we did a bios update on XP pro and now can only access the Bios Setup Menu.
When we start the PC, the screen stays black with some PC details.
is there a way to boot without using a boot floppy disk (which is available through the motherboard).
any chance to go back as it was before the bios update?

Hi, have a HP Compaq nc6220 laptop. I couldn’t get it to boot from CD rom as had no password for the bios. I need a bootable CD-Rom that has the necessary program and bios information to allow me to easily flash the bios. I can’t tell what version is currently installed past what the laptop model is. We need software which will write some info to any available BIOS on market, next when PC starting this info need to be extracted on HDD as files in needed folder.
