Your job will be to set up a WordPress install so it can import the database and display it in a (rough) way. I’ll do the formatting later.

None of the functionality currently on the site will need replicating. I just need the data.

A schema of the database is attached.

I would like a script that would force users coming to my site to have to accept the disclaimer before entering my site. If they accept they can browse content. Please only bid if you know you can do this. Only programmers with at least 10 reviews of 9+ ratings need bid.

Appraisal – Autoaccept

April 22nd, 2011 Comments off

We work with various appraisal management companies who order their appraisals online. When an appraisal is ordered, an email is sent to us letting us know that it is available. However it is not just sent to us, but a few other local appraisers as well. The first person to log in to the website and click on “accept” gets the order.
What we are looking for is someone to write an auto-accept program which will be able to monitor the website (instead of the emails) for available orders. Once an order comes up, the program should automatically click on “accept.” The pay for this program can range from $250-400, depending on how quickly it can be done and how efficient it tests to be.
If interested, please send a message and I can provide you with the specific website and log in information to start working. Also provide your quote for this job.
Thank you

Hi !

The complete Filedescription is attached. But i only have a german version.

- full localized (so it’s possible to translate the strings with poEdit)

The plugin must import the data as posts. Images should be saved at the wordpress-media and attached to the post.

Accept Credit Card Payments

November 28th, 2009 Comments off

I’m looking for a pre-made “Manual Process Credit Card Payment” script, or something similar, to collect cc payments info through a website. This is done by storing someone’s cc payment information details in a database to process thru the admin panel later offline. This is kinda what I am looking for (acart.info/ac-pro/donations.htm). Must have “Make Payment Field”, not amount order box field, whereas the user can type in any amount of a payment and it gets added into the order form. So does anyone have a demo of something I could see? Thats similar to this and reasonably priced?

If you have any questions, PM me.

Thanks

Popup Window Issue

November 4th, 2009 Comments off

I’m trying to do a popup that once the link is click on and the popup occurs it fades the background.

However, we can’t use iframe, ibox, frameset or hidden divs. It has to use some form of window.open. The main reason is 3rd party cookies and IE8 doesn’t accept cookies if used with iframes, hidden divs, ibox, etc.

Also, code to change the window title and not show the url it’s going to

The popup we currently have is at

http://www.agoraquest.com/testpopup.html

so 2 items

1. Fade background and popup window (maybe use javascript to fade the background?)
2. Change popup window title and if possible remove any display of the url it goes to
3. Also, this is for IE7 or IE8 only (Firefox and other browser accept 3 party cookies)
This is an urgent project and needs to be done by tomorrow 10 a.m. EST If you do have the code working and show it. I will go ahead and select you as the winner. If no one puts a working code, I will go ahead and accept the best bidder. Will give bonus if everything is done.

Quick Javascript Work

October 21st, 2009 Comments off

Need someone very quick with javascript and some php skills to do the following

- Form validations for application form. Validate form fields (validation instructions will be provided) and proceed to next step where the entered information will be verified. So, the input values need to be captured and displayed on next page which is very easy obviously.

- On a section in the form, there is a ‘accept to terms’ page where users will have to scroll down the terms and conditions and click a check box to accept terms. I need you to validate this so that the user cannot accept until the scroll bar is scrolled to the bottom.

- On form submission, write input values to PDF and email pdf to the email address entered in the php script. I know pdf can be generated onclick but not sure if it can be sent as an email attachement in php mailer. So leaving this to the expert.

Ask me if you have any questions. Looking for someone to start in next couple of hours and finish all inside 24 hours.

And as always, my new policy, NO ESCROW! FULL PAYMENT ON COMPLETION AND ACCEPTANCE

Thanks

Accept Credit Cards (paypal)

October 6th, 2009 Comments off

I need someone to integrate a form on my website with Paypal Website Payment Standard.

I have a page where I sell packages of bids. This page was set up by the person who sold me the website script. There are two payment options; one for Paypal and one for credit cards. The Paypal option works fine, however the credit card option was never set up. Right now the credit card link brings the user to a page with a form, but once the user completes the form, no payment goes through. So I’d like this form to be linked to Paypal Website Payment Pro to accept credit card payments.

The form also credits the user’s account with the number of bids they purchased. I need this option to remain.

This project NEEDS to be completed in the next 6-8 hours. DO NOT bid on the project if you can’t complete it in this time period.

If there should be balance, the system must automatically generate pin that is equivalent to the balance so the shopper can print. so that way shoppers can carry their balance in their pocket.

Each client must have tools to Combine, Convert, Split and send e-units, just like you would with normal cash.

Logout/Signout:
Client will have a secured logout/signout page.

ADMINISTRATION:
The admin must be able to perform the necessary functions:

Set service charge for each transaction,
block any account
delete any account
complete withdrawal for clients
view account summary
Edit
investment
lists merchants that accept e-unit at the merchant section

Trace And/or Track Methods

July 20th, 2009 Comments off

Synopsis : Debugging functions are enabled on the remote web server. Description : The remote webserver supports the TRACE and/or TRACK methods. TRACE and TRACK are HTTP methods which are used to debug web server connections. In addition, it has been shown that servers supporting the TRACE method are subject to cross-site scripting attacks, dubbed XST for “Cross-Site Tracing”, when used in conjunction with various weaknesses in browsers. An attacker may use this flaw to trick your legitimate web users to give him their credentials. See also : http://www.cgisecurity.com/whitehat-mirr or/WH-WhitePaper_XST_ebook.pdf http://www.apacheweek.com/issues/03-01-2 4 http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/288308 http://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/id/867593 Solution: Disable these methods. Alertpay & 2checkout Ipn

July 9th, 2009 Comments off

We seek a seasoned coder with deep experience in Payment Processors
API/IPN Integration. We want to integrate AlertPay and 2Checkout
gateways into our membership website which already have PayPal
properly integrated into it by default.

The membership website script we installed already allow for setting
up of CUSTOM PROCESSORS. So you just need to code AlertPay&2co
scripts to accept both ONE-TIME payments, SUBSCRIPTION Payments as
well as process MASS-PAYMENTS as it is with the already integrated
PayPal.

All we need is a SIMPLE coding to allow us accept AlertPay, 2Checkout
to accept payments.

It is a simply project we want delivered under 1 day maximum –
precisely by Sunday July 12th at most.

See atttached file for some screen shots and more details.

Only serious bids desired please.

NOTE:

You need to set this IPN for AlertPay so when members refer others
who buys or upgrades through AlertPay, they will be notified of their
waiting commission.

As for 2co I know I need to set up the products in my account at
their site but you do the integration in our site so members and
affiliates can be notified asap.

Classified Ads With A Kick

Classified Ads With a Kick, For a Particular Product Line

This website will deal with a specific type of product, which I will keep confidential for the time being. The type of product involved does typically have an expiration date. The site’s primary content will be “descriptions” of many of the hundreds of products that fall within this product line we are dealing with. These descriptions may be created by admins or by registered users of the site. Users will attach free classified advertisements called “tickets” to these descriptions. The site will initially begin with no content at all. All content will be added by the site admin (me), or users. Users will have an eBay-style private message area where they may receive and respond to messages from site admin and other users they are completing a deal with. A blog and community forum will also be attached to the site.

The site must be compatible with IE 6, 7, 8, and Firefox. An per-existing or custom content management system will be necessary in order to allow me to make changes when necessary. The CMS must afford differing levels of control between system admins and site moderators. Written in Pphp using a LAMP setup (Linux, Apache, MySql, php). I would like the ability to add one-line text ads throughout the page. I would like to be able to add Google AdWords text ads on the sides of the page.

The timeframe for completion is 3 and one half months, with a two week beta testing period.

Please provide separate quotes for coding, design, and both together. You may separate the optional items or include them in the quote as you wish.

The descriptions will include the following information: product title, product description, retail price, optional link to corresponding forum post, optional expiration date, optional links to product info, and number of completed sales of this product on the website IF greater than zero. This sales number will of course be dynamic content. There will also be a place for users to vote the described product up or down. A description may only be edited by the creator, the site admin, or a moderator that the admin has assigned.

The home page will show various featured product descriptions. There will be a search box to search for product descriptions by key word(s). The search results may then be sorted by the following fields: Featured (default), Popular, Rating, Newest, Most Available, and Expired. Continue reading for descriptions of these fields.

The home page will have navigation tabs at the top, which sort the descriptions in different ways for the user. The tabs will be: Featured (default), Popular, Rating, Newest, Most Available, Regional, and Expired. When clicking on a tab, the entire web page will change. I would like to limit the use of AJAX and advanced technologies. No Flash is to be used.

Here are how the descriptions are sorted either by clicking tabs, or by sorting a key word search:

-Featured: Description order is determined by internal site administrator (me)
-Popular: Products described that have the most completed sales on our website come first (see below for more information on how this sales process works)
-Rating – The product description’s rating as voted by users. Users points may be weighted (see below under optional items).
-Newest – Most recently added descriptions
-Most Available – Descriptions with the most classified ads (tickets) attached to them
-Regional – Clickable map above. Below, sorted by state and then city with a number in parentheses showing how many offers exist for the particular city. Cities can be added.

Connected to the descriptions will be free classified advertisements called Tickets. The site will enable registered users (free registration) to post free classified tickets for the exact product in the description if they have one that they would like to sell. In the same way, users may also post a tickets under a product description if they are looking to buy one of the described products.

Tickets will include the following information:
-Product Title – This is automatically populated from the description that the new ticket is being connected to
-Link to the “Description” the ticket is associated with. Again, this is automatically populated.
-”For Sale” or “Looking to Buy” designation
-Price (determined by creator of ticket – This can be the same or different from the retail price on the description
-Payment methods accepted or offered, depending on whether it is a “For Sale” or “Looking to Buy” ticket. (eg. PayPal, Google Checkout, personal check)
-Any information that will be needed or given upon completion of the sale (ex. Name and address, telephone number, etc.)
-Detailed user score information – This is the score of the individual posting the ticket. It is derived from e-Bay style feedback from other users in prior transactions.
-The creating user’s ID or name will be kept anonymous at this stage

After you click on a product description, you will see the tickets below it that users have added that are associated with that product. If there are more “For Sale” tickets, these will show first, and there will be a tab to click for “Looking to Buy” tickets. If there are more “Looking to Buy” tickets, then the opposite will take place. There will be a couple of boxes you can check above the tickets to select “show only FOR SALE tickets” or “show only LOOKING TO BUY tickets”.

Users will then have the ability to sort tickets after clicking into a product description. They can sort by the following fields:
-Ticket creator’s user score high to low
-Ticket creator’s user score low to high
-Ticket price high to low
-Ticket price low to high

When a user accepts a ticket (ex. They want to buy a product offered in a “For Sale” ticket), the original creator of the ticket (not necessarily the creator of the description) is notified and asked if they would also like to accept. This gives them a chance to look at the receiving party’s detailed user score before completing the transaction. The receiving party is also kept anonymous at this stage.

If the offering party accepts:

-Both parties are prompted to make payment of our fee to the website. The fee will initially be heavily discounted for the first months of site operation, but they need to see that in the future, the fee will be the greater of $2 or 10% of the product cost. We will accept payment via PayPal or Google Checkout, including credit cards used via either of these payment gateways,
-When payment is made, usernames are revealed to the two parties, and the two users may begin to communicate through messaging each other in the user message area (not the forum messaging area) to exchange pertinent information.
-User messages must be automatically filtered to prevent the exchanging of email addresses, etc.
o If attempting to submit a message with a filtered word/s, the writer gets a
notice telling them “Unless you wish to edit, the following words will be
removed from your post in accordance with our terms..” The removed words
will be highlighted in red in the message. They will then have the option
to click “Edit” or “Submit”. An alert with the original message as typed
before filtering will be sent to the board moderator and site admin for
their information.
-The two parties are able to rate each other any time after payment. Ratings will include:
o An overall rating of one to five stars
o Sub-category ratings (these do not affect the overall rating)
_ Timeliness of money transferred
_ Accuracy of the ticket information
_ Communication
o An optional text review of 140 characters or less
-The two parties’ ratings of each other are not published until BOTH RATINGS have been submited, unless:
o If the receiving party’s rating has been submitted for 5 full calendar days
already with no rating submitted from the offering party. In this case, the
receiving party’s rating is published and the offering party no longer has
the opportunity to rate the receiver.
o If the receiving party never completes a rating, then no ratings will be
published, even if the offering party has submitted a rating to be
published.

If the offering party does not accept the receiver, the offering party is asked if they need to block this kind of offer or this user in the future, leading them to a new page
-Offering party may block
o the same offer from the same user,
o and/ or the user altogether,
o and/ or the same offer from all users

User Forum considerations
-users can add to each others’ forum reputation scores as at slickdeals.net user forum
-separate forum private messages
-filters on posts and private messages (with clear warnings as in the main site user messages above)
-free registration
-normal forum capabilities for registered users – search, avatar, etc.

Optional Items

*Even if these items are not implemented initially, the site must be constructed so that they may be added later if desired.

-The ability to add a ticket to your “Watching” list of tickets you want to consider for the future.
-A link beside the search box for “Ticket Search” where you may search only tickets b(not descriptions) by a key word(s)
-If a product expires before the expiration date, a user can tag the description as expired through a link on the description that says “Mark as Expired”. When this is done, a statement in red text will be put on the description that says “A user has tagged this product description as expired. Please vote it expired or active here.” The product will become expired when it reaches a certain number of votes of expiration from users. If the point balance goes to zero or a negative number from people voting it active, the warning in red will go away.
-Safari compatibility is a plus.
-The ability to change the site’s background/ wallpaper from time to time is a bonus.
-When users vote on the rating of an offer, or whether an offer is expired, their points are weighted. Here are things that give weight to a user’s vote:
o 10 points for completed sales transaction
o If 4 stars user rating, multiply transaction points by 2. If 5 stars,
multiply by 3

o 2 points for each level of Forum Rating attained
o 1 point for each portion of a year as a user
o 1 point for each 10 Forum posts
- User’s points can be set to 0 by admin if I don’t want their vote to count.

Graphic Design Considerations

-The “For Sale” And “Looking To Buy” tickets should be differing colors.
-A female graphic artist is preferable.
-no Adobe Flash
-appealing to both genders and a variety of ages and demographics
-clean looking
-offers should be enclosed in an empty, rounded rectangle
-tickets should be enclosed in the shape of a luggage tag
-minimal javascript if any
-800 pixel fixed width – non-scaling, but with a backdrop/ wallpaper color or pattern behind it
-pleasing color scheme, with colors used to highlight important areas of the page
-logo stands out, is trademarked and integrated with surrounding graphics and slogan
o I can provide some direction on the logo
-rounded corners
-shading and reflection for depth
-good use of white space
-unique, eye-catching
-very obvious search bar
-possible use of elements from US paper currency
-favicon

Java

May 27th, 2009 Comments off

Use Java version 5.0 (or later). Use IDE Eclipse if want to download. Java program ComputeArea prompts user for information about a 2-D geometric shape and computes the associated area for that shape (or print appropriate error message for input errors). Specifically, the shapes acceptable are: Circle (C), Ellipse (E), Parallelogram (P), Square (S), Rectangle (R), Triangle (T), and Trapezoid (Z). Your program should use the following logic (guideline):
(1)
Prompt the user for a shape specified by a single letter indicated above, and accepts either lower or upper-case letters.
(2)
After determining the shape prompt the user for additional input in order to compute the area, according to the following formulas:
C: input radius; then return area = radius * radius * Math.PI
E: input Major Radius and Minor Radius, then return area = majorRadius * minorRadius * Math.PI
P: input base and height, then return area = base * height
S: input length, then return area = length * length
R: input length and width, then return area = length * width
T: input sideA, sideB, sideC, then return area = Math.sqrt(s*(s- sideA) *(s- sideB) *(s- sideC)), where s = (sideA + sideB + sideC) / 2.0 (known as Heron’s formula)
Z: input baseOne, baseTwo, and height, then return area = (baseOne + baseTwo)/2.0*height
(3)
Be sure to check for input error, e.g., negative value, violation of Triangle inequality, etc.
(4)
Add comments according to the examples discussed in class.
(5)
Terminate the program when a shape code (single letter) received from the user is different than the ones specified in (2) above.

Additional comments: For Question 2(1), the following site http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/java/util/Scanner.html contains detailed information about the Scanner class (to accept user input). In particular, note that there is no simple way to accept a single character using the Scanner’s methods. One way to do so is to use the next() method to accept a String token then extract its first character:
Scanner stdin = new Scanner(System.in); /* create a Scanner object to scan input from
System.in, i.e., the keyboard */
char shapeCode = stdin.next().charAt(0); /* scan next String token and extract 0th char */

Ajax – Php For Popup Notificat

May 13th, 2009 Comments off

I need an ajax and php/mysql expert to make pop up notifications.
On my website, polar gammon.com, players can invite other players to play a game, now it gets written in the ‘Game Invitations’ box, but I want to use ajax so that when someone receives an invitation, a box opens that says for example “Chico invites you for a game of connect 4″ Accept Decline.

The accept and decline is already coded but in PHP, for game invitations.

Players can Accept or Decline pop up notifications, they can choose this for example at the top of ‘Game invitations’.

If they accept popup notif, they will receive the popup whatever page they are in on the website, when they click accept, it will do what the code does for accept, bringing them to the game window. If they click decline, it will do what it already does for the decline, meaning it will remove the columns in the MySQL table and cancel the invitation.

Thanks

Barclays Payment Integration

May 13th, 2009 Comments off

Ok,

I need someone to develop a script to accept payments through Barclays payment Gateway. Your script will accept an array of products, their quantity and unit price of each product. You need to calculate the total price and accept payment via Barclays.

IMPORTANT: YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE INTEGRATING BARCLAY PAYMENT GATEWAY, otherwise, please excuse.

If you are able to complete it (within a couple of days), you will be given preference for all future projects.

Questions and/or any clarifications are highly encouraged.

Happy bidding.

Invitation Feature For Game.

May 11th, 2009 Comments off

Hi, the project is to add an invitation feature for my flash game Connect 4 on polargammon . com

On my website, in the “Online Users” box, there is a list of online users, we need to put an [Invite] next to all the player names.
When a player clicks on this to invite another player, a little dropdown menu saying
Connect 4
Backgammon
will appear, today we only make the connect 4 feature.

If the player clicks on Connect 4, he will send an invitation to the other player that will go in “Game Invitations”, which you can see the box on my website homepage.
In the box it will say for example: 12 Chico [Accept] [Decline]
12 is my level, provided by the database already, accept can be a green Check symbol and decline a Red “X”… For cosmetic purpose.

If the player that received the invitation clicks on Accept, both these player names will be inserted in a DB table and be redirected to the game window.
The table is ALREADY WORKING, we ONLY need to insert the 2 player names to the table, and they will be able to play after being redirected.

Some more details about this system:
- An invitation disapears after 5 minutes in the Game Invitations list.
- If one of the 2 players logs out, the invitation disapears for the player who is still online.
- When the match starts… The invitation for both players disapear of course.
- Maybe anything more you can think of would be great.

Perhaps also we should use AJAX to notify the players they had an invite, and players can either decline or accept pop up notifications.

If the player declines the popup notif., he will still receive the invites but in the Game invitations list, quietly.

Thanks!
