I need to have a wordpress blog setup on existing joomla site. This will NOT be wordpress.com version, but rather standalone version of wordpress.

Don’t care if you install wordpress as joomla extension or as standalone install… Either way is fine, just need setup in /blog subdirectory and link added in joomla top nave to point there..

With wordpress, I will need to be able to access normal backend where I can add plugins/tweak settings, etc

When setup, just need very simple design transferred over from “test” wordpress site… Think will just be different header image. See site at http://bit.ly/ow4eSR

I have a new wordpress blog that is already partially set up. I need the setup completed so that it looks like another site that I will give you. THe format is a premium template that was purchased from elegantthemes.com It also needs to be integrated with wishlist. If you are not familiar with wishlist please do not bid on this project. In additiona we are attaching a bais forum to the blog and it needs to be integrated. The forum is using bbpress (free software) and I want tit to look like the other site that I will give you later. Should be a simple job for someone familiar with wordpress.

I’m going to give most of the details to you after you PM me. Here’s my situation. I have a blog that is setup through blogspot.com … My client hired someone to hide the “blog URL” with his .COM address. I want this put back to the way it was.

TO SUM IT UP:

I want the actual blog to be hosted on his own hosting/domain and not like blogspot.com which is hosted on there server.

I’ve been looking into WORDPRESS but I’m open to suggestions.

NOTE: I need a blog that will EASILY allow me to modify the header, menu, color, layout, etc, etc. I need it to be fairly flexible for me to upload a premade theme and then modify that theme further like the header, etc. ** I know most forums like VBULLITIN and stuff like that will easily let you change the theme, header, etc. ** That’s what I want.

WHAT I NEED YOU TO DO: I need you to UNPOINT my clients domain from blogspot.com. I will need you to recommend me a great blog that allows me to do everything I stated above. I will need you to upload and install it and make sure it points directly to my clients .COM domain. I will need you to point me in the right direction on how to modify it.

That’s it. My budget is fairly low for this project. I know it’s not hard to unpoint the domain and upload a premade blog setup. It shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes for an experienced programmer/designer. I’m just very busy and not up for doing this right now. However, I’m obligated to do this for my client…

I have a website that needs a blog to be added to it. I don’t want to use any third-party blog themes, I want the blog contents to appear within my HTML template which I have created.

I will provide you with a page template, which should serve as the main page for the blog. You will write the code necessary to display the top five recent blog posts, and also include the code necessary to switch pages and read older posts. This will be very simple. No need for any fancy blog features. Just display the blog posts, and allow users to comment on the postings.

I think this can be done with WordPress or any of the other popular blog platforms. I have also downloaded the Super Simple Blog Script if you think that would be more customizable. The most important thing is that the blog content displays seamlessly within my page template.

I need this project done within 2 days. Please do not bid if you can’t start immediately. As soon as there is a qualified bidder with a good price, i will close the project and select his bid.
