This site / application will create a semi-static HTML website for an industry specific product. This will be accomplished through a series of questions and menus presented to the client and the sites will be generated based upon ten predefined templates.

The selected provider will be designing the forward facing website, a very web 2.0 look , and five of the templates, I will be supplying the other 5 templates. Template specifications will be provided to the devloper.

There will be a dashboard that all sites created by the same user will be able to navigate to the site and the edit panel from as well as look at web site statistics from google analytics.

The sites generated will also include a contact form that will pass through emails to the client supplied email address, and a small control panel to edit each site, this will be an individual panel for each top level domain.

In the build process the user will have the choice of adding walkscore, google maps and a valuation tool link to the site with the click of a check box.

Store And Retrieve Images

July 2nd, 2009 Comments off

This is a simple project for storing and retrieving images from a MySQL Database. The table has the following structure:

Table Name: GAME_IMAGES
Fields:
IMAGE_UID – Primary Key – BigInt
IMAGE_DESCRIPTION – Text
GAMES_UID – BigInt
GAME_IMAGE – BLOB

The image would be stored in the GAME_IMAGE field and will be a full-size image (most likely 800×600, but could be larger).

What is needed:

1. A web page to PUSH the images into the database (including asking for the Image Description and browsing for the image). Test with GAMES_UID = 1. Should be able to upload MULTIPLE IMAGES (each having their own description), delete images from the database, add more images (all based upon the GAMES_UID).

2. A web page which pulls the images out of the database based upon the GAMES_UID=1 *

* Pulling of the images should include SIZING and adding a watermark.

Configuation File: The configuration file would include database settings, SIZING information, and Watermark information like the following:

// Database connection settings
$db['host'] = ”; // MySQL host
$db['user'] = ”; // User’s name
$db['pass'] = ”; // User’s password
$db['name'] = ”; // Database name

$params['sizing_width'] = 800; // Width in Pixels
$params['sizing_height'] = 600; // Height in Pixels

$params['watermark'] = “http://www.mydomain.com/images/watermark.png” // Watermark Image Location

Summary: A web page will allow a user to upload and store multiple images to the database (based upon GAMES_UID=1). Once the images are stored in the database (full sized), another web page can browse the images. The ‘browse’ web page will automatically size and watermark the images based upon the settings in the configuration file.

Business Requirements:
———————————————————————–
Objective: Build a web application that allows users to register, create a profile and co-ordinate meeting with other registered users in an ambiguous manner.
The site should be capable of near real time messaging upon meeting request being generated and or accepted. In essence, a virtual personal assistant.
Other crucial functionality that is required within the application is geographic contextual recommendations and advertising.

1. A user can create an ambiguous profile that can be accessed using their created alias during the registration process or a unique confirmation/account number.

2. An administrative module that allows for approval of registration submissions. This should allow the admin to view the profile and select approve/dis-approved. Upon doing so the applicant should receive an email and or text message indicating their registration status and provide any feedback in the case the account was not approved.

3. A registered user’s profile consists of a head shot and a short bio accompanied by links that will allow other registered users to request a meeting or communication of some sort.

4. The application must be capable to send text and e-mail appointments and confirmations to registered users.

5. A registered user can organize and manipulate their schedule on a finite basis(that means throughout each X of the day).

6. Registered users can send messages(within the application) and submit request for either a phone or face to face communication.

7. Users can access their daily calendar and messaging by computer or any web enabled mobile device.

8. Users can manipulate and rearrange their schedule. If an appointment with another member is rearranged, than a confirmation message will be sent to that user. Once a daily schedule is confirmed by the user, then a confirmation e-mail is sent.

9. Each approved meeting will result in both contacts information being saved to their own personal

Looking to hire a LONG TERM writer to write/post daily on a variety of blogs(fashion, womens accessories, all things mexico, and real esate).

Requirements:

- Once you get the pictures and information from the source website/blog, completely rewrite IN YOUR OWN words the post information and rename the picture files.
