Email Merge With Unique Attachments

November 21st, 2011 Comments off

We have all of our mail merge and email merge data organized in an excel spreadsheet. In addition we have generated 1-page unique pdf’s from the content in each row of the spreadsheet. We would now like to figure out how to send a personalized email out to our recipients and include their unique pdf with each individual email.

We’re looking for a process that will work for this. We already know how to do the mass email with merged fields to make it personalized. But we cannot figure out …

Outlook Script For Removing Attachments – Final Spec

September 6th, 2011 Comments off

Apologies all, the client wants to go back to this original spec.

I need a script to allow users to detach attachments from emails to prevent the Exchange server getting bloated.

Nicola Delfino has a VBA script that is nearly working, but if there are multiple attachments it fails. The script is here:
http://blogs.msdn.com/b/nicold/archive/2009/10/22/how-to-remove-attachments-from-outlook-2007-emails-easily.aspx

As per his script, I would like the email to have the detached file names inserted in the body. However, it would be beneficial to allow the user to choose where each file is saved to.

However, I would like to allow the user to choose where each file is saved to, with an option to skip if required. Skipping the file should remove it and stamp the body as removed. It should also prompt with the last saved location to save time when saving to long paths.

Imap Mail To Mysql Db

July 20th, 2011 Comments off

We are looking for a developer who can assist us to develop a PHP script for a support system that can fetch email from a mail account (such as gMail and/or IMAP ), store the message, header in a mysql table and remove email from server.

The script must also be able to collect the attachments and save the attachments to a folder on the server and the attachments are to be linked to the said message.

The system must recognise if the ticketid is in the subject line and checks to see if we have already got the id within the system.

We are not opened to be using a webmail app as this is needed to complete a support system that we have been developing for a client.

We would like the html messages to be converted to plain text so, strip out all the html code.

We have already got a table setup but may need to be altered.

I am needing a script or program to download attachments from an IMAP SSL account on my mail server.

1. The script / program must run on Linux and you must provide source code. I prefer PHP or Perl.
2. The IMAP account must be accessed with SSL
3. The script must be run from CLI, no HTML please. I need to run the script daily from a scheduled task (cron).
4. Attachments must be saved in a directory I designate.
5. Attachments will be large, 7+ MB.
6. After all attachemnt are downloaded I need all email to be deleted from mail server.

You will not have access to our Linux server, you will have to provide your own testing environment. I will provide the mail account that the script will be pulling attachments from.

Please be confident that you can complete this project in a timely manor and that you have dealt with email in the past.

I have already had 2 other programers work on this and still don’t have a program that I am confident that it works properly.

Skilled And Experienced Php & Mysql Professional Programmer

Hello, I am in need of a fluently English speaking PHP and MySQL Professional for the creation of control panel for a site we are currently building the front end and database structure for. Use of Gtalk and email are my preferred means of communication)

Our usual Script lance programmer is on another project but he did estimate this project to be a solid two day job for a SKILLED and EXPERIENCED PHP Professional programmer, but doable (although longer) for someone who is not very experienced… so I can give a larger time frame fro completion, but please when bidding estimate how much time you will need accurately).

We need an admin/control panel built that will allow the users (branch table is currently the only table with data) to lo gin and maintain their version of the site (their individual sites are referenced by tacking on the branchid=123 to the index PHP file) , each users site has the ability to have several sections each including areas for text, images and files/documents (attachments). All files and images are uploading into their own table (Pictures & Attachments) and referenced by id in section that called them in a pipe

Auto Save Mime Attachments To Linux Server

April 15th, 2011 Comments off

I’ve been searching for a solution to save attached image files sent by email, onto a linux server, time to get something custom made.

Goal is to save MIME single email attachments to disk locally on a linux server.

Would apply to a specific email address intended for this purpose. I send email with image attached and email received on server. Attachment is removed from email and saved to a directory using email subject line (Subject: red widget) as filename.

Example: Attached file img0001.jpg saved as red-widget.jpg in… /home/public_html/images

Email gets deleted.

I’ve come across things like ripMIME (http://www.pldaniels.com/ripmime/) and a PERL script (http://tek-tips.com/faqs.cfm?fid=4138), looks like it can be done.

Has to function automatically.

Email arrives in mail folder on server > script runs removing image.jpg and saves image to file > email deleted.

Crm/case Management

March 4th, 2010 Comments off

Hi there,

I am looking for a modified CRM type program for my business but for cases we are working on. We setup second opinion medical examinations for personal injury legal cases, therefore, we have daily updates and documents that need to be included in each file during the scheduling process. Right now everything is paper based so what I would like is to be able to:
1) Enter in the case/request as we receive it with the name of the claimant, the claimant’s attorney, the requesting party/attorney, contact information (address, phone numbers and email addresses), claim numbers, case names, claimed injuries, the type of doctor requested, deadlines (there are usually a few dates worth noting).
2) We make notes daily if not more than once a day to the file when we are in the midst of scheduling.
3) Much of our correspondence is done via email so I would like to be able to attach specific emails and other document attachments to our daily notes (we use Outlook for email).
4) The system would be available to be accessed from several people within the office from anywhere much like a Google calendar system.
5) The goal of this program would be to make all of our paper files electronic and be able to access the file without physically having it in hand to see where we left off, what the updates were and what we need to do.
6) It would ideally allow us to flag important items, create reminders, and sort with the case by date of notes, by attachments or by flags.
7) Sometimes the clients request a copy of all of our scheduling notes when they have to go to court if it has been a difficult case. We would need to be able to print a case with the request information and all of our activity, notes, and attachments so this would need to be easy to do and not cumbersome.

I’ve attached a request form with the fields that we usually fill in prior to starting the scheduling process.

Thank you,

Tiffany

Php Form Similar To Psd2html

I have a few sites and need a psd to html type of form for customers. One part of the script should be on all sites with different configurations within each site. The input will be coming from these “dummy domains” posted to my master site. The master site will need some sort of security key that should be the md5 of the dummy site’s ip submitted via hidden input field and checked via ref on the master and compared to actual ip to prevent hackers of submitting, this is very important i will explain further via private chat.

It should also grab the default values like price, options, and timeframe in hours for each possible input selection, from a file or from a simple template on my master site so if i change pricing per any form input types it reflects on all my dummy sites. Script will require collapsing fields depending on user selections so java will be required and attachments and such and will work similar to psd2html but with more values for other options. It would be nice to have a upload progressbar/timer also and that uploads attachments to master site without needing to submit the form. Using cron we can clear uploads if submission is never completed.

The html part of the form is already coded but again javascript/ajax will have to be implemented to hide some boxes and calculate pricing and time total in days+hours it will take depending on options selected.

Script will have to bring user back to the site he was from after paypal payment (paypal ipn). Script will have to send out mail to 3 emails one set from the dummy site’s config with some details after paypal payment is confirmed via ipn or the api very important to be after, one to the master site email with all details about download location, submitted info, etc. This doesn’t have to be after paypal checkout. I still have to have something on master site telling me if the payment went through, maybe in the end of the txt summary or what ever see below. One will be sent to client naturally after payment has been received confirming order with other details.

The attachments will have to be put in a different specific folder for each different dummy domain on the master site and attached will be a txt summary of all what was submitted also of all the inputted details, in case the email ever fails. Each submission should create a new auto incrementing folder also in the proprietary folder and file names of attachments should have a prefix for each file submit field they were submitted from. Please reply with i’m not generic in first sentence of you bid on project so i know who i’m working with.

Vbulletin Forum Remote Attachm

November 6th, 2009 Comments off

Looking for a person/persons with extensive Vbulletin knowledge to hack vbulletin or make a mod for it.
The purpose of this mod/hack would be to host standard vbulletin attachments on a remote server with it’s own domain, used just as filevault, while keeping any preview/thumbnails on the main server for faster pageview. The idea is to add in the ACP the ability to turn on/off the option, and to provide a form where to place FTP datas to the remote host. Attachments and the rest should be normally retrieved by vbulletin using the standard procedure.
So is just matter of rerouting the attachment upload routine to another one(if set in the ACP).
I think that building a product would be quite difficult/expensive, as products are made to add funcitonalities to vbulletin and not to hack core functions, so kindly make your bid stating if you are willing to deliver it as a standard vbulletin .xml product, or, the easy way, a .TXT file with detailed instructions on how to directly modify/hack vbulletin original files. Something like “open attachment.php, search for [code] apply under/above it this [code]" and so on.
Keep in mind that it will be installed on a running board, with attachments already set to be saved in the filesystem, so I like to take the old attachments dir and upload it to remote server, point the hack to it and willing to find everything working, links and the rest.
To be tested and bug free running on vb 3.8.4 PL1, if needed I can provide ftp access and admin user name to my test vbulletin installation. Payment will be released when script is up and running on my site, kindly include a 30days after sale support for fine tuning.
Attached at this project you will also find a free script, named file upload center, this script already has the ftp functions coded into it, all you need to do is just take them out, paste them in vbulletin and have the attachment upload routine pass through them.
Please respect the deadline you are giving, as bidder will be chosen taking also that in count.

Parse Email – Save Attachments

October 19th, 2009 Comments off

We need a script that will parse multi-part emails. The script will be required to do the following:

Needs to be IMAP, SSL context (potentially using gmail).

1. Verify the following before doing anything else
- Fetch *new* emails (script will run from cron job)
- from address: will be the primary key for users. If email already exists, grab the user id. if it doesn’t, create a new user (id, email & name from headers).
- attachment type (only accept images)
- attachment size (needs to be a variable that we can change later if need be)

Once user is identified (fetched or created), we save the attachment.

2. Save the the email to a MySQL database
Whatever is needed to identify email , +
- user id
- subject
- date/time
- body (html/text)
- attachments (name of the attachment, location of the file on the server)

3. Save the file on the web server
- Location will be (uploads/yyyy/mm/dd/)

4. Send email to the user to confirm the process or inform of an error.

Nothing is set in stone, and any recommendation or advice is welcome.

** We require full ownership

** We require clean and detailed commenting within the code, we will review every line of code).

** If you have questions on any requirements please let us know.

Parse Email – Save Attachments

September 10th, 2009 Comments off

We need a script that will parse multi-part emails. The script will be required to do the following:

1. Verify the following before doing anything else
- from address (verify the sender of the email is a valid member of the website by checking records in an already existing MySQL database)
- attachment type (only accept images and videos)
- attachment size (needs to be a variable that we can change later if need be)

2. Save the following from the email to a MySQL database
- from address (senders address)
- from name
- complete headers
- date/time
- body (html/text)
- attachments (name of the attachment, location the file was saved on the server)

3. Save the following to the web server in a location specified by a variable
- attachments (images/video only)

4. Send email to us (specified by a variable) if any errors occur during the processing of this script

** We will have full ownership of the script once completed and paid for – the programmer will be required to sign the script over to us

** We require very clean and detailed commenting within the code (we program in PHP regularly but do not have time to complete this script, never the less we will review every line of code).

* Further expansion of this script might be required in the future, thus the requirement of clean and detailed commenting (although we will certainly attempt to hire the same programmer again)

* We have not used ScriptLance before but reviewing the site there appears to be a great deal of talent available here (please don’t let us down).

* If you have questions on any requirements please let us know.

Outlook Integration / Delphi 7

September 3rd, 2009 Comments off

Each time I send and email with Outlook, I want to to be able, within a Delphi 7 application (win 32 app, dll, …), to access all informations on this email. For example, I want to be able to store the sender, receiver, date, title, content, in a SQL table. For this project, it’s not important to really store it in an SQL table, but I have to be able to access all email parts in Delphi variables, so I will be able to adapt the Delphi code for my needs.
I also want to access attachments, so I will be able to copy attachments in a specific folder. For this project, you can just copy the attachments in a subfolder of the application, just for proof that it’s working.

I want to do exactly the same thing for all incoming emails. So each time I receive an email, I will be able to store it.

This application must react on Outlook events, so each time an email is received or sent, my Delphi code is called.

I want all source code. I want clean and reusable code. No external components or libraries or dll.

It must work on Outlook 2003 and 2007. I will pay extra if it works also with Outlook Express and Windows Mail.

If you need more information, don’t hesitate to contact me.

Serious and professionals programmers only. Please bid only if you are very comfortable with this project. This project is worth to me only if it is completed to 100%. Nobody likes wasting time.

Sermonspeaker Component Mod

August 16th, 2009 Comments off

PROJECT OVERVIEW

I need a custom modification to the popular Joomla component for churches called SermonSpeaker. The component allows churches to manage a podcast of sermons.

Currently, a user must upload the MP3 files and associated Powerpoint or PDF attachments via FTP. I would like a simple “Browse” functionality added to both the MP3 upload section and file attachment section of the sermon creation screen on the backend.

The goal is to allow non-technical users who have no idea what FTP is to be able to manage the MP3 files and attachments.

My intention is to pay for this work and donate the code back to the SermonSpeaker project if the author of SermonSpeaker would like to use it. Put the proper credits in your code comments, and if it’s used in future releases, you’ll get credit for it.

PROJECT DETAILS

1. I would like a “Browse” button inserted to upload an MP3 file to the server. Then it can be selected in the path pulldown menu easily without having to upload it by FTP first.

2. The “Additional File Path” is a place to link a file such as a PDF or Powerpoint slideshow file. I would like a “Browse” button inserted to upload such files to the server in the “/files/” subfolder of the media folder within the SermonSpeaker component. Functionality should be almost identical to MP3 Path section above:

(1) The user clicks “Browse” to select an MP3 file from their own computer. The component uploads it and makes it available in the MP3 Path dropdown menu.
(2) The user selects the uploaded MP3 file in the dropdown menu.
(3) The user clicks “Browse” to select an optional Powerpoint or PDF file attachment that goes with the sermon. The component uploads it and makes it available in a new “Attachment Path” dropdown menu similar to the “MP3 Path” menu above.
(4) The user the selects the uploaded file in the dropdown menu.

3. It’s important that we retain the ability, as it is currently designed, to link offsite to a full path in the event file attachments or MP3 files are hosted off-site.

SEE ATTACHED ADMINISTRATOR CONTROL PANEL SCREENSHOT WITH NOTES!

Thanks in advance for your help, creativity, and bid on this project.
