We need a script built and integrated into www.santaenguatemala.com that provides the functionality found at www.cardcafe.com – the ability for a user to either choose or upload an image for their postcard, the ability for them to custom write a message for the reverse side of the card, the ability for them to preview the card,enter where they would like it sent, optionally choose to add a gift from the store gallery and then complete a checkout process and behind the scenes the ability to email the newly designed card to the print shop.

My site skillwire.com was recently developed for me by a programmer who I can’t contact currently to do these modifications. I need some additional features programmed into the site. These are not complex features and are described as follows:

- Search function on the bulletin board to search for posts (divided in into page 1, page 2 …. after x amount of results)

- Search page results for ‘skill providers’ divided in into page 1, page 2 …. after x amount of results

- Abillity for Skill-provider to upload a resume file, E.G .doc, .docx, .ppt or .txt (the extensions I permit should be defined in the admin control panel of the app). This will need to be integrated into the sign-up process as an option.

- Ability for Skill-provider to upload an optional graphic image (for example a company logo or picture of themselfs), so it will display on their profile page. This will need to be integrated into the sign-up process as an option.

- Ability for a Skill-provider to send an automatic email to any email address requesting that a user signs-up and rates them for doing a job.

- Ability for any user to send an auto email from the front page informing users about the site (don’t want to use capatcha, so will need to be throttled somehow).

- When skill-provider clicks on ‘accept job’ the skill-seekers details should be displayed to the skill-provider underneath

-Ability for Admin user to send internal email to all skillsire.com users with messages and site update news.

-Primary Skills listed in alphabetical order on site

-New profile field for skill-providers ‘Experience’ (rated in years: 1 – 10+). This will need to be set to 0 for all existing profiles and all new account sign-ups will be made choose a value.

You must have experience modifying vBulletin and you should probably already have your own copy of vbulletin for testing and development purposes.

I will install the latest version of vBulletin. I want several modifications done to the site including:

I will be purchasing and adding the vbTube addon which will allow members to upload videos as well as comment on videos, etc.

You should do the following to incorporate the vbTube addon into ordinary vbulletin profiles:

Rotate recent thumbnails of videos upload by user on their profile.
Rotate recent thumbnails of images uploaded by user on their profile.

Basically when you are finished users will be able to create video albums and image albums and upload videos/photos into their selected album. They should be able to edit video/image caption and select an image to overwrite their current default image.

Users will be able to search by Age, experience level, gender, location, and a few other fields I will give to you.

You should be able to view a member’s vBulletin profile and see random (or recent) video thumbnails (if any have been uploaded) as well as image thumbnails.

There really isn’t a lot of work to be done. I would like to turn a stock vbulletin script into a slightly more social community site. The front page of vBulletin should rotate random video thumbnails.

More work if you do a great job and bid reasonably! Please only bid if you have prior vbulletin experience and/or Ajax experience.

Looking for reliable low-cost website designer for in-house and customer projects.

Overview
Our current needs are twofold.
1) Our Clients
Most of our clients our very small with very limited budgets ($300-$800) with a few larger ones on occasions. They come to our computer store looking for assistance for basic sites for their business. Most are very basic but a few that are more sophisticated. Typically we do the small projects in-house but would consider outsourcing if we find a good source.
We are in current need of a basic site for a company that produces/prints labels for a variety of applications. For example, the bar code label that you might find a gallon of water. They have sample prints of those labels that they’d like to appear on the site (perhaps a high-quality scan or graphic provided by customer). Ecommerce is not a requirement but the framework should support and scale to support such functions. They would like a professional site like most companies with most of the basic functions that one would expect (i.e. contact us form, sample product listings, possibly gallery of projects they’ve done,etc). Max would be 3 or 4 pages. Flash is not a requirement but may be appropriate. If not, a good graphic image that on main page.
We have a few other small projects that are pending until we find a good resource.
2) In-house
Our in-house requirements are a bit more complex. We’d first like to improve our existing site and we are in need of a few utility programs. We have a computer storefront in which we do computer sales/service as well as other IT services for small business clients. I’ve included some sample sites below. We’d like to enhance our existing site to include such functions as:
a) remote desktop support (currently direct the customer to our site to download ultravnc download program). Something similar to Logmein Rescue would be ideal but is costly at this stage. Would welcome some suggestions here.
b) Ability for customers to submit trouble ticket that’s email to our techs. Currently we use Hesk (an opensource PHP solution) but would but nice to have integrated to our main itcomps.com site.
c) Blog to link to knowledge base articles mainly to help back linking for SEO.
d) Ability for customers to track status of WO that’s created in quickbooks POS system (ver. 6.0 will be updated to ver. 9 soon). Here’s our process. Customer’s bring in sick computer, we create a WO# in Quickbooks POS. We then enter the WO into a MySQL/PHP DB (www.ourwebsite.com/<php> located in our tech room in the back. Our techs update and add notes to this DB for other techs to review. Currently we don’t give customers any type of receipt or reference # at check in but do capture their email address. Ideally we’d enter the WO in QB POS (ideally it wouldn’t be QB POS but something different but that’s another story) and it would automatically update the MySQL DB with all the customer info. QB POS SDK appears to offer such capabilities but would require us to learn the SDK requirements. It would make since to automate a process where the system would generate an email that’s sent to customer once we save the WO in QB POS (or in the MySQL DB). Once the techs update status of WO this would generate another email to customer. We have a couple of Windows Servers including SBS 2003 if a good solution could be hosting in-house or we have shared Linux based servers.
e) Ability to send weekly email with product specials and newsletter of tech tips to drive traffic to our site. Check out this sample below. Of course this leads to the ability for the customer to order one of our featured products online.
f) Ecommerce functions. We currently do not sell on eBay but are quickly accumulated computer laptop parts that are very valuable on sites like eBay. We’d like to have links to several of the online marketplaces like eBay with the ability to easily add listings of our computer parts to our eBay store as well as website. We do specialize in refurbish laptops and would like to list them on sites like eBay and CL. This may require an admin area with templates to make listing easier. Or would we use another third party listing service? Comments are welcome here.
g) Ability to add weekly laptop order to an inventory DB so that sales reps and potential wholesalers and customers can view. Here’s how it might work. We receive inventory in of laptops, screens, towers, etc. from our vendors. These items with S/N and other fields would be entered into this DB. This DB is could be the same DB that we list on our website or upload to eBay or CL. Makes sense to only have one DB sycronized wth all applications.
h) The list above may be broken out into a few utility programs rather than complicate it by create a huge program.

Languages and Currences just need to be totally removed

Ugly surfer guy when account is created needs to go away – some other image that is more appropriate needed

checkout_success.php needs to be changed to say order will take 3-5 days to process and be delivered within 7-14 days

Reviews need to be removed or have some option to be disabled
