I would like to set up an instance that I can launch as needed to render After Effects projects.
I have the Amazon account, just have no idea how to do this.
Open PMB if you have experience with this.
We have a running 64bit Amazon AMI running Ubuntu. We need the content duplicated on a 32bit AMI in order to decrease costs.
To gain access to servers, you will need to provide us a ssh key.
Tasks will include:
- backup all data to an EBS disk
- configure the new 32 bit server with appropriate packages (php, mysql, python, apach2, etc)
- restore the accounts, data, and databases
- test to make sure everything is fully functioning
- we will then switch the elastic IP to the new server
Please provide relevant project experience, show an in-depth understanding of Linux / Ubuntu sysadmin, and be able to answer specific questions about how you plan to handle the migration.
We are looking for an Expert with Amazon Ec2 and rails/php
We need a monitoring script that will be able to automatically launch ec2 instances when a server is under heavy load. If you know of existing scripts or already have one developed, we would be interested in playing you to deploy it for us.
NOTE: You must provide information about previous ec2 scripts created for a similar purpose.
