I have a reverse bidding website very similar to this scriptlance site. But because we are selling physical services we need to integrate a feature whereby visitors can search for local jobs.

I want a search feature that will allow businesses to enter a post code and then it will bring up jobs within the specified area. eg 10 miles/50 miles/nation wide.

I already have the post code database imported to a table in my database.

If you go to the website auctions.compsmart.co.uk you will see the search bar “find work” on the home page. Ideally I want a second field in the search box that will allow to search by postcode.

This is the job criteria.
1. Add a postcode field to the customer sign up form to store this with their other details such as name/town etc. (very simple)
2. A table named ‘projects’ contains all the job request details. Eg. Window frame size colour etc. When a customer adds a job request we need some hidden fields containing their postcode and location inserting into the project table. This will allow us to search for projects by postcode/location.
3. We then need the search by location feature adding to the search bar on the home page.
4. We should be able to filter results based on distance from a specified postcode or town.

I don’t really want to wait too long for this, so I am primarily looking to leverage work that has already been done. Or an existing (working) script that is modified to include the details that i need.

I need a seated auction script prepared. I already have 2 different penny auction scripts (both work) So one of those can be used.

Here are the details…

The User will need to register and pay an entry fee in advance to enter an auction, entry fee to be set in admin.

Each auction will have a cost of entry to be added via admin.

There will be a set minimum number of participants for each auction to be set in admin.

User can only start bidding when timer counts down to a pre-set time (for example: last 5 minutes) ‘start bidding’ time to be set in admin.. ALSO…. A message in red font appears to say ‘bidding in process’.

Each user will have a set amount of bids automatically credited to their account (1 to unlimited) to be set in admin.

Once bidding begins, user must be present (no bidbutler).

Auction ends same as penny auction or will have an auto termination time where last bidder wins after cutoff time.. forced termination time to be set in admin. This will be a time setting such as (this auction runs for a maximum of 3 hours, or 20 minutes or 24 hours).

Once auction ends, user bid accounts restored to ’0′

User may join in any other auction that has an entry fee which is LOWER than the entry fee they paid for an auction. IMPORTANT!!… But once the auction ends that the user originally entered, then their account is set to zero and can no longer bid in other auctions…. ALSO…User can not join ANY auctions unless their originally joined auction is in ‘bidding process’.

If you already have a seated auction script, or something close to it…. i will almost certainly award the project to you…. Time is the important factor. Please give details if you have any of any work you have done in this area.

I need a program/script/macro created for Godaddy.com which would allow me to bid on their expiring domain auctions as close to 2 minutes before the close of the auction as is possible.

Daily, I would provide a comma delimited list of domain names and amounts as a text file. The macro would login, submit the bid, and logout. However, another macro would probably need to do a search ahead of time and find the TIME that the auction is closing.

I have considered trying to create this with iMacro for Firefox, which could probably handle the login, bid, and logout easily, but not the searches to find the auction close times (that request scanning a part of the screen).

Also, since GoDaddy changes their user interface regularly, this script needs to be easily editable, and your quote should include TWO edits to deal with this down the road.

Dear Programmers, I need a desktop automatic bidding program for live auction websites. The program should do the following:
1. Automatically place bid when the bidding clock go down to 1 second.
2. Automatically start and stop placing bid when the total cost of bid (price spent on bid + bidding price) reach certain percentage in respect to the retail price of the items. For example, if the price of each bid cost a dollar, the program will trigger the bidding when the bidding price reach for instance 12% of the retail price, and it will automatically stop when the total cost to bid (total bids spent + current bidding price) exceed 56%.

I what to Create a Web Based application Similar to www.senuke.com. Senuke is windows based application, but I need the similar application as a web Based application. This application I am going sell to customers as subscription bases. I need 2 version of this application. One is free version and one is paid version. I need to have full control over free version how many submission they can make per month, and what modules they can use.

There is another additional feature I need them in this web based application, this feature its not in the Senuke program.
