We would like to turn our graphic design site into a wordpress site so that its easy for us to maintain our portfolio and articles etc.

What you get:

What we want:
1. We expect you to code the theme for wordpress
2. Coding must be clean and optimized for Search Engines
3. Auto Thumbnailing so that we dont have to make images in different sizes ourselves
4. Rating system
5. Valid XTHML, CSS
6. Cross browser compatible
7. Should be Fast loading
8. Do not mess with the core programming, so we should easily upgrade wordpress with their newer versions
9. You should also know how to have a scrolling images but add another layer of image above it. When you see the attachment look at Portfolio_Template_1.jpg.. and see in the header we have several images and these are part of our featured portfolios (will be same as shown on home page) so the actual images would be plain but if you see closely there is a grunge graphic layer above them.

Now, look at the attached file to see the exact requirement.. I will send the selected coder final PSD files and there might be few small additions like pagination is left etc..

I have also mentioned urls of existing themes for your reference.

Most of the plugins like slider, scrolling, ratings are very common

PLEASE do not bid, if you cannot do this or if you do not know how wordpress is used for portfolio sites.

Hi need a WordPress Template designed with valid css/xhtml and specific to my needs which includes some page elements that utilize heavy css for comment boxes etc. CSS will be used for most in-page elements.
I like the colour and design style of Mashable.com, it will have the same layout style as mashable with room for banner ads etc, and will also add some page elements from another blog I like.

This is a professional design project, and other blog design projects will follow.

We will need to keep in contact through design so I can let you know how I would like each part designed.
It will also require some WP plugins to be installed so you must know how plugins work and how to incorporate design. I will show you a number of functions on other blogs I want installed and you must be able to hunt down to specific plugin needed to accomplish it.
Will require you to alter code obviously so certain page elements/graphics can be inserted.

I DO NOT Require:
Logo or fancy header, this will be inserted later by myself so the certain areas must have a blank section for easy editing for adding logo and title later.

Most of the inner page graphics (icons) will be given to you by myself, they may require resizing etc to fit into design, but there will be no extra work required for actually ‘making’ icons or graphics for page elements (such as RSS, Email, Comment etc Icons).

There will be coding work and design work, so you MUST be a WordPress developer for this project with the skills and Style to accomplish a mashable.com-style layout and ‘smooth style’ template like mashable.

It will not be a big portal like mashable, just a personal blog, so many of the plugins from mashable would not be used obviously.

I will show the other site in PMB which it will mimic many of their plugins, but this is just an esy instruction project! I will tell/show you what I like and you make it in my new design.

Guidelines are below
1. Home Page:
Two columns, one taking up at least 2/3 of the screen. The larger column’s main content will be the trailer with a link to click through to start streaming the video (the link we’ll take the person to www.caachi.com where the movie will be available for streaming/download.) as well as link to extra video clips related to the film.

The bottom of the webpage will be fairly standard: Contact information, sign up option, Twitter, Facebook links. We’ll also add the yelp logo and/or a yelp search widget. (www.yelp.com)

The second column will have two sections: News and Blog
The News section is going to feature the most urgent and breaking news; there will only be one or two news items at a time and the content will change only when we update it.
The Blog is going to be the content tied to our RSS feed. The homepage will only show the first 3 or 4 blog entries, but allow the viewer to click through to the blog in its entirety and its archives.

The Blog will have its own tab as well.

2. About
The About page will have this content:
- Synopsis of the film
- Bios of filmmaker
- Bios of characters in film (each character’s bio will include a picture and/or trailer and a link to their respective websites)
- Extras Video Clips (as also mentioned below the trailer on the first page)
-stream the movie link

3. Stream the Movie
This page will include:
- Iink to movie page on caachi.com
- Information on becoming a distribution partner (associate program on caachi.)
- Information on revenue sharing

4. Call for Action
- 10 things you can do right now
- Resources (list of website in categories)
- Petition see:

- Yelp (and perhaps Eat well guide) search button with instructions.
- Recipe sharing (where people can submit their recipes, stories and photos for others) This will need to have some sort of system set up for us to ‘clear’ everything before it’s posted to keep spam at bay or some way to streamline entries – maybe a form of some sort -spot for uploading photos, spot for entering the story, and then the recipe. We’ll need to set up some vague database for the recipes – if we get enough we’ll want to be able to allow the users to search the recipies using various search criteria.

5. Screenings
