Bible verse script – full details and requirements in the text file

I want to add a Bible Passage Search script to my website.

Requires MySQL database.

I want the script to seacrh the entire Bible in 5 translations:
KJV (King James Version), NIV (New International Version), NLT (New Living Translation), NSAB (New American Standard Bible), and NKJV (New King James Version).

My purpose in having a website created is to be able to study different Bible Translations that have already been created and are freely available online, and have a page that will act as a virtual library. I have begun a Bible Translation list that I hope to continue to expand over time.

I need from you a web page created with a database within it to hold the list I have attached of Bible Translations, with the view of me being able to add many more Translations to this database/page (potentially thousands). At the top of the web page I need an organised group of tabs/buttons as follows: a Complete Old Testament tab/button, a Complete New Testament tab/button, a Complete Bible tab/button, and one for every book of the Bible. This is illustrated at the top of the attached diagram (which is a basic diagram of how I want the page to look like).
Each translation in my attached list includes (its title, any other titles the translation is known as, the author/s, a link to where to find it on the web, and a code at the end). I have added codes at the end to be able to filter the Translations within the database. Each code is to be connected with its corresponding tab/button at the top of the page. The reason being is that when a tab/button is clicked it filters out (hides) any of the translations that do not contain that corresponding code in the database. I need the code on the end of each Translation to be hidden when viewed on the web page.
Instead of having the full title of each book of the Bible appearing on each tab/button, I have created shorthand’s to save space and would like these to be used if it helps its readability on the page. The following are all the shorthand’s I need you to use for the tabs/buttons as well as the codes written into the Translations, where the first bracket (xx) is the shorthand and the second [yy] is the code:

Just need a really good presentation for a new reference bible that will hit the market in november. Cost will be $70. Emphases is on the fact that the notes glorify the word of God as apposed to correcting it. Lambskin cover, color maps, common sayings of today revealed in the margins.

We are looking to hire 26 narrators to read the New Testament, and to record it as mp3 files. We want to find Christians from different countries around to make Bible recordings freely available to anyone who wants them. We will eventually dramatize them, adding music and sound effects.

We will hire one Christian narrator per book in the New Testament. We will want to put your picture on our website, the name of your country, the flag from your country, with a brief testimony.

Must be a Christian to participate in this project. Your role will be to read the book of the New Testamnet in a clear, pleasant voice. Your accent needs to be clear, and easily understood by others. Project warmth while reading. Use vocal variety and emphasis (avoid monotone).

VERY IMPORTANT: Your bid amount will be for you recording ten chapters.

If you read the book of Matthew, that book has 28 chapters. You would be paid the bid amount x 2.8 So if your bid is $5 per 10 chapters, you would be paid $14.

You will need to have access to software to record yourself reading each chapter of the book you are assigned to. The software you use must be able to record mp3 files. (We do not want to have to try to find software to convert your files into mp3 formats.)

Each mp3 file you record will be from each chapter. So, if the book you are assigned to has 23 chapters in it, you will be sending us 23 of these mp3 files, one recorded file for each chapter.

Nine months ago, I began listening to Bible recordings one per day. Since that time, I have seen quite a large number of amazing miracles in my life. Prior to that time, I never had any such experiences.

The Bible recordings I purchased are expensive. Around $42 or so.

Hence came the idea for this project below. To make Bible recordings freely available to anyone who wants them. And, to have each book of the Bible read from people from different countries around the world.

We will want a picture of you, plus your Christian testimony. (In order to be considered, we will want a brief testimony of one paragraph. Later on, after accepted, we will want a longer testimony of about 500 – 700 words. Or longer, if you wish.)

After being accepted for this project, we would really love to get a brief video of you giving your testimony as well. We will post your video testimony with the download section on the website, as well as on the DVD that will be made freely available.

There are 200,000 churches in the United States. We have a database of all of these churches. When all of the recordings are done, we will be sending out an announcement to these churches telling them of the free recordings available for download.

IP address will be used to verify the country in which you live in. (Oddly enough, we’ve had some folks say they live in one country, and the IP address revealed they lived in some totally different country.)

I already had one built for $250 but it does not install correctly any longer and is corrupt, so I want another cms built.

Fix Postnuke/Zikula Bug
I have a postnuke site which was moved from an old server to a new server. At the same time, I think, it was upgraded to Zikula from postnuke but I’m not sure. It must be upgraded if it has not already been upgraded. The old server and new server are Linux with Apache and Cpanel. It’s working perfectly fine except that I cannot login and there is a little php bible program that seems to have a bug, not in the program but in the way it interacts with the postnuke/zikula program. It’s very important to me that none of the customizations on my postnuke are changed. If you went to the site which is equal to about 1000 pages of printed matter you would not notice anything wrong with it. I just can’t login. The Bible program only does strange stuff when you do a second search after the first search has been for a word that is not in the Bible. Again, I think that’s just some interaction thing with the postnuke.

This is a fun page that I’d like to add to my website. Something interesting for the visitors to participate in.
The page should be divided into 4 rows.
The First Row on top:
I’d like to have a listing of the top 200 highest rated verses appear on the top of the page.
They should be listed as only Book, Chapter, verse. For example, John 3:16. If the visitor puts his mouse over that verse a box will show up with the verse and that box will disapear when the mouse moves somewhere else.

The Second Row:
This is the section where the visitor can add a verse that they’d like to see rated. It should be 3 form fields. The first field is the book of the Bible. Only the 66 Christian protestant books to be listed. The next two fields should not be available until the visitor finishes selecting the first field (the book field).
The second field is the chapter of that book that they want to select. In the Christian bible, there are various numbers of chapters according to the book that is used. So the first field must be selected first. When the first book-field, and the second chapter-field, are both selected then the third verse-field is available.
Similarly, the verse number depends on which book and chapter the person selects, so some book and chapters may have 50 verses, and some may have 100 verses.

The Third row section of the page is where a person may select a different category of pages. There are various different categories that I want to offer. The first is called, “Favorite Memory Verse”. Another is called, “Favorite Evangelistic Verse”. And yet another is called, “Favorite Promise Verse”.
I want to be able to add more categories in the future in an easy way.

The Fourth Row:
On the bottom of this page are 4 columns of lists.
The first list will show the “Top 5 Verses”.
The second list will show the “Top 5 Most Rated Verses”.
The fourth list will show the “Top 5 Most Recently Rated Verses”.
The third list will show the “Top 5 Most Recently Added Verses”.
Each Category page should show this section on the bottom of the page.

The page will be a standalone page that is separate from the rest of my website so it may have its own website design. I prefer soft blue colors and very symmetrical and organized. I like straight lines, not rounded corners. Simple is preferred, not complicated.
I would also like it to be very secure, for example, in order to add a verse or a category a person must register, but anyone may rate a verse. One rating per IP address.

When adding a category, the visitor must register with captcha a username and password. He then gets an email approval and a link back to the website at the login page. He can then add a category and his name will appear in very small letters next to the category. Look at this website to see a sample:http://www.sodaratings.com/

I don’t mind where things go so much as the design can be worked on after the core work is done. Any questions? please let me know.
