3. These standard blogger gadgets in left or right columns: Popular Posts, Search Box, Video Bar (with related youtube videos), Newsreel, Labels/Tabs, Blog Archive, Subscription Links, Recent Comments and Share It (but name these something different so the blog looks unique).
4. Place all ad positions with HTML/Javascript modules.
5. Create a favicon designed for the site title (initials, etc)
6. Privacy Policy and other Links across the bottom plus room for a logo at the bottom.

I have budgeted $40 for each blog, so your bid should be in the neighborhood of $60-100 for two blogs in order to be considered. I have 25 blogs to create, so I will probably pick several bidders to do two each, and then will hire the best of them to create more.

I have a small script that someone did for me about 3 years ago.

It pulls the rss feed from blogspot, now my client has changed from blogspot to wordpress on her own website, but the script doesn’t pull the title and the description. When I update to the new RSS Feed, it just pulls the title and a phrase “continue reading”. I need it to pull the description.

On the feed_reader.php, the setting are set perfectly already, I just need the description to show instead of the phrase “continue reading”.

TO SUM IT UP:

I need a way to rewrite Blogger image URLs within of Blogger blog posts that have been imported into a WordPress blog.

Here’s my test site:

I wanted to do this via a find-and-replace in the database (using SQL) but I’d need to use wildcards. The reason is that the Blogger image URLs are not uniform. EVERY image path is different, and are even of different lengths. This is not a matter of replacing “blogspot.com/images/” with “mysite.com/images.” The blogger URLs look like this:

Those images are on the SAME PAGE. Note how the paths are completely differnet, and therefore cannot be replaced without wildcards. The only way to replace them is with some sort of wildcard pattern-match, like replacing:

http://*blogspot.com/*/*/*/*/*/

with

http://mysite.com/images/

BUT, SQL won’t allow wildcards in the replace function, or so I’m told.

So, I’d like either:

1. (Ideally) A way to find and replace in the DB using wildcards that I don’t know about,
or,
2. Some kind of PHP or Javascript snippet that will rewrite the URLs on the fly. In this case, I’d leave the DB alone, but the script would rewrite the image URLs as the page loads.
