Videozoom home page more content areas

I need more content areas on the homepage in order to separate video into sections E.G music videos, sports, audio tracks etc. not only recent videos as is now (see attachment “videozoom-recent-posts”)

I have thought of two options
1. Either to create more areas in the same manner that has been done on the original videozoom theme

(i’ve attached recent posts home page options on admin dashboard)

2. or to add more footers. the theme currently has a four column footer i would like to add a two column section and one column section above into which any widget could be placed

Our idea is a website like Groupon but with a main difference, localization. In Italy, expecially big cities (rome,milan,turin, naples) it is possible to find Group offers for hotels, restaurants, shops and so on but on a city level. I found out that because of traffic or long distances people would prefer offers in their area.
The website will at first begin with rome, divided in areas (all info will be supplied). Clicking on one area you will find the “offer of the day” and “other offers”. Offers can be purchased within 24 hours and be valid after purchase for 1 year. This is a quick and easy job for someone familiar with WP themes. I have a custom theme which works perfectly on a particular domain. I have transferred the theme to a new domain and now have a problem…

Basically the sidebar, top and bottom widget areas show up correctly on all pages except for the individual article post pages. I haven’t changed anything and the theme still works fine on the original site so this will be a very simple issue, most likely a setting or piece of code which hasn’t copied across properly.

We have a non-adult version of Adult Video Script which is written in php. Intergrated into this software is the unlimited

Problem – webcam recording doesn’t work. This area needs to repaired. This area worked before server move.

Problem – Prior programmer who moved this site to it’s current location installed Red5 & Mencoder. Now there are videos

that do not convert and others that play only in the expanded mode. Some videos do not have sound after conversion. I’m

Mobile module no longer functions after move to new server. Need this repaired and/or reinstalled.

In script system check says XVID support is missing. Need that installed/corrected. This may be the source of problems as

okay to leave his username attached to posts without any modification unless someone tries to access his profile.

I am re-designing a school’s website whose files got lost during a server account change. My customer wants to take the opportunity to change it because it looked too confusing and boring. Originally was designed using Joomla and the designer must have had just basic knowledge of Joomla because site was too boring and confusing.

I was thinking in creating a combination of HTML and Joomla site if that is an option with the belief that the HTML part will give it the more natural appealing of a common site while still having the Joomla benefits in its content pages. That way those pages that do not need constant update be HTML design and those that need daily updates and password access be Joomla with all the benefits it brings. But design between both need to look the same to barely notice the difference. I know html and I use Dreamweaver for editing, but have just basic knowledge of Joomla or php.

Need someone to help me put the website together by designing the Joomla template based in my html design, and putting it together with the html part. Some html design might be needed to ensure both look the same. After the project is completed, I would need advise on how to edit it in the future when needed.

Full real content not need to be included, just enough to show parts and areas. I will fill out the content information myself in both html and joomla areas provided you supply me all the corresponding files used or needed to do so. Web 2.0 makeover – Any of the design characteristics of Web 2.0 sites (Web 2.0 buttons, rounded edges, Web 2.0 icons) that can be added would be great.
Switch the nav bar to be bellow the page header. (I will give you materials for a new header later today)

A list of contest results would appear in an area on the home page.

I’m looking for someone who can modify a preexisting WordPress template by customizing the layout/appearance slightly and adding some functionality. My goal is to create a website for a residential group within a university that would at its core be a news blog but would also offer students other useful utilities and some very limited social networking functionality. 1. I would like to alter the white version of the theme somewhat since I think it looks just a little bit crowded in places, and I would like to have a white site with green as an accent color.

2. Users would be able to create accounts which allow them to post comments, photos, videos, and add events to a calendar. They would also have profiles that would contain certain information about them. They would also have the ability to send messages. I think this could potentially be done using BuddyPress without too much difficulty.

3. I would like an events calendar that users can upload content to (and if it’s not too difficult, these events would have the ability to be linked to news stories and/or picture galleries)

4. Users would be able create/join groups and create events for that group that would go into the calendar.

5. Administrator accounts could add new stories and edit other site content.

Overall Design
The site design and layout should be based upon the white/light version of the Imperial WordPress theme found here: http://themeforest.net/item/imperial/47783. I would like the following changes made to it in terms of overall design:

Green accent color (lime green)
Additional space – The three column layout creates a cluttered feeling that I’m hoping could be fixed by spacing things out more
Web 2.0 makeover – Any of the design characteristics of Web 2.0 sites (Web 2.0 buttons, rounded edges, Web 2.0 icons) that can be added would be great.
Switch the nav bar to be bellow the page header. (I will give you materials for a new header later today)

Left Column
Here are the components I would like in the left column.

Top Stories Display – The current display that is in the top left is okay, but I would prefer if you could change it so that the story descriptions on the right of the picture moved underneath the picture so that it only takes up one column.
Blog/News Posts – These don’t necessarily need any design changes. However, if it is possible to make so that when people click “Read More,” the additional text is displayed on that same page without opening to a new page. I guess this would require Ajax or something like that. If that could be done for comments as well, that would be outstanding.
Center Column
Here are the components I would like in the center column. I would like to have areas in this column that display the following information in the following order from top to bottom:

That’s pretty much it for the layout of the site. If you can think of a way to have all of that content in a two column site, that would be awesome, but it may not be feasible. I will send you more information later tonight about what exactly I would like in terms of functionality for user accounts, permissions, etc.

Okay, as far as the user accounts go, I don’t think they should be too difficult to set up, but I’m not completely sure since I’ve never done it before. One of my friends has done similar things, and his programing/web design skills aren’t much better than mine, so I’m sure it wouldn’t be too difficult for you.

In the login box on the home page, there would be a link to register for the site.
Only users with an e*mail address yale.edu or fenrirsden.com would be able to sign up. Like Facebook, a confirmation e*mail would be sent to that address containing a link to activate the account.

I am now relisting a similar but expanded project that I am looking at completing in the next couple of months – no rush just trying to find someone who can do it and get ideas before starting. (time frame for this is form completion about September)

I have a web site – www.geronamo.com.au. It has the basic design I would like, except I want to change a few things. It has quite a lot of flash which I can’t update myself. I currently update the rest of the web site in Contribute. Can you please look at the site and tell me if you can do the following and give me an estimate of cost:

1. Remove the Flash or make it so that I can update the flash elements. This is mainly on the home page.

2. Photos section – I would like this redone so that the photo section shows photos along the lines of something like Picasa. Have a look at my own picasa family albums and see if this would be incorporated into the site or if a similar one can be added to the site. http://picasaweb.google.com/craigandclaire. I would also like to be able to upload photos myself – I currently can’t do that. I would also like to be able top add a watermark at the bottom of each photo to make it harder to copy them.

4. I don’t like the current font. I would like something a little crisper and cleaner. Can this be done throughout the whole site?

5. You’ll notice banners in the team building section. For example Hollywood Blockbusters has a banner. Can you design these? if so how much to design a banner?

6. I want to move several things around on the home page.

a. I would like to move the large flash file / pictures, which rotates with the 5 main program areas about half way down the page under the video section, and put it in place of the free teambuilding ideas blue flash banner.

b. I would like to move the ‘free teambuilding ideas’ blue flash banner to the right hand side and make it one of the smaller buttons.

c. I would like to move the 6 ‘hot programs’ to the right hand side and move all of the right hand side buttons underneath to the bottom of the home page. I would like to change some of the names of the right hand side buttons and I will let you know what those changes are later on.

7. I do not like some of the colours – for example the green and orange could be changed to different hues or even changed altogether in place of other colours. I am thinking of getting rid of green altogether from the site.

8. What do you do in the way of SEO? I would like to ensure our site is optimised for best SEO.

9. I would like certain keywords placed into the site but I unsure how to insert them.

10. I would like another 3 basic web sites created that I can link back to this site for optimisation purposes. Do you have basic web templates and how much for 3 of them.

11. I currently have the weather on the front page for 3 areas. I would like to have a seperate weather section now and remove the weather from the front page. I would like to add the weather for 3 other areas into the weather section.

Hello, I need a clone of a website. the address is eightbyeight dot com. I need someone that can replicate this site in its entirety. I need it to include pretty much all the same pages, different graphics, but the exact same layout. I need all the ad boxes, menu’s etc to be in the same places, so a real duplicate. I will provide new text for all the pages, but for now you can just copy what is on the site. I will give you layout/text for headline/title areas, and text and layout for images areas, you will need to implement those.
