Auction Site

March 9th, 2010 Comments off

I’m searching for an auction site that does the following:

- admin or superuser can only place products for sale (so 1 account)
- visitors of site can only bid on products (so they cannot offer their own products)

If you have a script running that does the above please post links to front and back end.

ps. it’s a plus if you can show me more templates that can be applied on your script. and also if it contains language files.

I need a site clone similar to quibids.com

it is an auction/bid site where you buy bids from the site. The site will have different items up for auction that people can place a bid.

once a bid is placed the auction price will go up 2 cents for each bid and time will be added to the auction timer.

I pretty much want the exact clone of quibids.com but the layout will be different and i will need an admin section that i can use to upload new items and configure the timer settings and bid amounts.

I looking to get a website like swoopo or perfect bid. It needs to be 100% working without any errors or bugs. I had already tried one script that I purchased that had some errors. Please only bid if your script is functional 100% and reliable. Will choose bid that has a quality website at a reasonable cost.

I would like a site similar to bidboogie.co.uk or swoopo.com.
A minutes auction site that has a minimum price to be achieved before the auction can end.
The users have to pay for bids packages and use them in the auction objects. Each bid values 1 cent of an Euro.
The paying terminal should be integrated and accept PayPal, credit and debit cards.
I would like to see a descriptive project feature checklist or a demo.

Create Top Luxury Auction Site

Dear All, I’m looking for a team or someone capable to create a complete auctions web site. I’m giving below a maximum of information in order to receive relevant and competitive bids. Thanks
My auction web site has to be based on an existing web site but with the auctions system instead of the fixed price (almost same policies). This web site is a mall gathering different professionals who made their own shops. I have myself a shop on this web site. I can give you the access in order to develop easier my own web site.
On this web site, each dealer can manage his own shop through the following menu:
-Sales: where they see:
o a summary of the current bidders
o any announcement from myself
o Standard of quality guidelines (for the pictures, the description)
o The laws of success
-Inventory where they create items with max 7 pictures per item, categories, sub-categories
-My account with different tabs (general information, shipping info, customer payment, policies, guarantee, summary, billing)
-My pages with the text of the home page and the contact us tab
-Promotional tools (shop announcement, vacation mode, promotion,..)
-FAQ or Help files
Some extra informations:
Design: very elegant (black and white) with some light dynamic effects or areas that can be used also by the dealers to promote some items. The objective is really to seduce high brands and collectors. I will need to be able to put some video shows on the site. Auctions calendar on the home page + announcement of next auctions.
Min Two languages: English and French (I will provide the translation)
Approbation of new items: To insure a very high level of products and exclusivity, I want to approve every new items
Pricing/commission: I want to have two kinds of pricing accessible only when the person has registered: for the professionals who make a shop and for the private individual that might sell only one item. For the private, I will provide an expertise service.
Visitors can see the summary of auctions items with the first picture and a short description. When they want to see more, they need to register.
I want to be able to use automatically the database of visitors or the professionals to make emailing.
Invoicing of the commission: Systematic invoicing of our commission/fees generated for each dealer based on :
-A monthly fee
-A fee per new item
-A commission on sales
-Specific promotions on the home page (in dynamic areas)
The invoice amount will have to be automatically deduced from the dealer account through Visa, Amex or Mastercard.
Payment facilities when a bidder wins an auction: the source of payments should appear when the bidder has just won the auction (example: paypal, credit card, ) in order to place instantly the deposit.
I need to be able to update myself some contents, to create eventually a new category, to put a new video show, etc. Easy back-office to manage, I’m not a specialist even if I made some ERP implementation in the past… thanks
I now referring to some relevant comments that I found on another project summary :
-I’m asking you to prove a prior or similar experience
-Timeline is very sensitive

Freelance-firm Auction Site

I need a website that is similar to Elance. It will need to be secure. I will need help finding a good escrow service that we can integrate with the system, etc.

I want it to look good, but it does not have to be fancy with a lot of Ajax or anything. If using a pre-existing paid-for or open source solution will save money, but all means let’s do it. Then I would just need you to tweak the design, set up the escrow, secure the site, etc.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I want a clone of www.bidster.com

A website that offers items to be won by the lowest unique bidder.
-Auto-messages are sent to users’ emails to notify them about their bidding status (ex: if their lowest unique bid got beaten)
-A system that enables users to refer the site to their msn list, and give prizes (ex: more bidding opportunities), to users with high referrals.
-A counter than counts the number of bids done, and gives discount prizes based on that.
-A system that allows the admin to introduce bots to the bidding game, enabling them to participate.
