we have oscommerce with digital section where users can print out the images we have selected for this purpose, think about istock stuff.
we can print them on wallpaper or even blinds
people select picture or do upload their own, afther selection they give in size etc, price is calculated autmaticly
but than we have little problem, because selected images not always fitting in, so we need a tool to set the image cut display , so they see what section they want to print out
a flash tool i think, so they see their size, and move the picture in the chosen size for the section to print
afther they can add that in the shoppingcart and pay, webmaster and user get confirmation with the selected image
upload needs to be huge size possible, we have our own serverm, so even using auto ftp would be possibility

a) The picture are shown exactly as the wallpaper we have on our website(is main categories) and if you click that, the subs with zoom function.(this is already in) if you click a product, you are directed to the create and order page.
b1) On the create and order page there will be message that you alreay selected an image or if you want to upload your own photo/picture to continue.
Also there is a checbox/radio button so people can choose for product (wallpaper or blinds)
b2) On the next page the uploaded /selected picture is shown en can they give the size of the product, like for wallpaper its like 2.70 mtrs and 4 mtrs for example, blinds depend on window size (The aspect of this window changes real time).
than they can move the picture to get the crop they want for their product. The part thats cut of MUST be visible still for the shopownner, but in grey, so he can do that for real when printing the picture
