Extended Checkbook Organizer

We need two Excel VBA files, each of which creates a batch file, runs the batch file and then deletes the batch file after the batch file has completed its run.

Batch file #1 uses the inputs (source directory, destination directory), goes through each and every CSV file within the source directory, removes the last carriage return of each CSV file and then overwrites the new CSV file to the destination directory.

Batch file #2 uses the inputs (source directory, destination directory, latestdata.csv directory), goes through each and every CSV file within the source directory, removes the last carriage return of each CSV file, retrieves the latest data from latestdata.csv (if the data is there), appends the data to the CSV file and then overwrites the new CSV file to the destination directory.

Since there are a lot of CSV files, speed is critical.

2. Generates a tex file with one phrase from the list inserted into each text file. So if I have 15000 phrases, I will need 100 text files.

I need a collage maker in my oscommer store. This will compile various images and group them in a rectangle on the front of a shirt image. It will then create a single image out of the grouped images which can then be sent to my existing t-shirt customizer module. You can see an example of what I want here:

The batch of images it will use will come from one of two sources at a time. 1. From an image collage cart I have in my store. This allows customer to add various images in my store to this cart so they can send it to the collage maker you will make. 2. The client can upload their own batch of images from their pc to the collage maker.

All images in the batch will be resized to fit either a square, rectangle (long), or rectangle (wide). The default will be rectangle (long) from the radio button you see in my picture. This will determine the shape of each image in the batch, so that all are the same size. Then we can fit all the images together with no gap in between, to make one final collage image. We also have two sliders, one for width and one for heigth. Here the client can change the shape of all images at once, e.g. from square to rectangle (long).

The collage maker may be in flash or ajax or a combo of the two. You must be able to work consistantly on this project and communicate daily.

I already have a script that will batch search from excel keywords in Google (and in fact return a count on hits). However the problem of course is I get IP blocked by Google when I try to do this, as they are trying to stop anyone (naturally) from using their engine for another site.

I simply need to search on 10k or so keywords to get a count on hits and want to be able to do so automatically one time.

Does anyone know how to do this in such a way that won’t get me banned (e.g. run small packets of 50 every X minutes) so I can just get this search out of the way and done with?

I am looking for someone to edit the free mihalism image script to create a batch image uploader so that when the files have finished uploading the user can copy just one piece of code instead of individual text lines For example if 5 pics are uploaded, it will provide 5 thumbnails for forums codes, 5 direct image codes but it provides them invidually. We have a small company that provides financial services. We bill our clients quarterly.

The software package we use to produce the bills and statements produces pdf files for each client and puts them a single directory with a date in the filename. For example, the file may be named: 876543_20091124

That indicates that the clients ID in our system is 876543 and this is the bill printed on 11/24/2009. There may be more than one document with the same date, so each person may have 2 or 3 files that we need to encrypt.

We are looking for a script that will allow us to combine the pdfs for a single customer and then batch encrypt files for each user. (Using the Adobe PDF Password feature so that the user is prompted by Adobe for a password to read the file.)

The input for the script should come from something that is easy to edit — perhaps a “csv formatted” or xls spreadsheet.

The values in the spreadsheet will be:

Root directory for files: (global value)

Customer Name, Customer Number, Encryption Password

The “Customer Name” may not be used in the script, but will help us keep the data correct in the spreadsheet.

Ideally this script will be something we can build on in the future. I predict that if the script works well, we may want to add fields in the future for email address and text file (for the email body). So we could batch encrypt and auto email with a choice of 2 or 3 email bodies depending on the customer type.

I have a bunch of emails (~3000) of users that were previously subscribed to my websites. Many of these guys have no idea that my website is back up after 1 year of downtime.

Is there any possible way of doing this without it being called spam. My host only allows 50 emails/ hour and it will take a long time to implement all this.

I know there is an admin function to do that, but it is too slow given the size of my file…

So i need to do that in SSH, with SQL request directly into Magento database.

It is fairly easy to do given that i only have info for the email and password (no need to import the adresses in the maze of EAV tables).

Only difficulty is the file size (750k customers), thus the need to do it in shell…

Can anybody help ?

We need a macro that can take an iif (text) file (tab delimited), scan for a particular column, piece of data; extract that data, then create a new file. In the file there are multiple records that have an inventory count, we need to extract the inventory number, inventory count and create the new file that has a header, and some standard data with these values inserted into it correctly.
I think it is an excel macro that will work best, but a small desktop program that does this simple step will probably also work.

We don’t have a very big budget for this project, we estimate for the right person it will take a couple of hours.

A batch file calls the PERL script which carries out the actions. I have the batch file.

The code script I have works duplicate data is removal so long as the data file is not too big.

The problem that requires resolving is with data files which are larger, (2 GB or more), with this size of file a memory error occurs when trying to load the complete file in to an array for duplicate data removal.

We are an auto classifieds website. Our vehicle database consists of about 4,000 listings. This is a very simple, tab-delineated text flatfile database (not SQL).

Our site includes a login area where a dealership can view their inventory and add new listings, as well as edit and delete current ones. Photos are uploaded through a conventional browser “upload” field on a form.

What we need is this:
A script which can be called from within this dealer login area, which will allow the dealership to upload a folder of photos all at once.

Once the photos are uploaded, the script should load a new page. The page should look something like this:

At the top, this page should have a drop-down menu or other way of selecting a vehicle in the dealer’s inventory.

At the bottom, there should be two “windows”. Window A should contain a thumbnail view of current photos for the vehicle selected. Window B should contain a thumbnail view of all the photos that were batch uploaded in step 1.

Here’s the special part: The user should be able to grab any photo, drag and drop it from the batch window to the vehicle window. In this way, the photos can be added to that listing. There should also be a small “X” on each photo to delete it, and it should be possible to arrange the photos on the listing by dragging them.

When the user is finished adding photos for that vehicle and clicks “save changes”, the script should send a brief command to Imagemagick (already in place) to process the photos, and then go back to the inventory list.

I am certain that scripts which can do this already exist, as I’ve seen them on other sites. The trick may be to get it to work with our tab-delineated text flatfile database.

I am looking for a clone of a simple autohotkey script, Hijack HoldemRanger. The script works with another program called Holdem Ranger, I would like the clone to be similar to the original, except work with PokerStove instead. Below I have included more detailed instructions. Please let me know if you need more clarification. I will make prompt payment and would like this project completed as soon as possible.

Hold’em Ranger is a program used to calculate the odds of a hand of Texas Hold’em Poker. Hijack HoldemRanger is an autohotkey script that is used to automate the process of evaluating the odds of many different hands and compiling all the data together [both programs are included in the "Bulk Hand Range Analyzer" archive]. What it does is allow a user to define the input, in the automation processs one is static and the other changes. What I have labeled “A” is the changing input. The user defines a list of poker hands which are individually copied into the first field of Holdem Ranger. The field labeled “B” is static. That is copied into the second field on Holdem Ranger and stays the same throughout the process. What the program does in the process is start, for example, with AAo in the first field, and “55+,A9s+,KQs,ATo+” in the second. It then will press “Calc Equities.” Once the result has been returned, it then copies only the first field along with the “equity” to its right [converted to a decimal], it does not press “Copy to Clipboard.” When it has finised the list in field A, it compiles all of the data and presents it in a comma delimited list in the results field.

Now, this script works very well at what it does, however, it is fairly limited. Notice how Holdem Ranger has 6 fields in the hands column, however, the script Hijack HoldemRanger is only able to 2 fields of input. This is because Holdem Ranger has a very difficult time handling more variables simply because of how complex the calculations become, and it becomes unresponsive when it attempts to. There is a very similar program to Holdem Ranger, called PokerStove. While this program is still slow at handling the extra variable, it does not become unresponsive during the calculation so it would be a better candidate for what I am doing.

What I would like is for you to create a program similar to Hijack HoldemRanger except that it works with PokerStove and allows me to use more than 2 variables while recording the result in the “Equity” field next to the first field. I would like to have it be able to run on multiple instances of PokerStove simultaneously. Finally, I would like to have a sort of batch feature installed with the program which I will do my best to explain below:
In the first field I will have the list which will be worked through. In the Second field I will have another variable which we will call 1. In the third field I will have three different variables, X, Y, and Z. I would like to be able to go through the list with the second field set to 1 and then the third field set to X and when it has completed the list in the first field, then change the third field to Y and go through the list again, then change the third field to Z and then stop after it has completed the list.

We are building a system that will enable clients to record invoices that they have sent to their customers. The invoices will be recorded as PDF images on the database (MS SQL Server). The system will follow up, via email, invoices that are unpaid at pre-determined intervals. For example, after 1 day, the system will send email 1 (with the PDF invoice attached)to the customer. After 8 days, the system will send email 2 (again, with the PDF invoice attached) to the customer. And so on. The database will have to be updated to indicate which emails have been sent to whom. All rules concerning the intervals at which emails should be sent, the parties to whom they should be sent and the templates that should be used will be held on the database.

The routine we require will need to: a) determine whether or not an email needs to be sent in respect of an outstanding invoice b) determine which type of email should be sent and to which party c) create the email (using the appropriate template, inserting certain fields and attaching the PDF invoice from the database) d) send the email to the intended recipient and e) record the actions taken in the database.

The routine will be run overnight daily.

We will provide a detailed specification of our requirements to those programmers whose bids and credentials appear reasonable.

Specs as follow:

-Needs to batch resize all pics (jpeg files) in a specified folder (+all its subfolders) with these specs:

+I Need to be able to specify a min+max size

(example, if i set: min size: 640×480 / max size: 1600×1200:
- all pics that are smaller than 640×480 will be resized bigger to match the min size
- all pics that are found bigger than 1600×1200 will be downsized smaller to match the max size)
- all pics that are in between the min/max size will be left untouched

+Need to be able to specify a min+max file size

(example, if i set: min file size: 50kb / max file size: 200kb:
- all pics that are smaller than 50kb will be saved at a bigger size (higher jpeg quality) to match the min file size
- all pics that are found bigger than 200kb will be downsized/compressed (jpeg quality/compressed) to match the max file size

+Needs to keep the initial image ratio & process portrait/landscape images accordingly.

+When i select a folder to batch-resize, it needs to add all the pics found inside its subfolders.
All the new/processed images need to overwrite the old ones.

I have a highly customized Magento store. Magento has a built in option to print all invoices. It does not however include a way to batch invoicing (that is create the invoices). I would like a way of batching the whole process. I also need to include full payment details including credit card numbers and the credit card security number. These invoices are used internally to run the cards manually in a separate system. Finally, I installed a module called checkout fields manager that allows me to ask an additional question at checkout. The contents of this field also need to be included on this invoice. I need this job completed quickly.
