It sees what day your Birthday is.
It takes all the birthday posts (all the posts that are posted on your wall on your Birthday, which most say Happy Birthday), and takes all those posts and profile pictures of the posters and creates a digital birthday card or poster.
A person can choose to leave some posts out of the card as well.
The birthday card will have a few different layouts, that the user can choose.
It can also be in a poste…

I need someone to write a PHP script or Perl script to scrape a particular website which will create a celebrity (actors and actresses) birthday list in a CSV format. PM me for the website name.

There are 12 different pages on this website – one page for each month. All of the required CSV information is on the webpage. The script will need to extract the information from the html tables.

I would like to have a QR code designed that, when scanned, will link to a site which will play a collated video clip of friends and family wishing the recipient a happy birthday.

The site the QR code links to should be permanently available (maybe something like word press?) and will be very basic – just one video clip of many short happy birthdays. I will complete and send all the short ‘happy birthday’ video clips to you and will need you to collate them and post the final product on the site.

2. A customer will then be asked to enter their birthday using a dropdown menu for month and a separate dropdown menu for day. Can this be done, or would it just pull their birthday from their profile? What are the pros and cons of these two methods?

3. In the backend, I would need to be able to set up what will be sent to the members of the birthday club. Each time I use this for a customer, I need to be able to customize the message just for them to include their company logo and custom message. I will do all of the design work. I am happy to either create an HTML email or create a single graphic that includes the birthday message. Whichever is easier is fine with me.

4. A Facebook message should be sent to the customer prior to their birthday. I would like to be able to tell the system how many days in advance to send the notification. It will probably be 7-10 days before, but it may not always be the same for every one of my customers. Some businesses may want to send it only a few days before.

5. Ideally I would like the option of a second message being sent. But this would need to be something I could turn off if one of my customers only wants one email. Again, if it’s possible I would like to be able to set somehow the number of days before their birthday to send this.

This would be the ideal scenario for how this app would work. Please let me know your thoughts on whether there are any areas that could be done differently than I described to make it easier/faster/cheaper to code.

We need to have a component built that is similar to the Evite system but for a personal website.

- Component must be resizable to fit into any site

The Problem
It’s the first day of class and you are barely awake. You are hoping to snooze through a typical syllabus day when your new teacher commands you to get up and find the person in the room with the closest birthday to yours. Luckily, you’ve taken AP Computer Science already and realize that the key to solving the problem is to sort EVERYONE by their birthday, and then simply look directly to the left and right of you (the birthday that occurs immediately before and after yours) and see which of the two is closer. If you on the end of the list, you have to check with the person at the beginning and vice versa.

In order to solve this problem, you’ll get several different classes from an input file. Each class will have several queries. You are required to implement either Merge Sort of Quick Sort in the solution of your assignment.

Input File Specification (birthday.txt)
The input file has a single positive integer, n, on its first line, specifying the number of classes in the input file.

The first line of each input file will have a single positive integer k (k < 1001), representing the number of students in the class. The next k lines will have information about each student. Each line will have the following information separated by spaces: first name, last name, month, day and year of birth. All names will only contain uppercase alphabetic characters and be no longer than 29 characters long. The month will be represented in its full spelling, in uppercase letters. The day and year will be the appropriate integers. You are guaranteed that all of this information is valid. (Thus, no April 31st will appear, etc.) It is also guaranteed that each full name will be unique. (Namely, no two people in a class will have the exact same first AND last name.)

Following those k lines will be a line containing a single positive integer m (m < k), representing the number of queries for that class. The following m lines will contain the first and last name (separated by a space) of the student in question. (Your goal will be to find the name of the student with the closest birthday to the queried student.)

Output Specification
For each input class, print out a header with the following format:

where c represents the day of the simulation (1 ≤ c ≤ n).

Follow this with a blank line.

The following k lines will answer the queries for that class in the order they were given. For each of these queries, output a single line with the following format:

FIRST2 LAST2 has the closest birthday to FIRST LAST.

where FIRST LAST is the name of the queried student and FIRST2 LAST2 is the name of the student with the closest birthday to FIRST LAST.

To avoid ambiguity, sort the students in the following manner:

1) By birthdate, ignoring the year.
2) To break ties between students with the same exact birthdate, use last name as compared by the strcmp function.
3) To break ties where both #1 and #2 are the same, use the first name, which in these cases, is guaranteed to be different.

To further avoid ambiguity, if both the person who appears right before and right after the queried person are the same number of days away (in birthday) as the queried person, always choose the first who comes AFTER the queried person in the array. Note: for these purposes, February 29th won’t count as an actual day, unless someone in the class has that birthday. For example, if the queried person’s birthday is March 1st, the person right before her has a February 28th birthday and the person right after her as a March 3rd birthday, then the person with the February 28th birthday is considered the closest (1 day way) as compared to the March 3rd birthday (2 days away). BUT, if there IS a February 29th birthday in the class, then that does count as a day.

Put a blank line between the output for each case.

Implementation Restrictions
You must store all the relevant information about a student in an appropriate struct. You must implement either Merge Sort or Quick Sort. You must follow all the tie-breaking procedures described above.

looking for a website clone for celebritorium.com with all user and site admin. I will not be using “celeb spotting”, “Look-a-likes”, “Who’s date who” or “former celebrities”, but will want a photo gallery (It’s already in there, just not on a menu).

The KEY to this is I want the SEO elements rock solid like this site. Look very carefully at the url constructs. For example, look at Jessica Simpson’s details and notice when you hover over “hair color”, that it will create a url for all celebs with blonde hair…notice that on almost every element.

Also, notice the ability for a user to upload an image, and add additional details about the celebrity. Obviously I need all the admin for that, along with registratino, etc.

It looks pretty simple, but the SEO stuff needs to be rock solid.

I need an online form / Database set up for accepting online registration for a sports league.

The form is done already, I need to add functionality and also need a small admin area where we can log in and view all of the registrants.

The form needs to have some functionality where based on the birthday they input, the database kicks out the one division that they are allowed to register in instead of them picking the division. The divisions will be based on the users birthday as of December 31.

I also need captcha on this form to prevent spam.

For the admin panel, I need to have a database to capture all of the details of each registraion. I need to be able to search these based on division signed up for and i need to be able to view them online, and also I need to be able to export 1 or all of them per division into an excel spread sheet.

I also need a registration confirmation page after they hit submit telling them that they have successfully registered, but that they wont officially be in the system until they take a check into the office. I also need this emailed to them at the address they provide.

I also need an email confirmation sent to the admin of the site showing that they have registred, name, birthday, and division and date and time of registration.

This is not a difficult job, but it needs to be done correctly. It needs to be able to function with MULTIPLE users inputting at the same time as it is possible to get 300+ people using it on the first day, possibly in the first few hours.

The cost of this, should be reasonable and there will be alot more work on this site given to the programmer that excels at this task.
