We want to be able to insert a tracking code into a url on another web page. Here is how we see it operating. We provide a url to an affiliate. http://example.com/register/&aff_id=123456 or something like that.

When the visitor gets to that url http://example.com/register/ there will be a form loaded into an Iframe there on that page. The form has its own unique url and an aff_id= in the url. We wanted to be able to replace the aff_id in the form with the aff_id=123456 that is coming from the http://example.com/register/&aff_id=123456

So the aff_id in the form url needs to be replaced with the aff_id from the url that the visitor originated from

We are looking for a quick tweak to the aff.php file from the WHMCS script.

At present, an affiliate link is only able to redirect to 1 domain. We need to be able to allow clients to redirect to multiple different pages, whilst still having the affiliate cookie planted.

Here is what a normal affiliate link currently looks like:

http://www.site.co.uk/whmcs/aff.php?aff=001

Where 001 is the affiliate’s ID. What we’d like to have is this:

http://www.site.co.uk/whmcs/aff.php?aff=001&amp;page=1

Where page=1 is an URL entered by us in the aff.php file…if that makes sense

There should also be some validation in there that doesn’t let the user redirect to a page that hasn’t been defined, eg:

http://www.site.co.uk/whmcs/aff.php?aff=001&amp;page=9999999

As 999999 won’t exist, it should redirect to the standard WHMCS install domain.

Hopefully I’ve managed to get across what we need, if not just let me know if you have any questions.

We have a product that is set up entirely thru clickbank.
We are looking to expand to other aff networks and are not sure the best way to do this.

We are looking for an aff pro who can help with advice on how to best add the different aff networks and not damage the current clickbank product.

We need someone who can has done this before who has experience dealing with clickbank and other networks on the same site.

I only added the field in their SQL table already and i made it always default 0 varchar not null and i changed test2 to 0 and test30 to 1 to see if it works as you go.

well this new field isnt smarty assigned anywhere …there are like 5 class.php files it could be in /modules /core funtctions /includes /classes

I would like WHMCS affiliate system modified slightly to allow affiliates to specify the page on click through. Right now the system sends all affiliate clicks straight to the home page of my site. I’d like the necessary php coding added to the aff.php file (it’s not encoded) to allow an affiliate to add page=URLHERE to their links. So instead of just http://mysite.com/clients/aff.php?aff=000 where 000 is the affiliate’s ID, they could use http://mysite.com/clients/aff.php?aff=000&amp;page=http://mysite.com/page-here and then the system would track the click with their cookie but also redirect the visitor to the specified page.
