sysinstall all is ok.
But after reboot, the boot can’t find kernel.
I have boot to kernel.prev from KVM and i can access to my system but when i run freebsd-update fetch the system can’t find the mirrors becouse can’t access to the internet from KVM.

I can boot the server also on rescue-pro, is a server-console that mount the disk of the server and can manage the files and disk, can connect to internet from there.

I need NOW the boot fixed.
I can’t do iself.

Hi I need a script for Windows that would, in the event of power outage, reboot windows and start a webcam without having to touch the computer, as we wont be on premises

the computer would run the script when power was back on, and run a webpage that starts the webcam operating as long as internet was on.

We will suppy the web page URL for IE or Firefox, and the webcam script will be automatic

Here’s the details.

i have a disc that will allow my computer to run a retail copy of the Mac OS X 10.5 installation disc. the disc is a boot-loader called Boot 132. How does it work?

Basically, you create a flat dmg with the kexts in a folder and the bootloader will load them for you. This means quite a lot;
you can boot from a retail Leo DVD and install it, you can update straight from apple, you can reinstall and not have to add
the same kexts to your install every time. The bootloader behaves like the linux kernel: you can use an mboot (a patched syslinux
was used) compatible bootloader which tells to boot-dfe about the .img file (the ramdisk or initrd, as it’s known by the linux users)
and boot-dfe is going to use the kexts (or mkext) from it.
What does it do?

This new boot-dfe has been tested with the retail Leopard DVD and it can boot, install and run Leopard without having to build
a modified DVD.

The problem is that i have no drivers to make all of my hardware run properly. I need someone to write those drivers.
