I installed Fooman Speedster on www.schoolofuniforms.com, but now I lost the /head in the backend.

I disabled Speedster, but now the backend still does not function.

We are looking for a new website based off our existing one (http://www.tantor.com). Our existing site is out-dated not only in look and feel but also in backend coding. The current site was done in ASP classic using JavaScript.

We are looking to find a team to provide us with a new look and feel as well as the complete site re-written in PHP w/ MySql (LAMP). Our site also implements AJAX which we want to maintain but make sure it still works well with tablets. All existing functionality is to be maintained as well as additional functionality. There is one exception, the new site will be strictly for consumers. We will maintain the existing site strictly for libraries.

There is a backend system not publicly accessible that provides us a method to look up, add, and edit costumers, assume a customer identity to place phone orders on there behalf, look up and manage orders, manage advanced discounts, etc.

Some additional enhancements required are improved search, easier navigation, more intuitive account manager, etc. The site should also be easily managed by non technical staff allowing our other departments to make updates where appropriate.

I need a nicely designed website with quite some functionality.
The Frontend should consist of several pages…. for presenting the company, contacts, misc stuff and especially a good list of goods. This list should display items one below the other…. each item should show a bunch of info about the item.
Each item in the preview links to a detailview of that item, showing more info, nicly sorted images (thumbnails with optional enlarging).
A Dorpdown menue should allow adjusting the display… like show 10, 20, 50, all items per page. Another dropdown should allow sorting the list by selected atributes.
The whole frontend should allow different languages. With a default language showing up upon first opening the page and giving a choice of selections somewhere at the top of the page. Once another language has been selected, the page should always reuse this language (so cookie stuff).

The backend should allow adding, modifying, deliting all entries via simple masks. It should be easy to add additional fields to show additional stuff in the preview list and detail view.
The system also needs to present a different logo and use a different default language, depending on what domain-name is used in the request. One DB field should also indicate, what item should be visible on what domain. So the backend needs to have the ability to manage a list of domains.. and make this list available in a dropdownlist, where I can select the domains, where an item should be visible.

Timeframe for this is 2 max 3 weeks. Design needs to be nice, clean and professional. (centered design with easy navigation).
This should be a stand-alone project.. so no joomla, nuke or whatever modification!

Ideally, you could write something that would check the backend database for tblDataLocations, and, if it doesn’t exist, it would be created, but the backend can be in literally any location.

If you can’t create the backend table, I need to create code that will allow the user to browse to the new backend file, name it and have the name they gave it and the datapath stored in the tblDataLocations. If they want to select a new backend, they will be presented with a form with the locations they have previously entered or they will have the ability to add a new location.

When the user exits the program, the information in the tblDataLocations needs to exported to a text file stored in the program folder. (Always C:Program FilesMansker EnterprisesAD).

When the user reopens the software it needs to check to see if there are records in the tblDataLocations table. If not, it needs to check to see if the text file exists. If it does, import the data into the tblDataLocations table. If not, do nothing.

Gallery Backend Development

Overview:
We are putting together a Portfolio Management System and need someone to help develop a jQuery based image gallery backend. Some of the parameters or settings for the gallery or gallery images will come from a MySQL table. The use of Flash is strongly discouraged. The gallery “frontend” we are using is Gallerific. The MySQL tables have not been put together yet. The chosen developer will have the option of building them them-self’s or working with me to build them.

1) No ajax save calls. Must use a “Save” button.

2) Dashboard
The end user must be presented with a screen indicating how many galleries they currently have and how many images are in each gallery. The number of galleries and the number of images per gallery is subject to change. This info is stored in a MySQL table.

3) Allow end user to set each images’s title and description

4) Allow for multiple galleries
The system must allow the end user to create and manage multiple galleries. The number of galleries and images per gallery is set in a MySQL table.

5) Password protected galleries
The end user must be able to set passwords for any of their galleries. Some gallery content might be private therefore the end user must be able to set a password so the gallery can be viewed by others the end user chooses to share the password with.

6) Gallery Thumbnails
The end user must be able to mark one of the thumbnails in each gallery to help identify that gallery from the list of that users galleries.

7) Image Flagging
End user must be able to flag photos intended for mature audiences only.

Upload images
Would like to see some neat ajaxy type upload. Would really prefer not to use Flash.

9) Delete images
End user must have a way of removing a thumbnail and all the images that go with that thumbnail.

10) Automatically scale the uploaded images
Some end users will upload extremely large digital camera images. These need to be scaled down to any number of sizes determined in the MySQL table. The original can be deleted.

11) Crop images into thumbnails
The end user must have the option to be able to crop images to make thumbnails similar to http://www.webmotionuk.co.uk/jquery/image_upload_crop.php

12) Sorting of thumbnails
The end user must be able to change the order of the images by dragging the thumbnails.

13) Sorting of galleries
The end user must be able to change the order of the galleries by dragging the thumbnails.

End user must have a way (other than re-uploading) of moving an image to a different gallery.

15) Error checking/handling/validation
Your software must use validation to help minimize error input. Your software must employ client side and server side validation.

16) Compatibility
Your software must be compatible with IE 7 and greater, Safari 4 and greater, Firefox 3 and greater, Chrome 5 and greater on both Windows and Mac OS X.

17) Security
Your software must be free of any potential attacks and exploits such as but not limited to Cross-site scripting (XSS), Injection Attacks, etc.
