Find And Register Domains

December 9th, 2011 Comments off

We need a program which will be able to find and register domains.

This is how the program should work:
We will indicate the .txt file for the list of .CH (Switzerland) domains. The program will check availability for these domains one-by-one at http://www.nic.ch . If the program finds an available domain it stops, logs in to nic.ch account and orders the domain. After ordering the domain the program logouts from the account and continues checking domains from the place where it stopped.

Zen Cart Modifications.

November 8th, 2011 Comments off

The following tasks need to be implemented in zen cart.

1. Create a traffic light style system that shows customers approximate stock levels. For example:

Green = Good Availability (Greater than 50%)
Orange = Fair Availability (30% to 50%)
Red = Limited Availability (1% to 29%)

2.Create an optional calendar that I can attach to products so that customers can book a time and date for their first lesson or assessment. This needs to come up after purchase or in the process of purchase.

Domain Name Availability Checker Addons – For Alos

Can you make every column set up the same way as the pending delete & pending renewal columns (with all 5 columns nested inside of them) and remove the message that says “cannot check for .org in upload file” from the UI.

Availability Calendar

May 5th, 2011 Comments off

I need someone to code an availability calendar for a rental property in php using a mysql table. The property has two flats and our page visitors need to be able to see online when the flats are available. The script does not involve any online bookings for the customer. The script just needs to have a front-end where users can see what dates are available and a back-end where I can put in what dates are already taken for both flats.

A. Front End

A user will have two links: one link to check availability for Flat A and one link to check avaiability for Flat B. Once the user has chosen the flat, he will see an overview which looks exactly like the attached graphic (availability_calendar.png). It shows what the calendar should look like. The script should always show the next 12 months by default, starting with the month that is selected in the top right drop-down. If I changed the value in the top-right drop-down to March 2013, the script would show me months March 2013 until February 2014. I would like the calendar to have an exact width of 600px with 3 months per row. You have to use a very elegant design.

B. Back End interface

In the back-end I can block the dates which have already been taken and store it in a db. When you show the front-end calendar, you query the db to find out what dates to mark as red. I would like the backend to work as follows:

a) First, I can choose which flat I want to manage: Flat A or Flat B.

b) Once a flat is selected, I can see the reservations that have already been made for this flat. For this, I simply need a table with three columns: “Date range, family name, options”. Please see the attached graphic “backend_overview_a.png” for more detail. I would like you to order the reservations starting with the lowest “arrive_date” value.

c) at the bottom of the field, I will have a button where I can “Add a new reservation”. When I click on this link a form will open with three fields: “From:” (arrive_date), “Until:” (leave_date), “Family name:” (customer_name). The name in brackets is the value for the sql.

d) When I click on “edit” for an existing reservation, I would also like to have the form that I get for a new reservation, but the fields should be prefilled with the info for this reservation to be edited. I then need an “update” button.

// When you code this script, you will need to use your own db at the beginning, as we haven’t finished setting up our database yet.

To confirm that you have read and understood the entire project, it is absolutely necessary that you start your application with the words “I have read everything…” so that I can immediately filter out those who did not read it all.

Also, please be aware that the calendar for the front-end should be in German. I can change the wording in the backend script myself!

Wp Batting Cage Availability Schedule Plugin

April 10th, 2011 Comments off

I’m needing a simple plugin for a WordPress webstie for a small company that runs batting cages.

They currently have 3 cages / slots. They need to show the availability of these 3 slots online, so customers can see when they could come in to bat. The customers/visitors also needs to be reserve available times for the cages.

No payment options. Just times and availability. Payments will all take place in the physical store.

Visitors need to be able to signup with username/email/password to schedule a time/slot.

There needs to be some kind of admin screen for in the physical store so they can reserve times for the walk-in customers as they come in.

Current store hours are 5pm to 9pm, but will change in the summer time to 1pm to 9pm.

They currently have 3 cages, they could add more in the future. Need to be able to add slots to the system.

All needs to be super easy and user friendly for the cusotmers and in-store admins.

I’m open to using any existing plugins if they meet all the requirements needed.

Volusion: Shopping Cart Change

January 6th, 2010 Comments off

Here are the tasks:

Currently the ShoppingCart.asp page of our Volusion site shows only each product’s picture, name, quantity, price and total.

* We need to add a column that shows Stock Status (out-of-stock, in-stock) and another column that shows Availability (ex: item will ship in 2 business days)

* We need the Shopping Cart items and stock/availability columns to display on the Order Confirmation page.

* We need the Shopping Cart items and stock/availability columns to display on the Order Confirmation EMAIL that the customer receives

* We also need to edit the PO_To_Vendor.asp file so that when POs are generated, the CUSTOMER’s name and address are appended automatically to the ASP file.

Please respond with your price and your time frame. We’re are looking for top quality work from expert programmers with experience in volusion.

Sitereservations

December 14th, 2009 Comments off

This is a system that will allow online reservation of motorhome pitches at multiple campsites on a per-night basis with online payment.

Requirements are:

~ Customers select from one of (x) sites each with (y) pitches

~ The input form they are taken to has a visual availability check (availability calendar) for that site

~ They input an arrival date and number of nights. This is checked for availability and if available added to basket

~ They can then choose another site, check availability and book further nights. This is then added to their basket.

~ When they have booked all the nights they want they check out via PayPal

~ The customer is sent an invoice with a unique reference number. A copy of this email is also sent to another address – but preferably with just the unique reference number on it, not the price details.

~ The client can log in to an admin area and check all order details

The application needs to be easily styled via CSS to blend in with the rest of the website, or it could work in an i-frame.

I need to see something similar that the programmer has done before.

High Availability Asterisk

October 14th, 2009 Comments off

Looking for someone to setup a HA Asterisk Server (PBX In a Flash), you can use whatever method you like (although only two nodes and guessing HeartBeat would be the easiest). There is only SIP traffic so no need to deal with any TDM cards etc. This will be running FreePBX thus the trick here will be keeping the databases sync’d. Ideally you would just setup a mysql cluster to solve the problem, although other solutions are welcomed.

You will be givin root logins to both machines and any software needed we can get you.

Check Domain Availability

I would like to have a script that checks domain availability added to my website. I was thinking something much the same as www.networksolutions.com search for a domain name.

I would like to have something similar to that on my front page of my website (under construction atm www.albwebdesign.com.au/new_index.php) and then the result will be displayed on a separate page. Can send my current web pages on request

Paypal Button Needed

August 29th, 2009 Comments off

We own a hostel in the United States and sell beds for rent to tourists over the internet. You can view a sample payment page online at www.loftstel.com/bf/reserve.php

We currently have two methods for guests to make a reservation.
- method 1 is for them to make a long-term reservation (1 month or more) by using the “Pay Now” button. This button is designed through Paypal.
- method 2 is for them to make a short-term reservation (less than 1 month) by using the “search prices” button on the bottom section.

There are a few limitations to this system.
- The Paypal button for long-term reservations is static. If we would like to update our monthly prices, we have to re-design the html for the button and re-install it on our website.
- the short-term reservation button on the bottom is a third-party code. We would like this function to be in-house so we can better control the inventory and prices.

We manage our reservations (as well as the pricing and availability for each bed on a particular date) through Google Docs. You can view a sample of our reservations by visiting this link:

http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pByE3lHm3YkD7YE3-l7cbbw&single=true&gid=15&output=html

The spreadsheet can also be exported as a CSV or TXT feed through Google Docs. Notice how the price & availability for every date is listed.

We are looking for a programmer to create us an easy-to-use interface for our guests to make reservations. The button should do the following items:
- have a user-friendly interface with (1) a drop-down menu of the room options, (2) the check-in date of the guest, and (3) a drop-down menu to indicate the length of their stay
- pull the information from the reservations page (the availability and the price) to calculate the total balance for the guest
- process the payment through Paypal (or another credit card processor)
- send an automated email (which we can customize) to the buyer
- send a notification email to a designated email address notifying us of the purchase

We encourage you to email us if you have any questions. Here is how the escrow payments will break down:

10% – deposit to start.
20% – button is created that successfully integrates with our reservations
10% – program a back-end interface for us to be able to define variables (such as the contents of the automated email, the email address of the recipient of the automated email)
10% – button sends automated email to buyer after purchase
10% – button sends automated email to us after purchase

20% – test button is released. user will experiment with it for 1 week to work out any bugs and errors.
20% – project is completed.

Hotel Availability And Booking

July 29th, 2009 Comments off

I am a licensed travel agency which requires around 40 of our contracted hotels to be accessable to customers on a website. Customers must be able to check availability of hotels for particular dates and pay for bookings (we have an established online merchant facility with a bank). The hotel managers should also be able to adjust the availability with their own log-in on the website.

Photos and Ratings of each hotel will need to be displayed when the customer clicks on them.

I can do the SEO part, however this can be included as part of the job. We have other jobs which will follow the successful completion of this one.

Thanks.

The code needs to be clean and optimized to minimize server and bandwidth utilization.
The site also needs to be cross browser compatible, and search engine optimized as best as possible (We realize this is not an SEO project).

Feature requirements for the site:

- The site is primarily advertising and donation supported.
Each page/section needs to be able to display up-to 8 different ads including Google ads optimized to show ads relevant to the current product on Woot.com.
Each ad zone needs to be configurable within an admin panel to refresh as different intervals, track displays, track clicks and add/remove/enable/disable ads.
Contextual & Inline ads need to be able to display for all text located on the site including item description.

- The information displayed on the site needs to be refreshed within a certain time variable configured in an admin panel.
The page should not need to reload to refresh the information, but only sections whose information has changed should refresh (possible Ajax)

- The site needs to be able to detect a woot off and change settings dynamically in this situation.
The refresh rate of the above sections need to go into Wootoff mode and based on settings in admin panel.

- The site needs to play an audio file for 4 scenarios, each with its own audio:

Audio files should only play once for each instance except for paying members who should be able to configure when the files play, and how often.
The page should also be able to grab focus of the screen, a feature which can be enabled by paying members.

+ Main page containing:
Woot off indicator.
Current woot item.

Research For Real Estate App

June 16th, 2009 Comments off

I have a client with the following needings for a web application. I’d like you to research which applications are on the market today that cover a minimum of 50% of the functionality described below.

I need something that is open source and free, or something that is paid but gets me the full code after payment. I have a maximum of $2000,-.

To complete this task you obviously have to have experience with web application projects.

I’d like you to research this for a maximum of 4 hours and report back to me.

- [ ] This is a project for a web application that helps with organising the availabilty or occupance of rooms. And does billing and contract management. And stores documents.
- [ ] Organising rooms
- [ ] Client has a number of properties, with different floors and a vast number of different rooms on each floor. The program should help dealing with information about the renters of the rooms and should give a lot of filtered overviews of availability.
- [ ] Per room the system should store and display information about current and previous renters. Also it should be able to store information (like number of square meters) and notes about the specific room.
- [ ] Per floor, the system should store and display availability across the floor in a list of all rooms on that floor.
- [ ] Per property, the system should store and display availability across the property in a list of all rooms on all floors.
- [ ] All these views should be filterable in as much ways as possible. For instance ‘only show available rooms on floors 3 to 5′.
- [ ] The system should keep track of which rooms are free, are rented and are going to be rented in the future.
- [ ] When a renter starts renting a room, the system should start a wizard where client can enter the agreement with the renter (there is a specific contract with pricing per month/year/etc, contract duration, payment terms, etc. with certain exceptions). Also, the system should check if the room is indeed available in the selected period.
- [ ] The system should keep track of income per room, per renter and per property.
- [ ] Billing
- [ ] The system keeps track of how long a specific room is rented, and when payments are due.
- [ ] There should be an overview screen of all payments that are due, and are going to be due. This screen should offer advanced filter functionality (for example: only show due payments of specific building or floor 3 to 5)
- [ ] There should be PDF batch export functionality of due payments. The design of the invoice will differ per property.
- [ ] Renters
- [ ] The system should keep track of all renters, and should store personal information, and show rented rooms, due payments, a history of rented objects and rooms and should store notes.
- [ ] Contract management
- [ ] When a client rents a new room, a specific contract is made. The system should store all these contracts in this view. It should offer a wide array of filter functionality.
- [ ] Contracts can have different statuses: future, live, old, etc.
- [ ]
- [ ] Admin user levels
- [ ] There should be multiple user levels.
- [ ] The admin level has acces to everything
- [ ] The moderator level has acces to (and should be able to edit) information about only one specific property. He should be able to access the Rooms view, billings and contract views.

Domain Checker- Google Keyword

June 1st, 2009 Comments off

I am looking for a
1. bulk domain availability checker
plus
2. domain suggestion generator

1. BULK DOMAIN UNAVAILABILITY CHECKER – has a field where you enter a list of domain names to check for availability of each. The names can be entered in with or without extensions included. There will be a checkbox for each of the major TLDs(.com,.net,.info, etc). These checkboxes can be used if extensions were not included on the end of the end domain names entered in with the results showing available or not available for each.

With the results, there will be a column added with links to maybe the top-five domain registrars that can be clicked on so my website visitor can then register the domain(s) that they want. The links will be affiliate links. The link should be redirects from my website so as not to have the ugly looking affiliate code attached in the status bar when hovered over.

I have a couple of examples of open source bulk domain availability checkers that can be used as a foundation. Check the attached images and files.

2. DOMAIN SUGGESTION GENERATOR + CHECKER – has a field where you enter a keyword or phrase, searches the keyword(s) using Google’s keyword suggestion tool while also searching for domain availability of each of the keywords suggested for the TLD(.com,.net,.info, etc) that is selected with the results showing available or not available for each along with showing the stats from Google’s keyword tool for each. only one extension can be selected per search (.com,.net,.info, etc), because I think this generator will create many names to check.

This tool will also have the option of including hyphens “-” (by checking a checkbox) between words when a keyword returned from google’s keyword tool is a phrase rather than a single word. If this option is selected, it would check domain availability WITH AND WITHOUT hyphens. If the option is not selected, it searches by default only, with no hyphens.

Something else I would like to add to the domain suggestion generator – I already have a misspelling function (generates misspellings of a keyword that is entered in) that I would like to integrate into the script, to generate misspellings of the keyword entered, and check Google’s keyword tool and show the results – I don’t know if this will be a very productive function or not, but I think it would be for Internet users who type a domain name directly in their browser’s address bar. Again, this option could be selected by checking a checkbox.

2 other options – an “add prefix” and “add suffix” checkboxes. I could enter in a list of prefixes and a list of suffixes for the script to use, from the admin page. The domain names generated with these prefixes or suffixes SHOULD NOT BE checked with Google’s keyword tool for stats, as they’ll not be popular search terms, I do not think.

So, the page that the script is on would basically show two options(I guess divided into the right have been left half of the page):

#1. The bulk domain availability checker where users can paste in many domain names to have checked. The field in which they enter the domain names should be relatively tall vertically.

#2. On the right-hand side of the page will be the domain suggestion generator that has a single line field where a keyword or keyword phrase is entered in. It will also have a checkbox to search for misspellings, another checkbox that when selected will add prefixes, and another checkbox that when selected will add suffixes to the keyword entered.
****Any domain name generated with the prefixes or suffixes should NOT be checked for Google’s stats.

The attached files should give you a better understanding.

This script should be able to handle up to 1000 domains (hopefully, or more?, can be configured on the admin page) at once, without getting banned or whatever, for both the bulk checker as well as the google’s keyword tool retriever/checker tools.

So, you tell me if some sort of proxy support needs to be integrated? Can JavaScript be used so that my website visitors IP address will get credit for the searches rather than my website’s IP address?

Obviously the script needs to work well.

Here are some videos explaining what I want, if the description above isn’t good enough.

The budget for this project is $100.00 USD max.
Please don’t bid or contact us to let us know how great your company is and how you could do so much of a better job for more money.

The objective of this project is to rebuild & redesign Wootpro.com which is a Woot Tracking Website.

There is existing code for the site however we wish for it to be used only as reference and prefer a complete recode of the site.
The site needs to be coded in ASP and capable of running on a Windows 2003/IIS server with the utilization on a MySQL backend if needed and utilizing CSS.

Calendar Reservation System

May 13th, 2009 Comments off

Calendar Reservation System for Website.

This is a project for a standalone appointment booking system.
The purpose of this system is to allow clients to visit website, view appointment availability via calendar and make a real time booking.

The users will be able to select a specific time based on availability and reserve the time required.

Users can book online – or can have an administrator reserve a booking slot via the website.

This system can be built from scratch, or you can use open source software – but no software that requires an annual license/support fee or that has encoded code.

You will not create the whole website, just a PHP standalone system ready for integration.

So PLEASE do not give us a generic sales pitch and samples of irrelevant e-commerce websites because we won’t look at them.

You must be expert in PHP/MySQL and Ajax.

*** IMPORTANT ***
To increase your chances of winning this project please write a short, relevant proposal and provide us with samples of your work and experience to assist us with our selection.

GENERAL FEATURES:
-PHP/MySQL based admin panel, Ajax user interface, standalone booking system
-Time Slot Based booking online Calendar, adjustable vai admin to 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour blocks (per Resource/Manager)

Domain Checker/google Keyword

May 12th, 2009 Comments off

I am looking for a
1. bulk domain availability checker
plus
2. domain suggestion generator that has a field where you enter a keyword or key words, searches the keyword(s) using into Google’s keyword suggestion tool while also searching for availability of each of the key words suggested for each TLD(.com,.net,.info, etc), with the results showing available or not available for each along with showing the stats from Google’s keyword tool for each.

This script will also have the option of including hyphens “-” between words when a keyword generated is a phrase rather than a single word. if this option is selected, it would check domain availability WITH AND WITHOUT hyphens.

It will also have a checkbox to search domain availability and stats for misspellings, another checkbox that when selected will add prefixes and suffixes to the key word entered. Any domain name generated with these prefixes or suffixes should not be checked with Google’s keyword tool for stats, as they’ll not be popular search terms, I do not think.

I have attached an image that gives a rough idea of what the page would look like. I will try to create something to show what the results page would look like, for both the bulk checker and the suggestion generator and add it to this project description.

This script should be able to handle up to 1000 domains (hopefully, or more?) at once, without getting banned or whatever, for both the bulk checker as well as the google’s keyword tool retriever/checker tools.

Obviously the script needs to work well.

This script will be put on a website and may need tied into a domain registrar’s API?, such as Enom.

So, I WOULD LIKE A SEPARATE PRICE THAT YOU WOULD CHARGE FOR EACH OF THEse THREE DIFFERENT VERSIONS:

*
#1. Instead of tying in with any API, A STAND-ALONE VERSION THAT WOULD INSTEAD GIVE LINKS TO MAYBE 5 OF THE MOST POPULAR REGISTRARS, so the visitors can then register their choices of the domains at whichever they choose.

#2. Tied into a domain registrar’s API, such as Enom.com. Name.com is also creating an API, it would be nice if it would also work with it, if/when the API is ready soon.

#3. I’d also like to know if it is possible to tie into Namecheap’s site that they give resellers. If it is possible, I WOULD LIKE A SEPARATE PRIcE FOR INTEGRATING IT WITH WHAT WITH THEY OFFER. They already offer domain suggestions, but the suggestions would be different than what this tool generates.
