Rewrite Product Descriptions

March 17th, 2010 Comments off

I have a site with 100 products and i need each product description rewrote to be unique as well as to implement the main keyword phrase for the page of the product. i will supply the main keyword phrase for each product page you need to implement. previous SEO writing experience preferred….the site is in oscommerce so knowledge of oscommerce is a plus, however not required.

requirements:

-rewrite 100 product descriptions on the site with SEO in mind
-implement main keyword phrase (i will provide) into product description
-most descriptions are approximately 200 words – your rewrite should be about the same
-english as a first language preferred (please post links/examples of previous product description work in the PMB)

your bid should reflect the total cost to do 100 products at approximately 200 words each…so approximately 20,000 words of rewritten content. this must be manually rewritten content, do not use an article spinner or anything of the like to rewrite the descriptions…i will not accept “spun” rewrites….must be readable by humans and make sense :)

depending on the results you provide, i can offer more rewriting work….as i have nearly 500 products to do.

please ask any questions you may have.

thanks

Grab Web Data To Xls/csv

November 4th, 2009 Comments off

This is a recursive job to grab well-organized data from approximately 38,000 web pages, with up to five (5) data elements per entry (some only have 4).

The web site is located at http://www.aflac.com/us/en/find_sales_office.aspx

To see what the data looks like, enter zipcode 90010

These are the data elements I want:
-name
-address
-suite
-city
-state
-zip
-phone (they call it “vox”)
-email address

There are approximately 38,000 zipcodes to search, and I will provide a list of these in a csv file. I believe that the result of the job will be a CSV or XLS spreadsheet with approximately 900 lines, after eliminating duplicates. I can eliminate them, if you can’t.

Please note that I have a perfect 10 rating on over 50 jobs, always pay promptly, will place the funds in escrow when you take the job, and I always give back a 10 rating.

Please DO NOT BID on this job unless you have experience with this kind of job. It is easy for someone who knows how, and very hard for anyone else.

Content Controls – Word 2007

September 8th, 2009 Comments off

I need the following built into a 2007 Microsoft Word Document:
1. Approximately 10 drop down menus
2. Approximately 2-3 calenders that will allow me to select a date
3. Approximately 4-5 free form text fields
4. One (1) selection button

I have a 2 page contract in Word 2007 and I want to be able to easily change the key components each time I have to update the contract. For example, if I contract with an Author for 2 stories and then I contract with a different Author for 4 stories, I want to be able to easily change the number of stories, contract price, and the Authors name.

I have all of the drop down menus already pre-defined. I just need someone to put them in Word.

I need to have the entire contract locked (or password protected) to prevent anyone from changing it EXCEPT for the portions that need to be updated.

* Contract: Ongoing Month To Month
* Salary: $150 usd per month + benfits if good month.
* Part Time
* Hours: Approx 10 – 15 hours per week.
* Contact: Bid & Contact Via the PMB

Basic Level Writer Required.

Part-time work, work whenever suits you. Days or evenings.

I am after a part-time employee, which may rise to full-time depending on availability, work load and content satisfaction.

Your main role with be as follow. You will be given a list of celebrities and a standard template letter, as well as some completed examples.

You can work 2 full days per week, or the work load can be spread evenly Monday to Friday. This will be at your convenience and will be arranged before work begins.
Either way, each time you are scheduled to work for me I expcet you to work independantly and exclusively for me during this alloted period.

Each time you are scheduled to work, I will send you a list of celebrites names. You will then have to research and go on various websites, of which I will give you a few to start. You will then be writing a fan letter to each of these celebrities, showing a knowledge of their roles or work and stating what you enjoyed about their performances or work, as though you were a keen fan.
I have a few examples to base your letters on which I will upload to the Private Message Board ( PMB ).

Each letter will need to be unique, approximately 300 words in length. You must posses excellent gramatical and punctuation skills, along with a good ability to create a warm, friendly and polite correspondance, showing your knowledge of the said celebrity.

Once a letter has been written, it is to be saved in a folder with the days date. Each letter file name, must be the celebrities name eg angelina-jolie or tony-blair.

All word files will then need to be added to google documents so I can see your work for the day.

The same will happen for every work day, from which before the day commences I will check your work the previous work day and add a new list of celebrities to write your letters for the new day, to our google documents login.

At present, I can write approximately 7 well crafter letters per hour.
Once you get used to this I expect you to do around 9 an hour, so each week I will be sending you around 135 – 150 names per work week.

We may ask you to re-write any of the letters that we feel are not up to standard. After the initial training has been given, this will begin to come into practice. I would estimate the re-write percentage to be approximately 10%, perhaps less.
Re-writes will rarely be full letter re-writes.

I am looking for someone who works to a schedule well, is polite and effective in their communications. Someone who posseses the ability to follow instructions and can adapt to various challenges.

If that sounds like you, there’s a great future waiting for you. Whatever your background or experience, you’ll enjoy full training and ongoing support from us.

In return, there’s an excellent salary, plus a chance for full-time work and expanding into other areas as your time with us progresses.
We are looking for someone we can rely on and with whom we can all both work well together with. As I am sure you are too!

To apply, please make a bid AND place a message on the PMB with SPECIFIC examples to what writing client work you have done, along with what the client wanted for the specification.

If you have any questions, then please simply ask on the PMB and we will get back to you at our earliest convenience.

Best of luck.

Re-write Public Domain Works

July 14th, 2009 Comments off

I am in need of a number of public domain works to be re-written.

I will provide you with the works. I will provided you with a brief description of the work. I will provide you with any special requirements such as tone, point of view or any other information you will need to know to re-write the work properly.

The works average approximately 10,000 words and I need it to be rewritten into chapters of average 650+ words to 900+ words each. Your bid is to re-write the entire work.

The requirements.

- At least 65% unique from the original you will need to cut / add in some new sentences here and there within the works. This is where your writing ability and originality is critical.

- 100% manually rewritten and not rewritten using any software.

- Have correct grammar, punctuation and spelling. If I must re-edit your work I will discontinue from using your future services.

- The rewritten sentences must be completely different from the original. The rewritten sentences and paragraph must make sense. Do not just change words.

- Submitted chapter should either be in .html or .txt or .doc format.

- The first test re-written chapter MUST be submitted in 48 hours for quality checking.

- Deadline: 5 days from approval of your test chapter.

- You agree that upon payment, all rights to the rewritten works transfer to me. This means you will not sell, reproduce or re-use these works in any manner, both online and offline.

- You also agree to communicate twice a day indicating your progress.

- The works include various topics include world history, world religion, medieval science and alchemy. You may need to search certain archaic terms within these works to understand their meaning in order to accomplish the job. You may need to combine supplemental works that I will provide.

- Example: If I ask for a 10,000 word public domain work to be re-written into an original 10,000 word work you will be paid on the quantity of words in the original public domain work. i.e. 10 USD.

You are bidding on re-writing approximately 10,000 words into approximately 10 chapters of 650+ to 900+ words each. Further works would be of similar length and command a similar payment schedule. Payment is calculated at 1 USD for every 1000 words re-written therefore a 10,000 word re-written public domain work will upon completion earn the writer 10 USD.

See attached file for example of work to be re-written. Do not submit re-written test work unless you have been selected. If you submit a re-written test sample and have not been selected you will not be paid.

Please place you bid if you understand the requirements and terms.

Easy Backlinking Project

June 6th, 2009 Comments off

I am looking for some to do 2 simple jobs:
1) First one involves making 3 account per website provided by myself and put in links as directed by myself. I want back links from approximately 240 websites (240 websites x 3 account per website). For this, I will give you some documents which will tell you how to register with every single website (some of them will work while other sites may not work but you will have enough options to have 240 websites). Firstly, you will need to create 3 accounts (with 3 different email addresses) with each website as will be directed in the document.
Secondly, for each website after the accounts have been created you have to place in links (the document will tell you how to do this). Approximately 7-15 links per account per site would be required if possible (some sites allow less). This link placement is not difficult as for more than 95% sites all you need to do is copy past the html code (which will be provided by me). To give you an idea I can easily do 15-20 sites every hour i.e. create an account, verify it (not all will require verification), log in and then put in the links in the form of html or sometimes using the WYSIWYG (depending on the site).
Thirdly, after you are done you will need to provide me with the link of the pages where the links are placed (the document lets you know how you can do this as well). Unfortunately that is the only way I can verify that you have done your job. This is a very straightforward job and should take you more than 2-3 days.
2) Second job is also very simple. Basically for this I will give you a website where you have to paste articles. Firstly, for the articles I will tell you exactly where to get them- They will be in foreign language. Secondly, you will need to use Google translate and copy paste that article in foreign language. Next, you will have to translate that article in English- you will notice that the article does not come out perfect with a lot of grammatical errors, this is OK. Thirdly, You will need to paste this article on a form on a website where you also have to place links and keywords (provided by myself) – this is very simple (you do not have to make accounts etc, it’s just a form). Once done you will select directories provided on the form where you want the article to be posted- again simple. Next you take a screen picture (for my reference) on the computer and hit submit. To give you an idea I can do this whole process and submit 30-40 articles every hour easily. I would need you to submit approximately 800 articles like this. This should be doable in 20-25 hours. Again you do not write articles. I will give you step by step instruction on how to do this.
New comers are more than welcome. I expect the job to be done in less than 30 days. For the first job- You will have to use email accounts created by myself. I will give you the password to the email accounts and the preferable login id and password for each site as well. You will need to verify account for some of the websites after you create an account. For the second site I will create an account and give you the log in for the website where you have to submit articles.
Let me know if you need to know anything else. This is a very straightforward job and you do not need any special computer skills for this. All instructions will be provided. Ask any question before bidding.
