This project is to help me properly define requirements and database schema for the pricing section of an existing custom e-commerce solution. The current solution has a very limited pricing capability — maximum of 3 different pricing levels per product, which can be assigned to different customers. It currently doesn’t handle quantity based pricing (e.g. qty 1-3 is $5.00, qty 4-6 $4.50, qty 7+ $3.75).

This custom e-commerce solution already allows for couponing. I’m including this information, because I’m not sure if it will need to be updated while designing this pricing system. The types of coupons the system currently handles include; free shipping, reduced shipping, percentage off of order, dollar off of order, etc… It can require a specific minimum and maximum dollar amount be in the shopping cart before the coupon will work. (See the Coupons table below)

WHAT I NEED HELP WITH:
The new pricing system should be able to handle the following;
1a) Single price no matter the quantity purchased, this is typically the default pricing level. (e.g. qty 1-99999 $5.00)
~ Alternatively ~
1b) Unlimited pricing ranges per product (e.g. qty 1-3 is $5.00, qty 4-6 $4.50, qty 7+ $3.75)
2) Short Term Sale/Discount Pricing: per product or per category, can be dollar amount or percentage off (e.g. XL widget $5 off, or XL Widget 10% off)
3) Product Attributes (separate table?) which may require more weight and cost be added to the total product price. Attributes will not always change the weight and price. (e.g. red shirt add $1.00, size 11 shoe add $2.00 and 1 lbs.
4) Define price groups, web site visitors accounts can be assigned to specific price groups.
a) The pricing system will need to be able to allow the web site admin to assign specific customers to “better” pricing even if they are not buying larger quantities

2. Category based pricing groups
5) Customer Specific Pricing per product (e.g. all customers pay the normal price of $5.00 for XL Widget, however XYZ corp pays $4.75 and ABC Corp pays $4.25)
6) Customer Specific Pricing per category – discount percentage (ability to apply a set percentage discount per category for a specific customer, e.g. All Widgets are 5% less for customer XYZ Corp.)
7) BOGO Offers: Modify existing coupon system OR come up with a new way to offer the following discounts;
a) Buy one, get one free
b) Buy one, get 50% of a second
c) Buy 6, get 2 free
Set order minimums based on price, quantity, or both.

I need your help defining and creating the requirements and database structure. Diagrams and flow charts would also be appreciated. I would also like to be able to ask you additional questions regarding the final structure once it’s complete.

We have an insurance quote website that takes customers registration forms.php and loads them into a mysql database with GoDaddy.com. I have used a site Formdevil.com to creat the forms but I now want more control and easier ways to make changes. Need someone to take the forms made by Formdevil and either remake them or simply decode them and put them into a format that can be manipulated with Dreamweaver.

Also I would like for the data in the MySQL database to automatically load into a contact management type system which would be easy to navigate for the user.

I have an intermediate level skill with Dreamweaver and a strong Graphic Design background but I am code impaired and need a professional database programmer to make everything work properly.

We are planning to expand our business online so will need ongoing help in the future.

Job Requirements:

7. Joomla module configuration parameters should of course include a section to connect to the oscommerce database, so database host, username, password, and database name should all be configurable from the Joomla Modules config screen in the administrative side of Joomla.

8. For the oscommerce shop, this should be written as a stand alone, installable oscommerce module, or be installable into OSCMAX 2.0.1 by overwriting existing files, and packaged as such in zip format so that unzipping and overwriting existing files would install it.

9. oscommerce module configuration parameters should of course include a section to connect to the joomla database, so database host, username, password, and database name should all be configurable from the oscommerce Modules config screen in the administrative side of oscommerce.

Development:

A development server with stock installs of both Joomla 1.5 and OSCMAX 2.0.1 will be provided along with Cpanel account, and phpMyAdmin

Testing:

Testing will be performed after you have packaged the joomla module and oscmax modules. They should be installable either by unzipping your files, and replacing existing files and in the case of the Joomla component, installable via the install module tool in the administrative panel. Once testing confirms that it is installable and works as required above, money will be released.

I need a simple, stand-alone piece of software that can do the following:
1) Store PDF documents that can then be filled out, printed and stored (filed on the PC) with the new data on them.
2) Make available a database (exportable as CVS)that can be continually updated, filed on the hard drive, and sorted as necessary.
