I need a simple PHP/bash script that will be executed by cron.

The script will download the attached CSV file via FTP, and the product inventories will need to be updated in virtuemart (joomla)

I need to write a little script in bash/perl/python..

At the moment I have bash script which just loops command “php cmd.php $1″

I need someone to write in linux bash/perl/python.. Does’t really matter language as long as it works.

It needs to loop “php cmd.php $1″ but also, it needs to check if “php cmd.php $1 has been stuck, then do it again..

Because sometimes my script “cmd.php” gets stuck at “Logging in… OK …” and if it stuck then it needs execute it again.

Basically something like if cmd.php dont give any new response for 5 minutes, it will kill it and start new one.

i have a html template with css and javascript/ajax and need it to be converted to the Blogger.com XML format (Everything from the template must be supported!). It realy must look exactly the same way and fully work with Blogger

We are the License Management department in IT Services of a Global 50 company headquartered in Germany with data centers in over 30 countries. We have an urgent need for a expert HPUX sys admin (preffered) with BASH and WMI VBScript scripting skills to update several scripts in HP Asset Tool that help us discover installations of specific software titles.

HPAT is an agent-less tool that runs on unix/linux/sun (BASH shell scripts) and Windows (WMI VBScript). It consists of a central HPAT server and HP free database that stores the results. The HPAT server connects to the servers being “scanned” vie ssh and copies over the scripts to be executed, including general hardware and software scripts and specific software discovery scripts. Output from the scripts is then formatted using XML and stored in the SQL database on the HPAT server. Reports are then written in SQL and stored as csv/excel files. The operation is similar under Windows

We are looking for a BASH scripting expert (required), also with WMI VBScript (required) experience and a solid SQL background (preferred), to help us over the next 4 weeks update the software discovery scripts to recognize our top 21 suppliers (about 500 titles). the majority of the discovery script structure is “cut and paste” from one script to the next. The differences are in the names of the files to be discovered. the HP HPAT will provide an orientation session and support during the engagement.

The engagement can be done eithe onsite in the Czech Republic or remotely anywhere in the world. Secure access will be given to the HPAT Server via VPN. HP and company support will be provided from the Czech Republic (english speaking) during normal working hours, as well as email.

Script Samples and full SOW will be provided to interested parties. Engagement will start late next week (11/12/2009) if the right candidate is available.

Hi there,

I’m looking for a php and bash scripting expert with experience working with the plesk control panel. I have plesk 8.6 installed on a linux machine and need a php/bash script that will replicate the action of adding a domain via plesk. The script will be passed variables such as domain, username, password etc and the hosting should be set up using a plesk template. The new domain should then appear in plesk so I can create email accounts etc.

Ok while doing some lib upgrades my server went down and now I am facing a really confusing situation. this will tell u :-

-bash: /usr/bin/yum: No such file or directory
root [/etc]# wget
-bash: /usr/bin/wget: /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory
root [/etc]# scp
-bash: scp: command not found
root [/etc]# tar
-bash: /bin/tar: /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory

Now the DC is not responding to my tickets.

Is there anyway you can use to get rpm and yum reinstalled ?

Options I have :-

KVM
Boot from the network.

Is there a geek around who can get this fixed ASAP.
