With the betting script, one should be able to convert a joomla installation into a betting website with the features and functions of a standard football betting portal like bwin and bet365 (the focus is only on soccer)

Our site’s been installed with Open-Source Flowplayer for playing flv, ie flash videos. This was all fine. But when we create access restrictions to subfolder or folder that contains all the flvs (to prevent download of the files from the folder by our site audience), then flv cannot be played and we get the following error message:

“200, Stream Not Found.NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound, clip:’[Clip]‘http://yourdomain.com/subfoldername/nameoffile.flv”

Alternatively, we loosen those folder access permissions, and all of a sudden the flvs play successfully.

But we want both twin goals to be achieved, as we want to prevent download of flvs by our site audience, while enabling the flvs to play successfully on their PC.

- You would only have to “add” the new system to the bot, since the bot already has all the requirements I need.

This is how it will work. I’ll have users registering on my website. The website will be for soccer fans where upon their registration I’ll assign each user 30 points so they can bet on soccer matches. For each soccer match I’ll have three odds (1) (X) (2). (1) is Home Win (X) is Draw (2) is Away Win Match Example: Inter – Milan (1) 2.10 (X) 3.50 (2) 2.75 So the odds for Inter to win at Home are 2.10, to Draw the game is 3.50 and for Milan to win Away is 2.75 If user selects Inter to Win which is (1) and bets 2 points his possible payout would be (2.10 x 2) 4.20 points. If Inter does win, I’ll add points to his account so from 30 the user will have 34.2. When the user submits the bet of 2 points, his account will reload and it will show 28.00 points instead of 30.00, and then if they guess correctly I’ll add their points. Users are not allowed to edit/change their bets, but they can only view them. They should be able to bet on multiple matches (up to six). The bet card is very important. The betcard is the page where the user sees which matches he has selected, their odds and possible payout. The user should “remove” any of the matches he doesn’t like from the betcard before submitting it.
