I need an attendance software to be developed in PHP & MySQL. The attendance software is for an education institution and not for a company. People who have already done it are most welcome. I would like to get this completed in a short time frame. A perfect bug free application with a super modern back end to administer the application is needed. The application will hold more than 10,000 records per day. I want a very stable application with security features.

I have the documentation, Logos, Websites, Presentations etc.. I just need the PHP work to be done. I can even provide you the back end admin panel skeleton if it may reduce the time.

I want unlimited revisions to be done to the application as and when I give you me feedback. A person who is easy to reach is desired. Please provide a quote for the application and a separate quote for the maintenance.

Specific expertise/background that I am seeking:
Strong PHP Skills. I want someone who can implement my ideas into code.

Timeframe for delivery:
Need to get it done in 10-15 days.

Project Background:

Teachers will be using ipad to mark attendance for students, and also, this system will need to cache whatever students profile on the ipad, on the event of no network connectivity.

Once network resumes, the software will upload the attendnace back to the server.

Please see attached files on how the system looks.

We already have the web service and DB ready. Once the project commerces, we will send the web service, documentation for the web service, and the DB over to start work.

Deliverables:

1. May 7th, 2011, 6PM GMT+8 – First Milestone
2. May 8th, 2011, 6PM GMT+8 – Final Delivery – everything needs to be done.

Note: Homework Alert and Chatbox does not need to be implemented – Remove these 2 buttons
Also, Academic Report and Additional Details need not be implemented as well (just do a pop up – No Data Available)

On Sign In, it will download the Tingkatan 1-5 (Grade 1-5); then it will show the classes for that year. The downloaded data will be cached on the ipad itself.

On Submitting the attendance, it will send to the server for reporting purposes, and also, will SMS the dad (or mom, if dad’s mobile no is not in the system) saying that the student is ABSENT.

SMS/Email: The teacher can also send an SMS to the parent’s mobile no (only dad’s mobile. In the event that there’s no number, it will send to the mom’s moblie no). Email will send to both parents’ email address.

Attendance: It will show from January till December. The first day of the week is Sunday, last day of the week is Thursday. On clicking on the month, it should show:

We have 30 employees and contractors all over the country working as consultants. Currently, they report their timesheets using papers and faxes. We want to convert this to a secured login system where they report their hours worked for that pay period. Then all this data is aggregated by our corporate office by adding in administrative details about their project. For example, we want to track their phone number, email address, City of Current Assignment, expense reimbursements, client company, their bill rate to our clients, the employee’s pay rate, etc…

Then at payroll, we would have a total amount to be paid to each personnel. Additionally, because we know the hours worked, and bill rates to our clients, we would have our invoice information ready to bill to our clients without much more paperwork.

There would need to be good user-interface created per this assignment, along with secured access by each person, and reports created to see things like: total payroll for the pay period, looking back at previous pay periods, paid vacation, unpaid time off, project total pay (showing how much a consultant has been paid so far on a given project – pull down menu of projects, etc…). We would need some administrative rights to manage forgotten passwords, etc…

We want to be able to lock a particular pay period after a certain deadline and it becomes viewable only. This way, employees can’t change hours later and say we paid them too little. There would be administrative safety things like this to make the site safe and friendly.

To create a form that allows people to register their interest and rsvp to attend an event situated in a variety of locaitons

Here are the next things for the site that I would like to get done.

1. For the leagues that get created I want to add a logo. So that we have a logo that we can display
2. When I go on available teams, I want the logo of the team and the logo of the league displayed as well
3. When I click on standings, I need the standings of my teams league displayed without selection but I also need the option later to select other leagues standings as we have it now.
4. The standings need to be colored. Places 1-8 need a color and 9-X another color. I need these colors to be editable in the backend.
5. I need the play offs calculated. This should work as follows. The first eight teams of each league make it into the play offs. They play like this according to their standings: 1vs8,2vs7,3vs6 and 4vs5. They play it as a best of five which means they play until the first team has three wins. The winner moves on to the semi final where the best team of the first round plays the worst. So let’s assume 1,3,4 and 7 won their games, the next round would be 1vs7 and 3vs4. Again, best of five and then the final best of five again.
Of course this needs to be displayed nicely with the games and scores and dates. Each game should be on a different date and the dates should be editable in the backend.
The winner of the highest league in one country should be the champion.
The winner of a lower league should move up one league.
The attendance needs to be calculated for these games as well. We use the formula we already have. I need something in the backend where I can do the following changes:
We have our normal attendance and I want to increase this by X %. This means I want something in the backend for the first play of round where I can set a value for the min and max. For example I want between 20-30% more people I have a min of 20 and a max of 30 in the backend. The program chooses by random a number between 20 and 30 and multiplies the attendance by that number.
The same for the semi finals. I need an option to enter numbers for that and then again for the final.
6. I need the play downs calculated. All teams from position 9 to X need to play the play downs. They will play each other once at home and once away. So in our leagues with 14 teams, we would have 10 games. 5 home games and 5 away games for each team. This will generate a table again and the last team of this table will go down a league.
The last team of the lowest league is just last and nothing happens.
7. We need a balance sheet. This should only be viewable for each manager, so not public. The start budget is what each team gets for the start. Of course each team has spending and income.
Spendings right now are: Players salaries
Earnings right now are: Income from attendance, Sponsor payments (not finished yet)
The salaries of each player need to be deducted after each game. This is the salary per game that the player has. No matter if the player plays or not, this needs to be deducted. Also the amount agreed per goal needs to be deducted if a player scores a goal. This should also be done right after the game.
The income from the attendance needs to be added after each home game to the home team. Of course this is Attendance * ticket price
When something is deducted or added, an Email should be send to the manager and it should be listed on the website in the managers balance.

We are looking for a stand alone, Windows based, software/hardware
combination for managing class attendance. This should be quite
similar to the time attendance solution, but the students have to pay
for the assigned and attended classes, rather than to be paid for them.
The solution should work together with QuickBooks business financial
software. There should be an option for the students to be identified
by their fingerprints. E.g. Nitgen Hamster fingerprint reader or
something similar could be used.

I need the following data entered

I need an excel macro with coding that shows me each punch in and punch out for an employee and totals the amount of hours and minutes that the employee has worked for the day.
I’ll try to break the current process I use into separate steps, so that you can more easily follow the logic and create the code.

We’ve been providing teaching webinars using GoToMeeting service. However, we are now trying to automate this process by playing pre-recorded 90 min webinars as a flash video. Our GOAL is that the audience still feels it is a LIVE WEBINAR (otherwise the attendance goes down). Usual attendance is 200-400 viewers simultaneously.

We tried using a streaming server and starting it at the advertised time, ie 6pm PST, BUT that is cost prohibitive.

That would give an impression of a live event.

One way we think it could be done is – on the webpage where the “live” presentation will be happening, there’s a screen where the webinar will be playing with a countdown clock (starting from a few days from the webinar, counting down to the last second before the start).
When a viewer logs into that page, he sees the clock counting down, and at 00:00 the webinar starts.
The webinar (flash movie) should probably download at the beginning and not be streamed – this way we lower the cost of not having a streaming server. However, we need to be able to support a few hundred people downloading it at the time (if that is only constraint we may limit the attendance to 50 or less in that case).

Now, there has to be a code written that will start playing the flash movie based on when the user got to that page. If an user got there at 6:01pm, the webinar will start 1min in the presentation. If an user got there at 7:01pm, the webinar will start at 61min in the presentation. That way, the users/viewers have the experience of a live webinar.
